Chiima's Happy Love Syndrome PV/Song Favourites of July!

Dude, wouldn't 'Happy Love Syndrome' be a cute song title for C-ute, S/mileage or Morning Musume? No? Well I think it would so I honestly don't care for your opinion! XD

Hiiiya! I am Chiima and today is officially the last day of July here in England! And facking aye, it's SUNNY? Bloomin' 'eck, it comes out for the last day of July >.> Stoopid weather... Oh well, I had ice cream today and stood around outside as well, then sat back on my butt to trollz the internetsz lawl lawl.

Anyway, I better shut up now, you're not here to listen/read about my day, are you? HECK NAW, you're here to see what farkin PV's and songs I has been lovin' this July. Good thing too, cos I've been liking/digging a few that I was surprised I enjoyed xD namely an AKE one (you know which one!) that is STUCK IN MY HEAD 8D 8D

OKAY LET'S GO!

BTW this is no specific order, just whatever order I want them to be in :F

Hetappi Winku

I can't be bothered to learn the fooking name for this group so Ima call it Chinny's Winky Minions for now until I can be bothered to learn their group name >.>

Anyways when this song came out I listened. I actually like this group, ever since I heard their rendition of 'Valentines Kiss' - which is still the only version of that song I have heard - and fell for their chipmunked charms. I swear, though, if I sing this I will have a bloody headache. I did with Valentines Kiss because of the squeak-o-meter, so I won't be surprised if it happens with this song. It sounds painful to sing and listen to at the same time... >.> Did they get headaches?

As well as the cute song, the PV's real sweet too. Chinny-sama realises that she FAIHLS when she winks and so sets to practice until she can do it! But as she practices, she sits back and watches as her fellow team members better her and wink like they be Pro's! Oh my, I half expected her to get off her touché and slap them silly for upstaging her! She's the damned front gurl, you don't show her up, ladehs! -bitch slap, BITCH SLAP!-

Okay, I wasn't really expecting that... but it woulda been cool, right? No? Shut up >.>

Going on, I like the end of the PV where she gives you this 'I can f**king DO THIS!' smile, like she's all confident and knows she's gonna beat those bitches when she winks.

I'm the mother F**king Princess!

Then you LAWL when she pulls this face after failing:

OMFG I FAIHL!!!!! (;______;)

Poor Chinny-sama... >.> LAWL FAIHL!

Y'know, you'd think that the AKB man would send in a Professional to teach this girl how to wink, right?

Yeah... let's teach that Bitch how to wink, Winky!

Winky, you're in your element!

Teach her well <3

Uchoten LOVE

Uchoten Love, Presented by Hinoi Team S/mileage!

What d'you get when Tsunku smokes some crack and thinks of S/mileage?

UCHOTEN LOVE!

Okay not crack... but something so good that he came up with this AWESOME song!

I fuckin' LOVE S/mileage, I think they're awesome - the only one I don't like is Dawa, cos she just annoys me, and she can't sing :/ Neither can Maeda Yuuka, but she's not as bad as Dawa when it comes to being squeaky... urgh >.>

Anyway, the reason why I love this crack-infused pop-disco-beat kinda song is cos it freakin' reminds me of Hinoi Team! And I love Hinoi Team... or loved, dunno which one it is, I'll tune into their songs once in a while... but whatever, it still reminds me of Hinoi Team, which is always good because it means that S/mileage are still trying out CRAZEH new things which makes them all the more awesome.

I wish that MoMosu would do this ;o; OH WELL >.>

Other than the song, the PV is a mass of colour and randomness. We have PuriKura, Dancing in a disco place with a balloon-infested disco globe, a school set, some balloon love and some sparkly CGI which kinda bitch slaps Ai no Dangans shit excuse for a PV which also had the same amount of heart, sparkly CGI xD

Facking EPIC!

You'd be epic if the PV wasn't FAIL D<

I feel that H!P learnt from their mistakes ^o^ coughAINODANGANcough!

My Days For You

Bet you knew this would be here, right? GOOD, because it is, whether you like it or not!

I have been a little more than obsessed with this song since I watched the Riverside version of the PV, and this has made me a bigger Mano Erina fan thanks to the song itself. It's incredibly soothing and the most beautiful freakin' song and PV out of all the H!P releases so far, it definitely tops Kikkawa Yuu's debut single for me. And that was one of my favourite songs back when it came out, with ONLY YOU being frekain' second! But no, this song is BETTER! I can't even remember the tune to Kikkawa's song now >.>

Anyway, as you know, I love the PV and this song for the simplicity and the absolute gorgeousness of the scenery and such./ It's just an epic blend, and Mano seriously delivers for this song,l so BRAVA!

Don't look sad, you beat Kikka in my books! ;o;

Pareo wa Emerald

Yeah you knew this would be here, too. I love this song, not as much as My Days For You, but it is there in the top sitting with Mano.

I love the colours in this PV! It's like AKB man threw a load of rainbow bikini's at them and told the girls that's what they had to wear, with greeny-blue Pareo's as the main focus. The bikini's are really cute and bright and summery (duh, Bikini's >.>) and even though I get kinda sick of bikini's, this PV is alright >3<

Seriously though, this PV barfs summer. But it's a predictable AKB kinda PV, so it is also annoying as well as nice when I watch it. I can't help but think 'AK-fucking-B' throughout it, and pin point what is so AKB about it. Much like the girl in red who no one likes and then she jumps off the cliff - OH LOOK FRIENDS 8D - suicidal thoughts gained her friendies ^o^ Yaaaaay -sarcastic clapping-

But one thing bugs me about this PV - why are all the boys Americans? Okay I get that this was shot in Hawaii, but everyone barring the SKE members are white/American/HawaiinAmerican - it styumps me. Are the AKB girls the only Japanese girls there? Because I know for sure that Hawaii is home to Asian people as well as American-y looking people, just saying...

Dude, I have found my new favourite!

Strippers!? In SKE? How AKB of you >:O

Momoiro Sparkling

PINK FOOKING SPARKLES FTW 8D

YEI!

Okay I love this song because of how overly pink and C-ute it is >3< That's probably the only reason... OH and Chisato ;D She makes this PV better than what it would have been if Airi was the freakin' main singer >.> Luckily the chose the best singer for this song ^o^

Oh <3 and BALLS!

Lots and LOTS of BALLS!

Can't you tell I don't give a flying fook about what I'm writing about anymore? I can!

OKAY so I will conclude this now, because I cannot be bothered to post about Natsu Wanna Say Love U even though I LOVE the entire single! I'm too tired to care and I have work to get to, so let us hope that this suffices, OKAY?

RIIIGHT TOODLE PIP!

Short Cut - The Eripon Way!

So it came to my knowledge when trolling the Hello! Online forums that Mistress Pon was to get a short cut! :o Few thought it was a rumour, whilst many anticipated this change with welcoming hearts, wondering just how short Mistress Pon would cut her hair! Well, without further a due, here are the pictures that surfaced on the H!O Eripon boards!

Most likely taken from Chisato's blog... or most definitely? <3 Whatever, it's a cute two-shot!

A cute shot of Eripon with her short cut! The energetic Mistress Pon looks lovely!~

Gracing us with another cute two-shot, we see Fuku-hime and lovely Mistress Pon together, both showing beautiful smiles <3

From the back, we see Mistress Pon's lovely hair.

I like the short cut! For some (like my sister) it may be a shock to them, and sad as well as her hair is now gone, but I really like this change that Eripon has made! I say thanks to all the H!P staff and members who suggested she get it, because without them saying 'it will look good on you' she might not have done it!

I can't wait for official pictures to come out of Eripon with styled hair, because this look is great on her! It matures her a little, but it looks just beautiful!

I have to say, she suits the short cut better than Gaki-sama! Dx

I am now going to anticipate the chin-length Eripon bob >3<

<3

Goodbye, cute Eripon pigtails! We shall miss you! <3

Chiima's Top 5 Japanese Summer Songs! Because Britain has Zero Sun

All opinions regarding PVs, the Summer and Britain are thoughts of my own. Don't take any offense, because seriously, we all have opinions, so if you don't like mine, GTFO of my blog! Also, swearing may appear. Gomen~~~~ NE >D

Okay! So obviously, Summer is here! Well... not for us Brits! We had summer waaaaaaaay way back in April. Yeah, that's how backwards our fucking system is >.> OH sorry for the profanity... >.> I just hate this country a little ^o^ Not cos of the weather... the government... I can't WAIT for a job and a nice passport... >.> aye aye AYE!

ANYWAYS continuing... so what to do when you don't have a summer, and you're a fan of Japanese music and do nothing else but sit on your ass all day? You listen to summery Jpop songs that have just come out! And then you make a list of your Top 5!!!!

Wait... I don't have 5... >.> Crap... Oh well! Let's make some UP >D

Anyways, fair warning; I have branched out of the H!P box a little and gone for some things that definitely are NOT Hello! Pro related! :3

SO let's start!

Numero 5!

Pareo wa Emerald By SKE48

As I said before, I have branched out from the H!P box and I have opened up to other groups that originally, I did not like. Most notably AKB48. Obviously Pareo wa Emerald is the song to AKB's sister group, SKE48, who personally I like a lot more, even if their songs are just as generic and predictable as AKB's.

What I liked about this song is the fact that the more you listen to it, the better it gets. You listen to it once, it's not memorable, listen to it twice, a little bit more memorable, then a few more times and you're pretty much loving it. Though the part that stuck to me was the DDR-like instrumental during the beginning and middle. The rest of it is a bit meh, but you learn to like it more with each listen.

This is a pretty recent song, so if you haven't checked it out you definitely should try it. Again, it's pretty generic in terms of vocals, instrumental, PV and summery theme from AKB and its sister groups. And by that I mean the Bikini's, story line of one girl being left out by the others (unintentionally I guess?) and dancing on the beach.

Ah, generic AKB... Gotta love it, I guess.
I seriously wanna decipher the writing on the that ledge!

It can get kinda boring if you're a fan of AKB/SKE, unless you're dedicated of course, but considering I ignore most of AKB because of how boring their songs are (yep, I really don't like most of their songs cos of how boring they can be) I find this PV nice, but still generic cos I know what AKB are like, and a little unoriginal concept wise. Seriously, Akimoto, summer doesn't mean bikini's and the beach, so stop shoving their bikini'd boobs in our faces! >.>

Okay none the less, I like this song... >.> Damned catchy...

Number 4!

Genki Pika Pika By Morning Musume!

Okay so we have a sneaky H!P one thrown in here, and of course it has to be Morning Musume! Why is it so low on my list? Because I actually don't find this as genki as I used to! Back when it came out, I adored this song and wouldn't stop listening to it! I still love it lots, and I think that it's great for summer, which is why it's in here!

What I do love about this song is the fact that you can hear just how happy all of the girls are! It's really enlightening, and it does make you want to dance a lot as well, especially on the beach. Actually, when I think of this song, I think of the beach and listening to this sort of song on that very beach. It's quite soothing to think of that! Haha <3

Now what is so 'refreshing' about this song is the PV. And I know, I know, I just went on a little 'it's generic' rant about the SKE PV, but if you think about it in terms of Morning Musume, it's different, it's new, it is refreshing, because how many PV's are out there that have Morning Musume in bikini's? What, what was that you said? None? Thank You.
But what I definitely love the most about this PV is how friendly everything is, and how random it can be! When there are close up shots of the members, you can see clearly in the background what some of the other members are doing, like little dances or ruffling each others hair, or trying to get in on the close up! It's all just lovely to see how they are around each other.

They assure us that dancing on the sand is not an easy task
Chu love it, don't-cha?

Ah, another thing I like in this PV - how the dancing isn't perfect, how they can be out of sync because of that damned sand... it's nice to see that it isn't so overly rehearsed like the AKB ones are. OH! And EPIC group poses FTW!!

Damned Winky looks funneh xD
Haha Ai we can barely see you...!
Winky stop smacking Kamei in the face!

Okay I am regretting putting this so low >.< Now I remember why I love this song! It. Is. EPIC!!!!!! *o*

 Numbeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer 3!!!

Mujouken Koufuku By Idoling!!!

DAMN this song be catchy!

This is one of my favourite Idoling!!! songs for the pure fact that yes, it is overly catchy, and it is the sort of song where I randomly throw my arms in the air and wave them around during certain parts of the chorus. This song is seriously cute, and when you hear the singers, you just can't believe how smooth they sound together! I don't know why I used 'smooth' as a word to describe how they sound together xD But that's the best way to phrase their voices as an entire group~

I just really adore this song - I can really imagine myself sun bathing in the garden, or reading, as the sun blares down at me! This will be blasting out of my headphones, and I will want to get up and dance on the grass or sip on a cola or something! This just seems like a summer-garden party song in a way. It's fun and quirky, and makes you want to move a little instead of laying there, catching the rays like the boring person we all can be!

NOW, let's move onto the PV. What I love about it is the different clothes they are all wearing - okay, we have returned to the Bikini's, but not all of them are wearing bikini's - some have tank tops and shorts, others have the bikini and sarong, miniskirts, sleeveless hoodies etc etc - there's a lot of differentiation in there. But what gets me all the time with this PV is how happy everyone seems - there are big smiles on their faces when they dance, so you can tell that they really enjoy this.

I love the beginning, it seriously sounds like CONGA TIME 8D
OMFG BALLOONS!!! SKMNWKNDWKNXDKWNK <3
And now some crazy jumping!

So to top this off, I love this song because it's some how soothing but also up-beat, and it really gets you worked up and makes you want to dance! It's a great summery song (to me) and the PV is just fun and love <3 It's simple, it works, it gets the job done, and that is why I love it.

Sadly, bikini's are too in for summer ;o;

Chu~Chu~Chu~Chu Chu Chu Chu ChuChuChu Chu TWO!

Momoiro Sparkling By C-ute

Okay, so what would be Top 5 list without a bit of C-uteness thrown in there, hm? And if it's a summer song, then Momoiro Sparkling definitely has to wiggle its way into the mix, and it has made number 2 on my list! HURRAH! 8U

I love this song - it has a light, cute feel to it and delivers a good amount of energy towards the listeners and viewers. The group parts are just epic, and it's such a fun song that you can't help but love the sugary awesomeness of it all! >3<

The PV is also something I love a lot - it's simple, and shows you that summer is NOT about bikini's and boobies >.> We see summer taken to a whole new level of decency with THIS PV, because the girls are all wearing bright, cute clothes which are in fact appropriate for summer and still nice to look at. A lot of thought was put into those costumes, and they really fit the fun, summery theme that C-ute is trying to portray through this song.

Also, there is a lot going on in the PV - other than CGI bubbles, that is. There are close ups with water guns, plastic balls (lol) being thrown at the girls to add more colour, bubblegum pink backgrounds, peachy skies with clouds and a checkerboard, volleyball - there is a lot going on in this PV, and it can seem quite busy to some, but it seems really organised to me as well as fun and it makes me want to play outside! Tjough I can't, cos the British weather SUCKS!

Dayumn those poses and those sexay biznitches <3
OMFG FLYING BALLS <3 Spread those arms, Chisa, SPREAD THOSE ARMS!
Voll-AYE-balls, anyone?

So yeah, I love this song and the PV. It's a perfect match, and it also proves that BIKINI'S AREN'T THE ONLY WAY TO GO FOR SUMMER >(

Modesty, betches! Omfg BALLS! <3

okay SO we've had SKE, we've had Morning Musume, Idoling!!! and Balls C-ute power! So out of all these songs, which one has topped my Summer list?

Well, read on to find out BALLS <3

Numbuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuur 1 is the Best! It Fookin' beat the REST!

Okay, so other than the really badly acted out, and overly done facial expressiones, opening to this PV, I really like the song and the K-pop influence it has. Considering that K-pop is popular in Japan right now, I am surprised that 9nine has brought it to their plate instead of a heavily popular group like AKB or Morning Musume. Either way, they pulled it off epically, and will probably get noticed because of their chance to use the K-pop type of style in their summer song.

Now to say that this is a TOTAL summer song is kind of too much - it's not, but you can see a speck of summer in there, mostly in the PV actually. (which is where they has CLOTHES! NOT DAMNED FARKING BIKINIS D:<) I mean they have summery clothes (pastel colours, ice creams to sing in, lovely drinks, EPIC LIGHTING) and close-ups which look airy and fun.

One thing that I definitely love about the PV is the constant costume changes, especially during the Piano-floored room dance shot that they have going on there. It's a really nice use of stop-motion, and gives us a good dance shot view as well. I also love the amount of costumes that these girls wear! They're all perfect for summer, and extremely cute! >3<

I love this PV and song A LOT. There's a good amount of attitude in it, and by watching the PV you get this summer feel to it even if it ISN'T placed on the beach or in a backyard. Just by using simple props like ice cream cones as their mics, you feel like you're listening to, and watching, a summer themed song. From the K-pop influence to the cute outfits, this PV is really something that makes 9nine shine.

Where'd the other chic go? Meh...
I seriously love the pastels! Extremely summery <3
Costume changes = CUTE!
Epic K-pop style dance sequence

So YES, I love this song - which is why it is in my top 5 and also the reason why it won. It has an awesome K-pop influence (and I don't really listen to K-pop!) with an awesome dance, wonderful costumes and beautiful girls to go with it. Heck, despite the lack of a beach, (Momoiro Sparkling also lacks the beach, and it's still awesome) no bikini-clad girls (9nine are idolised by highschoolers, not old men coughAKBcough ) and is the sort of song that you would dance to for the fun of it in the streets, at a party, one the beach or in your yard! This is a lovely song, even if it isn't as summery as the other ones - it's summery enough for me!

BALLS!

Man, I can't wait for ViVi Natsu! Even if PASSPO did decide to take the bloody bikini approach >.>

My Days For You - Simplicity at its best~

All opinions of the PV and song are my own thoughts, and you are not to take offense of my thoughts or opinions. If you feel openly offended, then you may click the back button and leave this blog, it is as simple as that.

Mano Erina's 10th Single, My Days For You brings back the simplicity that once reigned before CGI appeared and dominated the centre stage. Now the 20 year old soloist is back with a beautiful ballad about love and spending your days together.

When I first heard this song I immediately fell in love with it. The calm melody is so appealing, and so different to what Mano Erina usually produces, so I was surprised by this ballad, considering Seishun no Serenade was the single before this. Regardless, this song is absolutely beautiful, and the PV matches it perfectly. This is probably one of my favourite PV's since Kikkake wa YOU!

We open with scenery, something extremely simple but so beautiful... I love this PV already...

One of the first close up shots that we get of Mano singing is her on a bus - there isn't actually much lip-synching in this if you really think about it, most of the shots compiled in this PV are of Mano walking around, taking pictures and looking at different locations.

We will get a lot of these beautiful shots, people~

Mano stares at the camera so few times in this, most of the time she's on the bus when she looks directly into the camera, but on the rare moments we see her singing, she looks just as stunning as she does when she's stood still and staring.

Another reason why this PV is absolute love; long shots! YAY!

The shots where she has her camera are a really nice touch. It gives a more 'real' feeling to the entire PV for me.

Smile~ I love her smile~

Another long-shot pose here. This is a really nice pose, too. I like that they tried different places for Mano in this PV. It adds an artistic, photographic touch to the song.

A close up of Mano's hands - awww, so cute, right? Or is it just me?

See? Not even looking at the camera and it's STILL as gorgeous as it would be if she had looked at the camera.

I really think that this should have been the cover of the single, because seriously - it's a nice picture, and so pretty. It looks completely natural, too.

This is one of my favourite scenes. It's just nice.

Solemn Mano is really nice to see. I love her smile and all, but when she looks like this... she's pretty stunning.

This is another favourite scene - probably because it's far away as well, like we're people watchers, and we're watching Mano-chan...

This shot makes me feel like I am going to start climbing those stairs. The angle just makes it seem like that.

Lovely Mano checking her pictures~

See? Another long shot where we see pretty much just her back. It's a really nice touch.

I like these sorts of scenes within the PV where we get to see other people who aren't Eggs or just Mano herself. It's really nice to see this sort of normality in a PV.

That... smile... -shot with happiness-

-love these shots, as you already know-

This is a really nice Model-like shot that I adore <3

Going back to one of the beginning shots of this incredible PV.

Riverside view - I really liked that version of the PV, too.

More of our photographer, Mano Erina!

I think that these shots were beautiful. It's just nice to see her strolling along at a steady pace with people in the background as the sun shines...

This is a nice shot, too. Hand on heart <3

Another beautiful shot of Mano's lovely smile <3

The last lip-synching scene, and yes, it's gorgeous ;D

I love how it's now close to the evening in the last few shots, you can just tell with how the colour of the sun is - or just by the glow on her hair from the sun... xD

Though this is fairly bright...

YAY ! The shell is back!

The last image of Erina in the entire PV as she watches the sun set in a solemn silence...

And so we end the PV with a beautiful still shot of the beginning of the PV, but in a warmer hue due to the sun setting.

Overall, as you have probably guessed, I LIKE THIS PV! <3

I am a BIG fan of simple things, especially PV's. Heck, my favourite Morning Musume PV (as you might know) is Seishun Collection - one of the simplest PV's I have seen from MoMosu since their earlier ones. So for this to become one of my favourite PV's was pretty obvious... to me, at least.

Seriously, I love everything about it. From the simple bus scene, to the riverside view and the balcony or artistic structure views. It just adds this wonderful feeling to the PV, like you're either walking behind her or beside her, or just plain old people watching her. It's a fantastic PV, and it really delivers the song. I don't think that the directors could have chosen a better way to portray this song, because seriously, this PV acts out this song so well!

Another thing I obviously like about the video is the fact that Mano has a camera with her, like she's just on a day out taking pictures. I especially like the scene where it looks like she's just spotted the cameraman as she holds onto her camera.

SO my overall opinion?

This is a beautiful song that was teamed with an equally beautiful PV. Everything you need is there, and you get some great shots of both Mano and the sceneary around her, because this PV is not just about Mano Erina - it's about what she's doing and seeing, and I love that it isn't solely focused on her. I think that this song (and video) are a great way to introduce Mano Erina as an adult in the Entertainment industry.

I also absolutely adore all the long-shots that they have used - it gives the video more of a people-watching feeling as well as a photographic sort of feeling - throughout most of the scenes I thought that it looked like Mano was posing for the camera, as if she was on a shoot. This video is basically one lovely shoot with music added in there.

One thing I really appreciate about this PV is that there was no use for CGI - I've been seeing CGI from Morning Musume, Berryz, C-ute and S/mileage far too much, so seeing Mano with a fresh, outdoor scene change from everyone else was welcomed pleasantly.

SO, now that you've read a very happy, love-filled review for this PV and song (with a few repetitive sentences chucked in, too) please feel free to go and check out the video for yourself and see if you too are taken in by the sheer simplicity that Mano Erina has brought to our tables!
