Readers Voice: A Fans Appreciation - Michishige Sayumi Graduation Appreciation Posts

These are not my own thoughts, but in fact the thoughts of others. Though I do not do this type of post much, I wanted to share the thoughts and appreciation of other fans regarding the leave of Morning Musume's Michishige Sayumi. Please respect the opinions of the original writers, thank you.

*Regarding this specific type of post, I want to express that I enjoy delivering the messages of the Readers or fans of various groups here if given the permission or asked to add them to the blog. It gives a more diverse perspective to a certain event, situation or thought and allows for you read something that is not written from my point of view. Again, diversity - it is good! Thank you for reading~

**I want to thank both Calli and Mendez for allowing me to create this post after I asked if I could. I was moved by their appreciative pieces regarding Sayumi's graduation, and I truly wanted to share them with you all! So once again, thank you to them both!

This post is a little later than planned due to assignments and Christmas shopping, but aside from the that, I have no excuse...

So a few days ago before and also when Michishige Sayumi graduated, I was on Facebook and found two posts of Appreciation for Morning Musume '14's former Leader and the last standing 6th generation member. Both of the posts really touched me and, of course, made me bawl like the emotional wreck I truly am. The two posts I saw are by friends of mine, so I asked them if I could share their beautiful posts of Appreciation here on my blog for others to see to show my lovely readers what other fans have to say about Morning Musume's 8th leader.

This post will be focused on what both Calli and Mendez have said, rather than what I say. I really appreciate that they both have allowed me to share these Appreciation posts with us all, and to know that others were writing such beautiful words towards Michishige Sayumi before or after her graduation really made me emotional and happy; she was loved by many, and on her graduation day it showed, and so I share with you two posts from two fans who loved her dearly.

So without further ado, please read on and take in both messages from Mendez and Calli and see if you identify with their feelings, too.

Enjoy~

Michishige Sayumi has Graduated from Morning Musume '14

Today on November 26th 2014, Michishige Sayumi has now officially graduated from Morning Musume '14. To her I want to say congratulations on a successful graduation ceremony and for being a part of Morning Musume for over 11 years, successfully proving that she is a true Idol despite coming into the group as one of the weakest members.

During her final concert today she showed us all how far she had truly come.

[A Week with Sayu] Michishige Sayumi - The Graduation Appreciation Post

This post contains my own thoughts and views. Please respect them, and thank you.

*This is the final post in my [A Week with Sayu] series, and it is an Appreciation post, so I mostly reflect on thoughts and feelings for Sayumi that I have here. Thank you for being a part of this series with me, and for being a fan of Sayumi!

In 2009 when I came into the Morning Musume fandom I remember looking at Sayumi once and thinking to myself "Oh, she's cute! Maybe one day she'll become my favourite!". With Koharu's impending graduation coming up at the time, I believed in that thought.

Of course, Sayumi never did become my favourite. Instead I fell for Gaki, but no matter what I always found myself looking at Sayumi.

I never thought she was amazing or anything, because she wasn't; Michishige Sayumi was a weak singer who could never perform as well as others and, though she was cute, never really seemed to have any other qualities I cared much about. Once I started to watch subtitled videos however, I quickly came to realise how much Sayumi's personality stood out above the rest.

[A Week with Sayu] A Final Merci with Sayu's Shaba-Daba-Toodle-oo! - 'Shaba Daba Do~' PV Review!

All thoughts and opinions within this post are my own completely and no one else's. You do not have to agree with me, nor do you have to even read this post, but please respect what I have to say; no two opinions are ever alike! I will respect what you believe as long as you respect what I have to say. Thank you!

*About this Series: [A Week with Sayu] is a week-long series dedicated to Michishige Sayumi on her impending graduation from the group Morning Musume. The intention with this series is to focus on Sayumi as an Idol, personality and member of the group she loves dearly, allowing for me to take a closer look at how she has grown as an Idol since her debut up until her graduation. To do this I will be looking at both past and present forms of work that she has done in her 11 year career, some I have previously loved and some I may have ignored. By the end of this series, I hope to have had a better look at Sayumi as well as seen how she has evolved and progressed as the Idol we know today called Michishige Sayumi. Thank you.

11 years, 38+ singles, 11 solo photobooks and the longest tenure in Morning Musume to date, we have finally come to the end of an era; Michishige Sayumi is about to graduate, reaching her final destination as an Idol with her last single, the final goodbye. With her career coming to a close all too soon, I will take a look at her final PV as a member of Morning Musume '14 and the last solo song that she will have sung as a part of a group that she joined all those years ago, wanting to become a part of something she dearly loved with all of her heart. Now she is leaving it, a group she has helped to grow since becoming a leader, a group that she still dearly loves even today.

From a young girl who debuted in Shabondama with no experience to a young woman who has become a true Idol in Shaba Daba Do~, this is the final song and dance of Michishige Sayumi, Morning Musume's cutest Idol! Her last hurrah, will it do her justice?

[A Week with Sayu] The Penultimate Look: Blue Rose - Photobook Review

Please NOTE: This is a Photobook review. If photobooks of any kind make you feel uncomfortable, whether Idol is under or of age, then this is your warning. Do not read if you will be or feel offended by the images posted here. Thank you.

All thoughts and opinions within this post are completely my own and no one else's. Please appreciate that what I say is not fact, simply what I think. Thank you.

*Credit to Ryan for stocking me with these photobook scans! It is very much appreciated and this post would not have happened without your help!

Michishige Sayumi has truly grown into a beautiful young woman, one who has been appreciated in visual form since her debut. When looking back at her debut photobook, Michishige Sayumi (2004) I knew that I would want to look at another one during this week dedicated to Sayumi before her impending graduation, but not an earlier photobook; I want to look at a more recent one, a book that can represent the Sayumi of today.

And so, because this is the penultimate review post and also because I could not find the full photobook for YOUR LOVE (2014), I will instead be taking a look at Sayumi's penultimate photobook as a member of Morning Musume '14. Let's take a look at Blue Rose (2013).

[A Week with Sayu] The Tale of A Looking Back Beauty - 'Mikaeri Bijin' PV Review

All thoughts and opinions within this post are my own. If you do not agree with what is said, then so be it; that is your issue, not mine. Just respect what I say, thank you.

The parting of Michishige Sayumi will soon be here, and whilst I have been looking back, the Idol we all love so dearly has also been looking back as well. So of course, it is fitting to look at her final appearance in a Music Video with the group she has loved so dearly these past 11 years, even if she isn't necessarily a part of the song itself...

[A Week with Sayu] Platinum Sayumi - A Voice Unheard, A Presence Made Known

With this post I will be taking a look at Michishige Sayumi as a personality and what she brought to a certain era in time as a member of Morning Musume. You do not have to agree with what is said, nor do you have to believe what is written here; this is purely speculation on my part and also theory. I can be very wrong, or I can be a little bit right. Either way, take this post as you will, but remember that my opinion is my own. Thank you.

When looking back on Michishige Sayumi and her 11 year career within Morning Musume, I can't help but notice that, unlike Tanaka Reina, there is one giant gap where Sayu does literally nothing of note because she is just... there.

Hello, Platinum Era.

[A Week with Sayu] The First Look: Michishige Sayumi - Photobook Review

Please NOTE: This is a Photobook review. If photobooks of any kind make you feel uncomfortable, whether Idol is under or of age, then this is your warning. Do not read if you will be or feel offended by the images posted here. Thank you.

One aspect of Sayumi that has always been evident since the beginnings of her career in Hello! Project is that she is a visual artist. Her presence, though not always shown as much as others, is undeniable, her look is appealing and her charisma is pretty damn high. So, taking all that into account, I realised pretty early on that in this series I would need to take Sayumi's visual aspect into account, rather than her singing. Where Reina was a vocal presence as an Idol, Sayumi is certainly more focused on the visual aspect of being an Idol - no wonder those two worked so well together.

So it seemed the obvious decision to do a Photobook review. I have not done one of these in a while!

[A Week with Sayu] Sayu ~Kokoro no Busu ni Naranee!~ - Otome Gumi's 'Yuujou ~Kokoro no Busu ni Naranee!~' PV Review!

Regarding thoughts and opinions, and all of that other drab stuff, within this post are those of my own and mine alone. If you don't agree with me, then good for you! I'd rather you have your own opinion than take mine and allow it to warp your mind. FREEDOM TO THE BRAIN!!!

*The Overview/Review that you will read is a post created with Michishige Sayumi in mind, as opposed to other members featured in the video that I will be looking at. Whilst I will try to point out other small factors of what has been watched, please do keep in mind that main focus is Sayumi and Sayumi alone. Thank you.

*About this Series: I originally debuted this series in 2013, with the impending graduation of Tanaka Reina at the time as my inspiration. My intention with this serious is very much written in the same vein, with Sayumi as a focus in various PV's so that I can take a closer look at how she has grown as an Idol from way back when up until this point in time. With this in mind, I will be looking at past and present works featuring Sayumi that I may have ignored, never known about or loved before now. I do hope that for this series, there will be a mixture that will allow me to see the progress of Sayumi as an Idol.

Okay, so it's time for Part 2 in this mini-series titled [A Week with Sayu], and thankfully the video for this one was easier to find than the Do it! NOW best shot was, so for that I am rather thankful! I actually wanted to talk about this PV as a point of Sayu's career when I thought about returning to this kind of series because I felt that, for her early days in Morning Musume especially, this is one of those songs that held a bit more focus on Michishige Sayumi and her singing, whilst in most of the main-group songs she was drowned out and given smaller lines in favour of the bigger names, the girls that they clearly did want to push Reina, Miki, Ai-butt, and so I decided that today I would take a look at another 2004 song (though I think the Do it! NOW best shot was done in 2003. Dem hairstyles.), one where I knew her presence was pretty strong.

Bring on the Otome, if you dare!!!

[A Week with Sayu] Emote! NOW - Morning Musume's Best Shot Vol. 1 'Do it! NOW' PV Review

All thoughts and opinions within this post are completely my own. You do not have to agree with me, I do not expect that of anyone, so disagree with me if you please, just don't be a snarky arse in the comments and act self-righteous. Ta.

It has been a while, and I apologise. I won't go into full explanation mode because 1) that would be boring and 2) this is not the time or place for that, so for now just accept the apology given if you wish, and we shall begin~

The End of the World as we know it is drawing near, dears, or at least for a good chunk of the fandom that we are a part of. Why is that, you ask? Well, because a certain someone, a leader of a group I rather enjoy, is graduating, and given her popularity within said fandom, it does somewhat feel like the world is ending, though that won't be the case.

Well, I hope it won't. The most I expect is a lot of crying (even on my part) and some posts on Facebook. Oh and praise for her. Lots and lots of praise, all from her h8rs... praising that she's left, that is. The latter, I know will happen. DON'T DENY IT!!!

Anyway, when I realised that Dooms Day was pretty much smacking itself in my face, I knew what I had to do - in fact, I planned to do this about two months ago, but never got around to writing any of it due to the issues of settling into University and then assignments throwing themselves at me, so alas I waited until days before - and so, I have returned to write for Chayu/Sayu, whatever you may call her, with a week of Appreciation. I am excited, it has to be said! What else can you expect from a blogger who has not blogged for so long?

So yes, I'm back to doing [A Week with...], much like I did for Winky last year (holy cow, it's been that long!?) but this time, it's SAYU!!! And seriously, why not do this? I enjoyed it thoroughly with Winky last year, it allowed me to appreciate her a lot more actually, so I'm going to do it with Sayu as well! I have a few things in mind review-wise, but honestly, it was hard to find a starting point for this series, because I've done Shabondama already, right? Seriously, what can I do?

Get Yo Cake On! Let the Cake Day Bizarre BEGIN!!!

Because every time this day of the year rolls around, I make a brand spankin' new BANNER! UMF, YEAH!!!

God damn, Sayu does make a glorious theme for a new banner, doesn't she? And what better way to celebrate today than with CAKE!? Like, seriously!!!

November 18th, my Blog's official Cake Day! You can also call it an Anniversary, Birthday, the day this blog came to life... anything you want, but to me it is officially a Cake Day and I am ready to celebrate it with all of you! Oh my gosh I have been waiting for this day so much, I'm just sitting here all like EEEEEP! Honestly, I am bouncing in my seat and typing like a lunatic, I'M THAT EXCITED! FEEL THE EXCITEMENT, PEOPLE! GYAAAAAAH!!!

I don't know what's gotten me so excited, aside from the fact that today, oh my gosh today, my Blog is 4 years old. FOUR YEARS OF AGE, PEOPLE! That's... wow, that's incredible and yeah, I'm ecstatic about this. I'm so happy, so overwhelmed! I don't think you have any idea how happy and hyper I am right now, and just so downright proud. I feel like a Mama bear who's cub successfully stole that pot of honey. Ma gosh!

Okay, so I know I haven't written as much as I could have this year due to my life becoming... well, a big thing. University has really swamped me, I'm now on the University newspaper as well, and I'm just trying to work my hardest to get good grades. But even with all this I don't forget my blog, my lovely 4 year old blog... it's still here for me, and to know that I have made it this far, even when life has become busier and my mind more preoccupied with schoolwork and my own life, well... it's wonderful. I'm so happy that, through everything, I have come to the 4 year mark with Okay! Musume Time and returned to celebrate another Cake Day.

If I thought that my 3rd year Anniversary with this blog was a big thing, then I feel like I'm making an even bigger to-do out of this years anniversary; it feels special. Then again, this blog is special. It's my baby boo and I love it!

So of course I wouldn't miss the Cake Day of my blog for the world, because damnit, it's my blog and I want to celebrate this day with you all! Everyone who reads what I write is just as much a part of this blog as I am, so it isn't just a day to celebrate 4 years of this blog being around, but also 4 years of you guys being here, supporting whatever terrible things I write and for just giving me a chance to use my voice, to hear your voices, and also for being a part of this community. I would love to say that it was my pure passion for Idols and writing that kept me going this long, but I wouldn't be telling the whole truth, because it really is you guys I have to thank. Without your inspiration, comments or suggestions, I would probably not be sitting here today.

So, thank you. 4 years have gone by, and I hope 4 more pass as well in the future. Today, on my blog's beloved Cake Day, we shall celebrate together; let us celebrate the blog, the cake and, of course, the readers behind the screens.

Okay! Musume Time, OMEDETOU!!!

Now that the speech is over and done with, let's celebrate! It's time to GET YO CAKE ON!

First up... CHAYU!!!

I see Chayu's getting her Cupcake on for the Cake Day Bizarre...

But which one will she choose!? The yellow cake or the pink cake...?

Of course, it has to be the pink one!!!

Actually, I have my own cupcake to celebrate Cake Day Bizarre, so HA!!!

Oi now, you cheeky mare! This blog may have been around a while, but 20 years is 16 years too many!

Got cake? NO!!! But Chayu DOES have a few gifts for me right there, I see...~

What is it with these Idols and claiming this blog is 20!? Geez...

Still, at least they bring CAKE!

Ooooh, looks like we're gonna have a party! A MUSUME PARTY!

My ever-reliable Honey-bo, breakin' out the wine for us adults! Good to know you celebrate in style, Honey~

Chayu's bringing the balloons 'cause you can't have a party without the balloons!

Meanwhile, Gaki comes with a delivery of even more cake... and herself!!!

CHAYU! That is NOT what the Balloons are used for!!!

This Cake Day Bizarre would not be complete without moar CAKE!!! Gimme some o' that cake, Dayashi!

Mayu: "Do you want some cake with your cake?"
Paruru: "Indeed I do!"

Cake be GOOD!

As long as cake is involved girls, I don't care what you dress up as during whatever season.

That said, why not just dress up as CAKE!? Gives me a Sugar Rush!!!

Goodness gracious me, even Arashi have come to the Bizarre! Didn't know it was that popular!

Sho thanks me for the cake, I simply smash it in his pretty face as a 'You're welcome'~

Hows about some cake from the group I fail to boycott?

Look who finally turned up with her share of the cake! Come on in, Sakuranbo, you don't have to feel ashamed!

Dayashi: "Do I see... CAKE!?"

I think Riho's more excited than I am at the prospect of cake!

And gracing us with her presence once again is Chayu, bringing with her... well, CAKE!!!

Oh look, just in time! Juice=Juice have brought us all cake, though Uemuu doesn't look too happy at the prospect of sharing it with me...

Good thing KanaTomo came along with extra snacks, then!

Risako is excited for cake! And why wouldn't she be!?

S/mileage went a little overboard though and decorated theirs in their image... girls, it's MY blogs cake day...!!!

I think the boys have realised that the cake is three candles too short as well... thanks for clarifying, lads! ^^

That face worries me...

and yet I still trust the cake itself!

Oh wow, that cake sure does look delicious! Can I share some?

Omnomnomnomnom...

And yet, Koha refuses to share her cake with me ;^;

But no matter what, you can always rely on this fact;

THERE WILL ALWAYS BE CAKE!!!

And where would this Cake Day Bizarre be without a little music!? HIT THE DECKS, DJ!

Because... PAPANCAKE! All cake is good cake~

BECAUSE TODAY IS THE BIRTHDAY! YEEEEAH!

... Nothing beats a classic ;)

But nothing can beat AAA and their Birthday ballad, either!

And yet... nothing can beat the greatness that is Arashi no Yoru ni...

I miss Sea*A...

No matter what though, let's all have a SUPER Happy Birthday together and many more after!

Thank you for celebrating with me. I love you <3

Where Chiima shares her Scattered Scribblings on Country Musu--- Sorry, Country ・Girls!

And on the 7th day, Tsunku said 'Ah, fuck it' and so, he recycled Country Musume...

In an amazing turn of events, it turns out that Country Musume is still going to happen! Correction: Country ・Girls is going to happen! Didn't expect that news this week, did you? I sure didn't, if that helps!

According to a post on Facebook that I found, it turns out that after the failure of the auditions that took place to revive the group, Satoda Mai, the sole remaining member of Country Musume, still hoped for the group to make its comeback with such a passion that her wish was granted, and so two Trainee's were plucked up from the training programme as well as a few 12ki rejects, and the group was revived and re-named.

Unicorns Not Included: Are You Ready for the Cupitron Parade!? - 'Unicorn Parade' PV Review!

All thoughts and opinions within this post are, first and foremost, my own. If you do not agree with me, then that is perfectly fine, just don't offend if you dislike what I write. Respect is key here; You respect me, and I shall respect you back. Thank you very much.

Question time! What happens when you merge together Megatron, cute-ass little aliens and Idols?

Motherfucin' Cupitron, that's what!

This is what happens when you combine Megatron and Perfume and force them to procreate. That said, I am not really complaining. It brought us these Cutie Trons, after all!

Everyone, say a big hello and hurrah to Cupitron, the latest group to join the slowly but surely growing Kiss Point Records, home to Tsuribit, that fishing x Idol unit. Already I feel that this company is going to be dead set on gimmickin' up the groups a tad, and honestly, Cupitron is no exception! Do you like cute-as-a-button girls with angelic faces? Do you like techno pop so over-riddled with reverb and auto-tune that you have no clue if it's all three of them singing, or just one? Do you like fuckin' ROBOTS in your videos? Well, tick those check boxes, because here comes Cupitron! Stinkin' cute Angels with a robotic vibe, at your service!

I highly doubt they will disappoint, because seriously, I have not been disappointed, at least not with Unicorn Parade! And yes, I am being serious. Aren't I always?

For a group that's pretty new, having debuted only this year with this being their second song overall but the first release physically, I feel like Cupitron has had a pretty strong introduction into the Idol world. Okay, so I may not have been there when they initially debuted, but after having recently giving them a proper look... well, I'm really happy I took a chance on the group! I know I'm not the biggest Techno-fiend out there, but having listened to this song and watching the video, I am rather glad that Cupitron managed to capture my attention! I don't usually go for techno music, so realising that I really like this song (I really like it) was a surprising experience. Currently it's my most played song, and after hearing it only three times, my sister is sick of me playing it.

Good thing I'm in University and she's not. Now I just have nine other people to piss off with the repetition of this glorious song! HAHA!

Okay okay, I'll shut up for a bit now, because the intro is getting long, and anyway, I'm not talking about the song much today; instead, it is the PV I have a focus on, because it is this amazing video that is the reason I am actually intrigued fascinated by the entity that is Cupitron! So, buckle your seat-belts lads, because we're in for a galactic ride! Yes, it's time for one of my massive PV reviews yet again, and this one is no exception!

Are you ready to go on an adventure into a Robotic Universe? Are you ready for some Angelic faced humanoids to entrance you with their sweetness? ARE YOU READY FOR LIFT OFF? If so, then get ready, because it's time for Cupitron and their hypnotic Unicorn Parade! Be warned, though; Unicorns not included!

Let's GO!!!

Holy all things gorgeous CinemaScope!

Good lord, this is one beautiful opening shot! THANK YOU, Camera People! -drools all over cameraman-san-

Holy Close-Ups BATMAN! This girl has some pretty eyes, and dem SPARKLES!

SPARKLES!!!

Is this a circuit board or a Techno City Metropolis? Oh, who cares, it looks AWESOME!!!

Reporting for Duty: Cupitron at your service! Beam 'em up, Scotty!

Cupitron: -dusts off space debris from their last adventures in Galactic Space Conundrum- "All in a days work~"

Cute and sassy! What next, stylish in their choreography?

Cupitron: "Don't you FABULOUS in our Choreography?"

THE SKIRTS POOF OUT! ERMAGERD! -dies of happiness-

And I think I just found my newest Loli to fangirl over, eep!

That said, Saika-Tron is adorable in a Soulless, doll-eyed way...

But my heart is set on Rina-Tron! Rina-Tron, give me your love!!!

Rina-Tron: The lights... they are calling me home...

Nichika-Tron really looks like a robot xD Actually, she suits the group well! Robot-Tron!!!

Good grief, look at how cute my little Rina-Tron is! DAMN ADORABLE!

And Crikey Malikey, Nichika-Tron is gorgeous! When she's not staring off into Robo-Space, she looks seriously lovely! Saika-Tron is also exceptionally lovely, in her dead-eyed way.

That is some damn pretty Kaleidoscope action going on there! Galactia, here I come!

Saika-Tron: *Gasp* Impressive effects!"

See, even Saika-Tron is amazed by the prettiness of the Kaleidoscope effect! SUGOII!

Saika-Tron: "I'm more surprised that you like the effects, actually!"

Multiple Rina-Tron!? CHRISTMAS HAS COME EARLY!

Holy shit, this scene is fucking ADORABLE.

And this gorgeous scenery is just fucking incredible. Props to KissPoint Records' editors, they know how to make a good fucking PV.

... Dude, I'm barely into a minute of this PV and already I am in love... that's awesome editing, there!

Holy shit, Saika-Tron's hands have fused together! o-O That, or she's doing the Vulcan salute!

Are they holding imaginary guns or praying to go back to Homeland Galactia, where they belong?

Nichika-Tron! A damn beauty, but when I try to screencap her, she ends up looking a tad goofy!

Eh, nothing wrong with a goofball in the Tron clan!

Nichika-Tron, are you trying to become an air-plane? I don't think that's going to fly if you wanna go home to Galactia...

Nichika-Tron: "I'm Buzz Lighter! To Infinity, and BEYOND!!!"

I'm actually surprised that, so far, the background hasn't distracted me all that much... I man, LAZERS! AND TINFOIL! IT'S SHINY!!!

And yet, the cuteness shines brightest of all... IN RINA-TRON!!! <3

Saika-Tron: "Bitch, I'm the cutest of them all!"

Ah shit, I offended Cupitron's Front and Center!

Saika-Tron: "Haha, I'm kidding, you fuck-nut."

Oh, well then.. PHEW!

Nichika-Tron, are you on a DJ Deck or...?

Oh wait, are you the Ship controller!? Yeah, I bet you're the Navigator on board, and you steer the ship!

What the fuck am I talking about?

Nichika-Tron: "..."

She is not impressed with my assumptions. That said, DAMN GURL, you fine!

Successfully spotted this groups A~chan

Jesus Christ, WHY IS THIS GIRL SO FUCKING CUTE!?

I swear, this is the best solo close-up I have seen since forever... cuter than Sayumi, I do not even regret saying that, nope NOPE!

I see Saika-Tron is trying to get in contact with Homeland Gactica!

Saika-Tron: "I want to go home, NOW! BEAM ME THE FUCK UP, IMBOCILES!"

Holy shit, this scene is so pretty! Whoever styled the PV, props to you!

Okay, is it mandatory to put a running scene in Idol PV's? At least, Kiss Point Records so far have had both girl groups they manage do running scenes... is it necessary?

Though this one looks like it could be for a hair commercial.

Run, Saika-Tron, run!

Look at my little cutie pants, running for her little life! Run, you adorable thing, RUN!!!

Holy shit, she's so fucking CUTE!

... Actually, doesn't she look a bit like Ishida Ayumi!? But cuter?

Aaaand we just went into first person point of viw.

EPIC!!!

You don't even realise how much this makes my stomach flip when watching this scene, do you? It's so COOL!

Holy shit, she is a cute little Alien, isn't she?

Actually, they're all cute little aliens. Fucking hell, what are these Loli's doing to me!?

Wait a seco--- IS THAT TANK? Holy shit guys, that's a fucking TANK behind them! Seriously!?

Shit just got real, a Galactic Tank is here! Jesus, what planet are these girls from to have a tank that can quite possibly shoot LAZER BEAMS from it!? This is so incredibly fuckin' awesome!

Holy shit... A LAZER TANK, GUYS!

I just want to poke her... -pokes-

Holy shit... that tank is AWESOME!!! I need to buy me one of those!

Good Lord, Nichika-Tron pulls off a beautiful awkward smile!

Okay, Saika-Tron is slowly creeping into my love meter... keep it up, Dead-eyes!

... Wait, doesn't she look a bit like Katsuta Rina!? Except her expression is a little more varied, eyes a tad deader? Holy cripes!

Holy fuck, Saika-Tron winked! This calls for love!

I FUCKIN' LOVE SAIKA-TRON NOW!

Wait, why does Rina-Tron look like an exceptionally cute imp in this scene!?

WAIT, IS RINA-TRON AN IMP!?

Saika-Tron... the fuck are you doing, you deluded creep? XD

Wait... YOU HAS A SOUL!? No one without a soul could be this silly and express such joy at being weird! Whoa...

Oh wait, you've returned to the dead-eyed expression of a Tron without her soul. Never mind~

Please don't suck my life out of me! EEP!

Nichika-Tron, you are so damn lovely... but I like how goofy you can look, too! It's your charm, I swear!

I love how amazing everything looks, and then we see the tacky chairs... well, not everything on Space Ship Cupitron can be extravagantly gorgeous! There's no use complaining!

Oh my little Rina-Tron, you are so adorable...

But please, don't smile like you have a Galactic Tank aiming at you. You look creepy.

My adorable little Alien, please smile... WITH FEELINGS!

Rina-Tron: "... I have come to reap your soul..."

Oh, fuck nuts...

Saika-Tron, why so sad? There is a ferris wheel behind you! Go ride the bloody thing and get happy! No one likes a sombre alien!

Surprisingly, these sparkles don't annoy me! Weird, right?

Okay, this scene looks pretty damn majestic! Let us look upon Queen Nichika-Tron, our Majestic Ruler of Galactia!!! ALL HAIL NICHIKA-TRON!!

If I had to choose one of these Aliens to be my bride, it would be this Majestic Tron. God damn, she's a beauty!

This little cutie would totally be my daughter. I'm adopting her!!!

So freakin' ADORABLE, sparkles shoot out of her smile and light up her eyes!

Cupitron: "STOP!!!"

... Hammer time?

My future Waifu Nichika-Tron looks so damn beautiful when she's having fun, don't you agree?

Rina-Tron, I love you you cute little critter, but your smile creeps me the fuck out...

HOLY FUCK, MEGATRON!? When the fuck did you get here!?

Megatron: "I've been in the background all day... I party hard on Spaceship Galactia."

Saika-Tron: "He parties with us all night long! IT'S MEGATRON!"

Well... now I know where the extensive budget on this PV went o-O

I swear, with each passing scene, I come to love Saika-Tron more and more...

She's a cute little shit, alright!?

Nichika-Tron and her non-existent eyebrows pleases me so much ;^;

Megatron: "Look, I do the Robot!"

Rina-Tron: "Not again, Megatron!"

Jesus Cripes, you are too freakin' ADORABLE! Have I told you that yet today!?

You're so fucking lovely to look at.

Cupitron gettin' down with their homey, Megatron! These girls really know how to party with the big shots!

This PV would clearly not be complete without a solo Megatron cameo-shot, so c'mon, Megatron, don't be shy!!!

Megatron: "I don't like photos..."

Awww yeah, my little critter, Rina-Tron, front and center! ROCK THE CENTER, MINI ONE!

Rina-Tron; "And may I present to you, my bitches."

Rina-Tron: "Megatron, I think you've had too much sake..."

Megatron: "But Megatron LIKE SAKE!!!"

Nichika-Tron: "... Well, shit..."

No one parties harder than Megatron!

Okay, when this girl puts emotion into her expression, she is helluva cute, adorable and drop damn beautiful! Gurl, let that smile reach your eyes more, it's becoming of you!

Nichika-Tron: "I'm aeat the camera!... Nah, I'm just shitting with ya!"

Random, fun-loving Goofball Nichika-Tron is my favourite version of her of all time.

Rina-Tron: "Aw shit, gotta fix me hair..."

Hell, even Tank-to-the-head smiling Rina-Tron is adorable to boot! I just want to hug this girl and feed her oreos all day long, because yes, she looks like an oreo's dipped in milk kinda gal.

Want a cookie, sweetie?

Rina-Tron: "I'll bite your hand off and dip it in milk."

Yowch. Touchy. Still Helluva adorable, though

Saika-Tron: "Say hello to my little friends!"

Presenting: CUPITRON! Baddest Galactic Aliens on planet Adorable! Their cuteness will surely be our undoing!

God-damn, she is a beauty! How did I ever doubt your powers of loveliness during the beginning of the video?

... Wait, did she soulless gaze mesmirise me!? NOOOOOO!!!

But hey, damn, this girl. THIS GIRL! She is fuckin' beautiful.

Marry me!

Yeah, you're just perfect. I have no other words to say than; PERFECT. ADORABLE. FUCKING CUTE CRITTERS. LOVELY AS FUCK.

Saika-Tron is on-point and our little critter of adorable evil is so damn cute it's not even funny. And then we have the goofball.

You're doing an elegant knee hike, Nichika-Tron, not hoisting up a sack of flour or kneeing a creep in the nuts. The fuck you doin', gurl!?

I'm questioning whether or not that is product placement I see in the background... hmmm... -peers-

Dat hair, tho.

... And then the imp just looks so impishly cute running. D'awwwww!

God damnit, they are adorable! Especially when they point up in the air as if they have Unicorn horns. So. Freakin'. ADORABLE!!!

Holy shit, multiple Cupitrons! This is even better than an army of multiple Rina-Trons in all their cute, adorably impish forms! GAH, the cuteness is far too much!

Is this how the world ends? We become overrun and, eventually, corrupted by cuteness? I would not be surprised.

And we essentially end where we begin, except she's looking down.

Wait... did she shut down!? Has Space Ship Galactica denied her!? NOOOOO, Saika-Tron! Don't shut down!!! NOOOOO!!!!

... Oh would ya lookit that, we've finished! But didn't we already see the title sequence!?

If you were expecting Unicorns and Parades, then you might have been disappointed after finishing this PV. I, however, was not disappointed. In fact, I was very much captivated. This PV seriously impressed me, and now I have fallen in love with this song.

This is what Cupitron has done to me.

Honestly speaking, I did not expect to like Cupitron; I thought that the group would bore me and provide another run-of-the-mill techno group layout that was bland and just... well, far too much like Perfume for my liking, but a lot cuter and a lot more predictable. These girls were not predictable, because whilst I expected something techno, I did not expect a very well done PV that clearly has a lot of thought put into it, and above all, very well-shot sequences that are visually enticing and overly addictive to watch.

I'm being serious here - I am addicted to this PV. The amount of times I have viewed it just to look at the sequences and the editing techniques is not even funny. For me, a videophile who loves to dissect what she watches, this is an editing dream and it's a bloody debut MV! Kiss Point Records only have two groups now, and already they have very powerful editing masters behind the computers, creating amazing shit like this! How the heck did that happen!? Oh wait, the company's under Nichion Inc; no wonder

Okay, so maybe I'm laying it a little thick with the praise for Cupitron, but I'm being honest here; the editing is impressive, especially from a debut PV for such a small group that is only starting out, and the scene layout of the PV is dazzling to look at. Visually it's pretty remarkable because it gives you a little bit of everything: colour, light, various effects, overlays, mirroring sequences... there's a lot to take in, plenty of things to admire and notice, and each time I watch it, it's fun to find something new! This could have been one giant cluster-fuck that was messy and over the top, but when I watch Cupitron's Unicorn Parade, I see some form of balance; it's never really too much, and yet there is still a lot to look at to keep it interesting.

It's not boring, and whilst it has no set story-line, none at all, it's still eye-catching and keeps you invested with each scene. I'm impressed by it, one would care to guess.

I love how this PV works, to put it simply. I love how vibrant it is one minute, and then another scene in we're in a completely different environment where the girls are running in slow-motion with a lower contrast to set the tone. I love the fast pacing of the Kaleidoscope scenes and the rushing scopes of the roads ahead, as if we're running and watching the city go by ourselves. Everything that goes on here is fun to watch and figure out, and honestly, I have yet to become bored of Unicorn Parade's PV! It's fun, and I find it pretty incredible to look at!

For any regular viewer who does not have my weird affliction for the inner workings of PV's, this is genuinely a wonderful music video to indulge in. It doesn't have a great plot like an AKS PV does, but it doesn't have a stagnant look to its style like Hello! Project's older PV's did either. Visually, it's addicting to watch because there is so much going on, so you have a lot to look out for. Also, there are pretty damn adorable girls in the video as well!

If you're not one for mise-en scĂ©ne like I am, then definitely check Unicorn Parade out for the girls, because they themselves are wonderful to watch and just as addictive as the layout of the video! Honestly, when I first watched the video, I had very little interest in either Saika or Nichika, but after finishing the video I found something to adore about them both. As a whole, Cupitron is a group of girls who are adorable yet talented together, but individually they have varying expressions and ways of standing out that is amazing to look out for when you watch them in action. Take Nichika, for example; she has quirks about her that intrigue me more than the other girls when she's dancing - she looks involved with the song, and thus I want to involve myself in watching her more. It's the same with Rina, she seems to shine when she's dancing, and this I am looking out for more. Saika, however, seems to really stand out when she's doing solo scenes; she knows how to work the camera, though even when center for the dance sequences, she's eye-catching. No matter what though, there is something about these girls, and every time I watch this video I am captured by their charm and chemistry with the camera.

For a bunch of newbies, I am actually incredibly surprised by how well trained they are! I feel spoiled with their level of profession already!

Whatever the reason it is you are looking for to watch this PV, if you have yet to view it, I say take a look! It's appealing, and for me it is addictive, so take some time to take a look and have fun with the video! There are cute girls, amazing visuals and a fun song all thrown together in one 4 minute and 30 seconds video, so barely any time wasted, really!

I gave Unicorn Parade a chance with the idea that I would be bored, but I was sorely mistaken. I'm happy I watched it, I am happy that a chance was given and, ultimately, I am happy that I have found a group that has given me the desire to invest more time in them as well as the want to write about them. They are worth it, so I do urge you all to check them out.

There's still hope for me to love Perfume yet!

All aboard, Space Ship Galactica! Are you ready for an adventure with Cupitron?

Have fun with it, and take care~

Chiima~
