[PV Selection] June 2016

The fact I'm posting this so soon after the [Music Selection] piece for June 2016 is truly a blessing, because last month, May's came at the very end of June, which is not good. That said, I had no internet... so that's the excuse I'm rolling with. Yeeeeah!

As per the usual, [Music / PV Selection] is the current monthly segment I am doing in order to keep up to date with music and PV's from the months gone by. It allows me to watch videos and listen to songs from a variety of singers and groups, and to expand on my music taste, whilst also allowing me to create a mini-archive of sorts ready for the End of the Year, where I pit PV's and songs against one another, battling for 'The Favourite', if you will.

It's like the Hunger Games of the Idol world, except a lot less brutal, and a lot more specific to my tastes.

Right now we're going to look at the month of June, and see what videos have appealed to and stood out for me as a viewer. Will there be anything here to peak your intrigue, or will they just fall flat? Let's take a gander, and watch some Idols sing and dance! Ready... GO!!!

[Music Selection] May 2016: PV Side

My damn timing is completely out of whack. Let's blame no internet, crappy library internet (it's internet, at least), packing / moving and being ill. So, if this isn't as lengthy as usual, I apologise. Is what it is.

This PV Selection post for the month of May is going to be a lot snappier than usual, so don't expect me to drone on with the PV descriptions. I am literally gonna leave what was in my head at the time, and hey, I might keep it that way for the future PV Selection posts! I actually enjoy not giving too much away sometimes, and how quick my thought process is upon my first view of a video. So, yeah, it might stay this way, it might not. We shall seeeeeeee!

Anywhoo... Music Selection is a monthly post, in which I create two separate articles about the Music and Videos I have enjoyed from the month gone by. This is of course all for fun, and if something is not listed here that you have enjoyed yourself, do not fret; this is not a serious release at all, just something made for the heck of it, and to keep on top of Idol releases. Don't read too much into whatever I post. Opinions be different from every which way, y'know.

[Music Selection] April 2016: PV Side

Now that a few essays are out of the way and I have some time to actually breathe, I thought it wise to actually get on with the PV part to my Music Selection of May... so, here we go!

As stated in every other post, the idea behind Music Selection is that it is a monthly series in which I share my favourite music and videos from the month that has generally gone by. I give my thoughts and feelings on what is shared - generally in lengthy sentences, because that's how I roll - and hope to bring you something new and different to watch, and also to potentially allow myself and others to find new groups and music to follow or listen to!

It's a fun little series that enables me to keep in touch with the Japanese music scene, as well as gives me something to look back to at the end of the year for my Music and PV Awards (haha, ulterior motives!). It also means I can post something at least twice a month now, because we know how well I procrastinate!

And just so you are aware, all opinions and thoughts stated within this post are my own, and I do not expect you to agree with me or even like the songs and videos posted. We all have our own opinions, and we should share and express them (though no hate or death wishes, thanks!). That is all~

On a final note, I will now be posting the Music Side and PV Side to these posts separately, for the ease of it all, and also because I tend to post a lot of PV's, so everything can get a little laggy. Also... it ups my post count, another reason as to why I'm doing this, muahaha!

Okay, enough talking, more PV's! Let's take a lot at what April graced us with visually, and see if there is anything in there that you have enjoyed too, or something new that might grab your attention...

[Music Selection] March '16: PV Side

*This is Part 2 in my March Selection series. Due to finding so many PV's delightfully entertaining, I felt it best to break the pots apart for a Music Side and PV Side, respectively. Thank you for your understanding.

Music Selection is a series of monthly posts in which I list the Music and Videos I have enjoyed from the month gone by, including songs thats I have may have enjoyed from months or years prior to the one mentioned. Included will be some spiel as to why I have chosen the songs or MV's, just so y'all know what I liked about it, and what not. This is to give you an idea of what has been released in the Idol world, and to pique your interest in groups you may not have thought to look at yet, or did not even know existed until now.

As per, everything written and mentioned here is subject to opinion and taste, so if something you have enjoyed has not been listed here, do not fret; it just so happened it was not my cuppa tea. I also do not expect you to take my word as the Holy Grail, or something of that nature. I am simply listing and suggesting, and also hoping you all share your favourite songs and MV's of the month with me, too!

This is simply a series made for fun and happiness, and to share with you all what I have enjoyed! It's supposed to be a little bit positive, and to be shared! I can't always be a negative ninny, you know!
