Because Management like to F*** Things Up... [Sexy Zone Rant Time!]

THIS IS A RANT! ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK! CAST AWAY ALL RATIONALITY, FOR THIS. IS. SPARTA!!!! Thanks~

Fuck you, JE. FUUUUUCK YOU!

Promising start already, I see

Hello everyone. Today, I want you all to meet Sexy Zone, one of the few boy groups that I actually follow and like, possibly even love to a certain degree. They are a rather fun group, very young and energetic and cheesy to a T. Basically, they are all lovable fools who charmed me. I rather like them.

What I don't like is what management does with these five kids. I mean, I know it's commonplace in Idol groups for some members to be left in the dark in favour of others (look at AKB48, Morning Musume, Houkago Princess... you catch my drift) but sometimes, JE management really takes the cake with Sexy Zone. As in, they take it then eat it in front of starving children.

Simply put, they are dicks.

Thing is I can usually forgive shoddy management because I know this is how it generally works in the world of Idols and entertainment, it even happens here sometimes if you have a big enough group; the popular members are the ones they push, after all, and I completely get that. I suck it up and accept it. Well, I can't accept the bullshit that's been pulled this time, because, for fucks sake, Management have really fucking done it now.

For the groups up-coming single, Marius Yo and Matsushima Sou will not be a part of the lineup.

They have not graduated. No, they are simply 'sitting this one out', and the three Leading Ladies, the ones Management care about basically, because some stupid twit thinks it will help the group in a way. Something idiotic like that, I suspect.

And yes, I am fucking pissed. I mean, why the fuckity fuck would you DO this?

Do you know how much it fucking KILLED ME to edit this image? I almost cried, but apparently this is a fucking accurate image for JE's management; this is what they want, those fuck wits.
Okay, we know I like SZ. We know I see Marius as my son for some reason, and that I just genuinely like this group despite all the shit about it that could make me hate it, most of that shit being the Management basically treating Sou and Marius as the Damsels in Distress who can't do anything except be saved by the Big Three. I'm not the biggest fan of them, but I am a fan no matter what, so I am rather annoyed by what is happening here. In fact, even a few none-fans of the group are probably shocked by this sudden turn of events, it's so... stupid.

It honestly makes me wish that Marius and Sou would just leave the group, because they don't deserve the crap they get in Sexy Zone. Yes, favour certain members over others, that's nothing new, but don't just take the members you don't care about out because it will make for some giggles on your behalf. Don't you realise that we, the fans, even the fans who don't always buy the singles me are not going to let this fucking fly?

WE DON'T LIKE THIS SHIT, YO.

It's crap like this that makes me want to boycott SZ, and believe me, there have been many other times I felt like boycotting the group because of the Damsel in Distress treatment Marius and Sou have gone through beforehand, but fuck, I really want to boycott them this time. In fact, I mentioned on Twitter that this treatment of Sexy Zone's two toddlers makes me want to boycott the whole of JE in general, though I won't do that; I'm mad but I'm not that bitchy to do that. Arashi or Kiss-My-Feet don't deserve that, even if I don't follow them that much. Still.

FUCK YOU, JE MANAGEMENT!!!

Obviously I'm hell-bent on hating people right now, more specifically some witch named Iijima who is apparently behind this, but really... why do this to two boys who are barely featured anyway unless it's backstage or in a drama? Marius and Sou don't deserve this!

I love Sexy Zone, but stuff like this... well, it makes me want to boycott them because I feel like I'm just in a constant spiral of PAIN! And yeah, I'm not the only one. I've just finished up reading Airi's own rant on Genki Pika Pika!, which pretty much mirrors my feels on the whole debacle with SZ right now... so I'm not the only one, gladly. And as Airi mentioned in her post, I've talked about it on Facebook, and a girly rant was conducted with many annoyed Fangirls... okay, three annoyed fangirls, BUT STILL!!!!

Okay, I'm done. I'm going to eat some cheese and relax, or something. I just need... to keep away from Sexy Zone for a while.

But yeah, ripping my hair out here, blowing up like a Volcano as I do so.

Grab Your Pitch Forks, Airi's now a Whore!!! BURN THE WITCH!!! [RANT TIME!!!!]

Pleas take into consideration that these are my thoughts, and I am going to get emotional. It's a rant; expect me to be a bit of a bitch here.

If you want a more logical, well-thought out read, and not a rant, please check this link:

Also, the Blog translation of Airi's apology post, thanks to Takamaruyo forums:

Erm... What the Fresh Hell did I come home to? Seriously, what the damn Hell?

Okay, let me clear a bit up first; a few days ago, a picture was posted on Facebook somewhere showing Suzuki Airi, the back of her head to be exact, sitting beside a guy on a bus. Yeah, that was pretty much it, and for a few days nothing else was said.

... Well, that was until Airi posted on her blog apologising for what had happened, and telling her fans that they were nothing ore than acquaintances. So now it's a scandal.

... The. Fuck?

Okay, are we being completely bloody serious here? She sits next to a guy, on her way home from classes, and someone tweets, instagrams or whatever the hell they do with images nowadays, and it is a scandal? Because she conversed with someone, made a friend in class, and sat beside them? Really, now? REALLY? This is so fucking stupid, I can't even...

Oh wait, I'm sorry, I'm being too irrational right now, aren't I? Sorry for over-fucking-reacting to the situation we are in. I forgot that Idols aren't allowed to breathe the same air as the opposite gender unless they are a Wota and have that 'privilege'. Oh well, too bad, she's sullied goods now. Pack your bags, Airi, you're going home. We don't want you in C-ute, now. Whore. Harlet.

... Okay, that one was a bit over the top, but you know what I mean. Yes, okay there is a little more to it (apparently), such as how she has messaged him on her blog and such, and that she meets up with him... but seriously, who cares? Okay, no dating, I get it, but if she is friends with him, then really... who cares, and what can we do? I know that Airi, as an Idol, has rules to follow, and has an image and reputation to uphold, but sometimes I do feel like the Wota take this sort of shit out of hand and make a mountain out of a mole hill, all because their 'pwecious Idol' breathed the same air as another human being who she shares a class with in University.

Seriously... When the hell did this:

Turn into this?

... URGH!!!

This, to me, is really stupid. I find it incredibly baffling and idiotic beyond belief that Airi sitting next to a guy, conversing with him and such, can cause such an uproar, to the point where Airi has to apologise for sitting beside someone. It is incredibly ridiculous, and it really riles me up. If it didn't, I would not be writing this post.

I know that my energy on getting riled up about this is pointless here, but I really did need to get it across, in my own way. Airi, as an Idol, especially one of her status in H!P, will always be subject to these sorts of things; people will deliberately try to get her into trouble because they can and they might find it funny, or because someone is jealous or something, but I do honestly find it stupid that this is being labelled as a scandal for the pure fact that she sat next to the guy. What next? Will her fans burn her photos when she talks to her father or brother, because they are, gasp, male? Either way, this is ridiculous, and it just makes me wonder about how stupid the no-dating rule is as a whole now, and how ridiculous some fans (not all, some) can be.

... But, if she really did get into a scandal, then what? This is not AKB48 we are talking about, but H!P and UFP; they have a very different way of playing that field whenever a member of theirs is caught up in a scandal; they will either ignore it, like they tried to with Miki (she just left) and Miyabi, or they would totally boot Airi out and shun her from the public eye (like Mari right now).

Again, I find all of this commotion over Airi sitting next to a guy who she apparently converses with quite a bit pretty fucking stupid and unbelievable, and yes, I know... I am adding my own timber and fuel to the damn fire by making this post, but seriously, I wanted to rant and express how idiotic I think all of this. Seriously... she isn't pregnant through touching his arm or breathing in his deathly 'human male' spores, she just sat next to the guy!

But nope, she's a whore, clearly. She's a whore because she is social in her University class, and made a friend. And if he is more than that? Well, what do I care? What we don't know doesn't hurt us!

Ya never know though, if this guy takes pictures of her topless and sends them to Friday, she may become super popular and the next MoBeKiSuJ song, if it ever happens, will be a parade dedicated to her with Airi as the front and centre.

... Yeah, that's all I gotta say. Rant over, I'm sleepy now. Night y'all!

Chiima~

One Random Rant Post - WARNING: Comes with Bad Editing Skills provided by UFP

This is a pretty quick post, one that should really be in the Digest section of things but I want it here cos'... I just do. Anyways...

(Dead video, URGH)

A preview for Morning Musume's song, which will be on their next single (sadly, I hope it isn't the effing A-side...) titled Kimi Sae Ireba nani mo Iranai has been leaked, so we can all watch and, er... enjoy I guess.

Now this is only a preview, so whatever I say you can totally ignore and pretend I never even said it, but from the preview I know this; the song bores the crap out of, those costumes are hideous and I pray that this is the second A-side to what we all think will be a double A-side, because so far, I feel that it sucks.

It's too high; I don't want the Winking Squirrel to literally go out on a High note with her graduation single; she sounds bad ass in Brainstorming, and I want to keep it that way... then again, that's just me. We all have different views on Winky.

Luckily enough (or not) this is only a preview, so hopefully the full song and PV will be better? Here's hoping.

Also, as many others have said; those costumes are from Pepper Keibu. I also had a strange Ambitious! Yashitenki de Ii Jan vibe when I first watched this preview. The thing is, Yashitenki is pretty good.

Also; Say hi to the One Two Three curtains again... or at least the cousin of the One Two Three Curtains.

Really though, all I can do right now is hope, pray, cross my fingers and toes and possibly even meditate to the Gods and Lord Gaki herself that this PV will have a little bit of interest in it, and not just those eyesore dresses and Reina's Squirrel voice...

Hell, even Sakura sounds terrible in it; it is THAT BAD!!!

And then there is this... My GOD...

When I saw that the intro was posted to youtube for the CC concert, I was happy; I wanted to see how everyone was introduced and how they had done the opening scene. Despite the tacky costumes they had I did anticipate it.

... What did we get?

BAD EFFING PHOTOSHOP!!!

Holy Gaki and Takahashi Ai as well, what the HELL was UFP thinking when they saw this pictures? I bet it was 'A hurr durr HUUUR YEAH SO GOOD, HUUR!' because seriously, if that picture came through my e-mail inbox and I was asked to evaluate it I would say 'FIRE this editor, they clearly do not know how to use Photoshop.' HELL, even I can do a better job than they can... In fact, all Idol bloggers can do a better job than professional editors (or as professional UFP can get) when it comes to photoshop, I mean come on... LOOK AT IT!!!

Haruna's fucking ear has been bitten off!!! Do you know what that is? That's a slip up on Photoshop, where you accidentally go astray and think 'fuck', then thank whoever made Photoshop or computers for providing the 'undo' button. Do you know what this editor did? They didn't do that, possibly because they had been doing the erasing all in one go. Well buddy, guess what I do when that happens? COPY AND PASTE THE EAR!!!

And it happened again, but to Sayu's leg/boot. WHAT. THE. HELL! Did Reina get hungry and start gnawing on her or something?

Not impressed
And look at the state of Eripon's HAIR!!! My God... Heck, I can even see white around her arms that was not erased properly,,,

Even in the video you can see how jagged the girls' bodies are from the terrible job that the editors have done. Seriously, we thought the covers were bad; this is worse.

This is shit. Please, fire these editors and get, oh I don't know... DECENT ONES!!!

... It's weird how this rant post is related to photoshop skills, but seriously, NO!!!! You do not do this to a group, no matter how cheap and/or dirt poor you are!!!! ARRRGH!!!

Right, where's my gun? I need to go and visit UFP and get rid of some editors...

[RANT TIME] Chickens > Lemon Wedge

So many of you are going to hate me for this, but honestly, I need to get this off my chest, and get it off my chest I will...

I need to rant... I really really need to rant, because frustration is really heating up inside me now, and not just with this group but another group as well... but this needs to be written, to be heard so that I can be a bitch!

ARGH!!!

So, there is this Lemon song on AKB48's latest single, Eien Pressure. The single itself is one huge disappointment, with very little quality to it at all which makes me genuinely love the single, but right now I am talking about this song, the Lemon Wedge song... the tie-in that these girls have with this Lemon dude. Yeah, well... I heard the song before I actually tuned into the PV, but I already knew what their costumes looked like, and honestly, I thought that they looked similar to Morning Musume's Pyoko Pyoko Ultra outfits, but because it was a tie-in, I put it to the back of my mind. No way was AKB copying MoMusu, right?

Hahahahahaha...

Er... wow? What the fuck-a-doodle-doo am I looking at? Why is it so familiar...

My fucking GOD!

Am I seeing things? Am I really seeing this, or am I just so high on Irn Bru that I have begun to hallucinate, because my lord, the Limited D cover to AKB48's Eien Pressure looks just like the Limited C to Pyoko Pyoko Ultra, except with uglier costumes, a different background colour, less creative poses and some creepy ass dude's face in the centre.

Am I actually seeing this!?

...

You know what, guys? I told myself this after Pyoko was released (and probably said it somewhere else, but who knows, cares or whatever) that if AKB48 were ever to pull off this kind of stunt, people would praise it, they would pay cash happily for it, because AKB48 did it. Whilst a shit ton of people dissed MoMusu for taking a new (childish, though more creative) direction with chickens, stated that the song was crap because of the costumes, I felt that if AKB48 were to do it (like they did with veggies) nobody would complain.

Well, I fucking called it by accident, didn't I? Because at the beginning of the year, MoMusu bring out one of their most creative, childish and original songs, and at the end of the year AKB give us a piece of Lemon Wedge that looks similar in costume and single cover?

My god, I hate myself for calling it without knowing... URGH!!!!

IT'S SO FREAKING SIMILAR IN COSTUME IT IS NOT EVEN FUNNY!!!

And don't get me started on the mother-fucking Lucky Cha Cha Cha! layout OR similar overalls/dance costumes, because bitch please, I know similar shit when I see it

Bitches be stealin' our style!
I actually don't understand how no one is ripping this one apart (unless they are, and if you know where, please link me), because whilst the similarities end at the costumes and overly similar CD covers, it's pretty apparent that Morning Musume have the creative and original upper hand here! Their video is so much better to watch, there is more to look at, and their song sounds so new and fresh and genki awesome spectacular, whilst AKB48 sound the same. This song is basically Eien Pressure on a candy high, except that it gets too boring too quickly and too familiar all to suddenly. Their costumes are also ugly! I mean those damn lemon heads, the hell!? At least MoMusu looked adorable whilst looking like idiots running around, because with AKB they just look like idiots.

I'm pissed off because MoMusu got so much shit and slander for Pyoko, but AKB are probably being praised for their diversity.

Well, after the sudden breakthrough in Electro Idol that is Uza, courtesy of Morning Musume starting this electro tend, it seems that Aki-P still enjoys borrowing idea's from Tsunku, because this is too similar for thought, though MoMusu have the better PV, the better song and the better costumes.

Pyoko's bloody gorgeous in comparison to... THIS lemon wedge thing. Enough said! PRAISE THE LORD FOR CUTENESS!!!

And So Sashihara Rino is Shafted in her own Single... (Rant time)

Let's talk about something... interesting here, regarding Sashihara Rino and her new solo single, out on October 17th and titled Ikujinashi Masquerade. This will be her second solo single, right? The one right after her scandal and after being transferred to HKT48.

A PV in which she is not the centre!

Seriously, what. the. hell?

I'm sorry but... huh, what, why? WHEN, HOW, WHO?

Whilst I am all for boosting other members in a group (it worked in Mayuyu's twintail PV where she promoted Nogizaka46 and made them look a little bit interesting) and promoting people, I don't really think it's appropriate to shaft the soloist in favour of someone else. HELL, the girl is even put to the back in one of the single covers, her solo single and she is in the back. THE HELL?

Okay, I get it - she had a scandal, she made a mistake and she has to make up for it, but honestly, this? This is just plain bitchy in my eyes! Not only does she have the fans on her back now, some hating her, few still supporting her, she also has to deal with becoming a leader figure to HKT as well as dealing with the fact that all she had is gone. And now this. She is being shafted in her own solo single, and that is just plain fucking horrible, in my eyes.

It isn't just in the PV preview, hell, it's even in the live performance, and you can bet that the focus is on the girl, Kawaei Rina. Now, nothing against the girl herself - I'm happy that some random AKB members are actually being shown off, but seriously, THIS IS SASSHI'S SINGLE! Or haven't I said that enough yet?

Maybe I am butt hurt, or maybe I am just plain old pissed off, but seriously, this is not even fair! Even Rino doesn't seem happy about this turn of events, well, at least that's what her face tells me at the end of the live performance. It's just... it's unjust I think.

Rino has had her fall from grace, and sadly, they are still punishing her for it. Honestly... I actually wish that she didn't get a solo single now, because it's just horrible seeing her being treated like she is now nothing.

And from comments on youtube - it's pretty apparent that the girls in the video are indeed to boost sales, but it's still horrible. If they do just so happen to bring out a Sasshi centre version, by the way, yay and all, but still... the live version proves otherwise.

This is a pissed off Chiima, who knows this is her opinion and that people may not agree with me, and even take a dig at me and say I am in the wrong or something, but honestly... I feel really unhappy about this, and I am not pissed off with the girls - it's management.

I feel bad for Sasshi, and this PV/dance just proves that management are still going to be dicks about everything and even take away her spotlight in her own PV.

Sales + Popularity Make the Idol World Go Round, Hard Work only Plays a Part in that... RANT!

There is one thing (actually there are many things) which honestly pisses me off about International fans, and it is the general misconception that:
"omg I hate her so much! Why does she get all these lines when my favorite doesn't! It's not fair and blah blah blah!" it IS fair. I'll tell you why. The ones who get those lines, deserve those lines. They've worked their asses off to get to where they are!!!"
... And I'm being bluntly honest when I say that I found this on my facebook wall, on a H!P fans post, for the fandom to see. Okay, props to the girl for sticking up for Oda Sakura in the post, and I liked most of what she said... until this part turned up! There are so many things wrong with it I can't even...

Okay, guess what time it is? Yeah, I'm going to rant because I've seen this far too many times now to leave it. I've raved on Facebook about it, I've raved to a friend about it, and now, my darling readers, it is YOUR turn! Crank up Lalala no Bibibi, get yourselves comfortable with a mug of cocoa or something, and feel the rage!!!

Firstly, let me say this: I speak for MYSELF and ONLY MYSELF! No one else is included in this post, just me, and if you think or feel differently, kudos to you, but this is how feel. I don't aim to drag anyone else's opinion into this post... I hope. That statement above may contradict me on this, cos' that is something I found on FB, so that quote? Not my own words!

So, that said, what the hell is so wrong with this statement? Er, well try the fact that it basically claims that only the girls who get a lot of lines in a single, in any Idol group or group in general are the hard workers, and therefore, they are the only girls who deserve said lines and get to have the front line in the group, therefore also meaning that the girls in the back, the ones who get barely any lines are not hard workers?

Er... NO! Where is the logic in that? As far as I remember, ALL the girls in any group that I know of work f****ing hard, regardless of where they stand in the group. Backing dancers, lead singers, the personalities or pretty girls in a group, they all work their asses off because they want to improve, they WANT to get better and to build up their fandoms, regardless of how unpopular they may be! Regardless of their improvement, regardless of their fanbase, they are STILL in the back, even though they work just as hard as the centre girl or the person you claim works 'the hardest'. Not just one, not just two, not just the leads, but ALL girls work hard for their group. Why? Because they want to! If they didn't, they wouldn't be there, would they?

Not all of these girls are handed popularity on a platter, you know? Some girls are given it to them. Koharu, for example, and Reina is the greatest example I can give you all because that popularity is still there - it is their popularity which grants these girls lines and time to shine! What, so Sayu didn't work as hard as she does now when she was younger? I bet that girl worked her ass off because she wanted to improve to get to the level that Miki, Reina and Eri were at, and yet she didn't get recognition until later on in her Idol career, and even then she didn't get lines because her generation peers were far more popular than she was.

Okai Chisato worked hard, too - it wasn't until she hit puberty, and when a load of C-ute members graduated and gave everyone less girls to look at, that she became popular. It didn't matter how good she was at singing, or how funny she could be, it all came down to the fact that in the beginning she was not popular. But despite her lack of popularity, do you know what this girl did? She worked her butt off to improve, to do her best for her group and to try and gain fans, and guess what? It eventually payed off, she's freakin' popular now, she gets spotlight and plenty of lines, but it sure as hell didn't start off like that like it did for Airi or Maimi.

The bottom line is, no matter how good looking you are, or how good your voice is, it all comes down to SALES and POPULARITY. If the fans want you, love you and buy your goods, then there's that sure chance that you will be a lead, as long as you have a good majority of the fans following you. No matter what, an unpopular girl can't outshine a popular one, no matter how much better she is at singing or dancing, because that girl has the upper hand in her popularity. All these Idols do is work hard and enjoy their job, aiming t improve and hoping to gain new fans, but even if they aren't popular, you can be sure that these girls love being an Idol because it is what they have always wanted to do - I don't recall Aika ever hating the fact that she wasn't popular, because that girl adored her freakin' fans and cherished every one of them, and that goes for every girl in an Idol group! They love their fans, they work hard for their fans - ALL OF THEM - and they strive to improve for their fans and their group.

Summing it all up, no matter what, every girl works hard. Not the just the front girls, all of them! Ayumi wouldn't have become such an amazing dancer if she didn't work hard just because she was a backing dancer for Dorothy Little Happy. In the end, popularity wins, and that girl is at the front because she is popular. It doesn't mean that the girls in the back work less, and it certainly does not mean that the girls in the front work a lot harder. EVERYONE works hard, so excuse me for hating it when people say that certain members work harder than others.

Apologies for any repetition, but I needed to rant, to let off steam and to basically yell at the blog. My sister also had to listen to me through this because she walked in halfway through the creation of this post.

PREACH!

Nogizaka46 continue to Fuel my Dislike with Hashire! Bicycle's PV (Rant)

My opinions are indeed my own, and you may not agree with me, but that is how life works. In the end, this is my blog and this is where I post my opinions. Thank you.

I swear, I'm never going to be happy with Nogizaka46. No matter what, I am somehow disappointed with their A-sides. They will either bring out a crap song with an equally crap PV, or they will finally bring out a good song, but the PV will turn me off of the entire song anyway.

For crying out loud, NG46, when will you do something right for me?

I mean, I'm not complaining about the song that much - for once, Nogizaka have released a decent bloody song, but the PV... it's just horrible in my opinion. I can see a lot of other people liking it, but I don't! The glasses, those horrible wigs - what the hell? What were the directors thinking when they decided how they would present a decent song in a video? I was hoping for, oh I don't know, BICYCLES? Not bob wigs, chic glasses and retro style clothing or backgrounds.

Oh boy, don't get me started on those damn wigs...

For one, they don't suit all of the girls - some, yeah, but the others look plain stupid with them on. Then the costumes... the first set, where the girls don't wear horrid wigs (thank lord) remind me of Clown costumes that someone dunked glitter over, and the second set are something I just... well, I don't like them, but they aren't the worst the girls have ever had. Either way, these two sets of costumes just continue to fuel my belief that Nogizaka46 are forever doomed to get the horrible scraps for costumes that AKB48 won't ever have.

Honestly, I was so hyped up for this PV after hearing the song. I thought 'who cares about the shitty costumes? They finally sound decent!' and was so happy to finally find something to like about them, but then... well, this happened! This atrocity of a PV came into existence, and I just couldn't help but dislike the PV because I just... yeah, I hate it. It's disappointing, I don't like the costumes, I hate the lack of plot or story, I hate that they wear wigs that don't suit them and I don't like the annoying pink hue that surrounds the entire video.

The only redeeming quality of the entire video are actually the scenes where the girls are still, eating ice cream and looking cute - why don't we have more of those scenes, because they look like the only scenes that got a budget, but we sadly only see a few seconds or minutes of them during the entire video. WHY is most of it shitty dance scenes?

Aki P, we know you have the bloody money to create good music and good videos for this group, and yet you don't use it. You just continue to give them shit quality videos and shitty A-side's. Where is your creativity? You can give us something better than this Baby! Baby! Baby! dance shot/retro-feel rehash (Baby! Baby! Baby! is better though... by fucking far)

You know what? The day that this group does bring out something decent, something better than what even AKB have done, I might just have a heart attack, because this group is an absolute bore and a disappointment.

The only thing they have recently done right is that Twintail song with Mayuyu, and that's only because Mayuyu was in it, I'm sure.

So much for a bloody Rival Group.

Where's My Pony?

Heat of the moment PV Overview... er, I mean dance shot.

Okay, so I'm fucking tired but my sister came over all excited, woke me up and told me that the Dance shot ver. of One・Two・Three was uploaded onto Morning Musume's youtube channel. Oh Yipp-fucking-ee.

As you can tell, I am in no mood to really give two hoots about this song (still) - though it was recently battling for dominance in my head with Chou HAPPY Song, but of course for the Berikyuu awesomeness won. But yeah... it sounds a lot better cos' the quality is good, but dance shots do nothing for me at all - give me a real PV and then I might start caring, but with the way this single is heading, I'm probably not gonna buy it... (I will though, cos I promised myself to buy any single that 9th Gen/Zukkini is in).

Anyway, Pro's...

One: Eripon Centre - Thank you!
Two: Riho's wearing Hooker Red - This means I can bitch about hookerness in the PV Review
Three: Said PV Review will hopefully be done drunk... and Baby Predator's a better dancer than Riho.

Con's:

One: Where the fuck is Zukkini?
Two: Why the fuck is Sayummy in the back?
Three: Where the fuck is my pony Zukkini?

Seriously UFA, are you shitting me? Why the fuck is Sayumi put in the back and traded in for Baby Predator, the Shrieking Child (who does particularly well on whoa-whoa's - then again, she's auto-tuned, so meh) and... er, yeah, that's it. For fucks sake, UFA, I want to kick you all. Sayumi's the mother-fuckin'-Leader - choose a better fucking time to shaft her and put her in the back with Zukkini and Iikubon, kay?

This song is made of fuckin' auto-tune - At least give the spotlight to the Queen of Auto-tune, and not the mini minion in Red who needs it just as much. Hell, if it's all auto-tune - give lines to the girls who don't get them as much, it might, oh, y'know, PROMOTE THEM?

Also - Zukkini in the back, wtf?

I'm hoping that the PV and the Matenrou Show really exceed my expectations or at least help this single to appeal to me besides the costumes because this 50th single is currently really pissing me off.

Then again I'm in bitchy mood. Oh well, fuck being nice. I'm 'meh-ing' over this single and slowly beginning to hate it.

I'll be back when the real PV is out with close-ups and shit, and hopefully I'll be drinking by then.

Oh, bright spot: At the start of the video I got excited, but then Meh'd before it even got to the chorus. Truth.

...So I liked some of it for a brief moment :/

Butt-Humping in Dem Dresses! - Nogizaka46's 'Oide Shampoo' PV Rant!

This post is going to get Rant-Heavy, so if you have a strong opinion on this group, their song and their PV's, and you get offended easily by another person's rather strong opinion, then you probably shouldn't read this post. I have my opinions, and whilst I may think that they are justified, you may think differently. If you don't mind reading a bitch-rant, then proceed at your own risk~

AKB48.02 have recently released their second single, titled Hideous Dresses Part 2, I mean Oide Sampoo, whilst also rivaling the debut single of Squeak-voiced Sashihara Rino and knocking her out of first place for first day single sales. Being the follow-up single of the rather bland and crap-tastic, Guru Guru Curtain, you would expect something more from this group after having such a simple and lack-luster debut - but how does Oide Shampoo itself hold up?

Well, let's take a looksy...

I swear, this is the era of the Hideous Dresses...

Oide Shampoo is the latest release from AKB48's copy group, and whilst I was actually expecting a little more from them this time around, I am not exactly surprised with what we are given here - a lack-luster, and rather disappointing, video of the girls. Oh, and more hideous dresses - but I think that this is what we are to expect from these girls from now on. Horrible dresses, shit PV's and generic music.

... Sounds about right? :/

Butt-humping? Seriously?

Okay, maybe I'm just whining and being a bitch - but considering their first PV was pretty horrible, I really was expecting this one to be a little more interesting. Sadly, that wasn't the case here. All we are really treated to is the girls dancing, butt-humping and close-up shots... and some skirt hitching. But that's it. It is so basic - basic song, basic dance, basic formula and basic everything. There really is no highlight to this video at all other than the controversial skirt-lifting, and even then that isn't very exciting.

Really, Aki-P, you couldn't part with your cash for your biggest successes rival group? You created fucking Manatsu no Sounds Good! and RIVER! What the fuck made you think this would qualify for something Number 1 worthy!?

Actually, let's beg this question right now - How the HELL did squeaky-voiced Sashihara lose against the guys? At least her song had some personality and a pretty backdrop to go with her horrible voice!

Oh look, it's Yuko 2.0 and Mariko 2.0!

I really do wonder how the hell this song even got higher than number 25, because it's really just a basic Idol song, one that anyone could make! Okay, I admit - it's cute and catchy, but other than that, it really has no personality or any other gratifying trait to its name that makes it anywhere near decent for the Number 1 Oricon spot.

... Oh wait, they are a group created by the man who made AKB - of course really good music wouldn't touch that Number 1 spot, no matter how simple and generic the song could be... aye aye aye...

I'm going to say that the only redeeming quality about this entire PV and song is that the song is cute and catchy, and the backdrop is nice - but that is really it. The song is pretty simple, the dance is very unenthusiastic (like Guru Guru Curtain's was) and boring, the dresses are hideous, and these girls are just as dull as Maeda Atsuko is in Give Me Five!'s PV.

Even this 'controversial dance move' can't save this piece of shite

Watching this Crap-tastrophe makes me wonder what this video could have been like - given the name of the video, these girls could have been endorsing a specific brand of shampoo or having a sleepover and doing each others hair. They could have been in a hairdressers, or they could have been in a spa or dancing around bubble baths, hell, have them in the baths - it would have been more interesting than the pile of snore we have here! There could have been so many ways to make this video interesting, a way to strengthen the song. But no. No, we had to be given something so simple, so basic.

It really makes me wonder why Aki-P calls them AKB's 'rival' group, because given the songs and shit PV's they are getting, they sure aren't acting like official rivals. More like the little sisters who can't stand up to their big sister who everyone seems to like more.

Nogizaka46 have really been a disappointing group so far - if they seriously don't buck up their performances, songs, PV's and costumes, then I seriously have no hope for them. The only thing that will currently sell them is the fact that they are 'Rivals' (LOL sure) of AKB48. Let's pray for the 3rd single being semi-decent, shall we?

My Issue(s) With Line Distribution

My opinions are my own and no one else's, and whilst you may not like my opinion, get over it! As long as you respect my opinion, I will respect yours unless it is very biased with no reasoning behind it. Thank you!

Okay, so it's 2:30 am in the morning here - I was asleep, but after 2 hours of it, my body decided Fuck it - she needs to be awake! So, tomorrow I'm going to be fucking tired during the journey to the county where I am going for a mini-break. So, what better way to waste my time awake than to blog?

I have said a few times on this blog that I go on Tumblr Confession sites, where people confess their little hearts out about their favourite groups, such as Morning Musume in this case, and I found one that kind of struck a nerve with me today...

Now, before I really get really get into this post, I think that I can safely say a majority of Morning Musume fans, heck, every fan of every other group, is kind of annoyed by the poor line distribution that is set in groups. Some people get upset by it (myself included, admittedly) and some people get very angry - and it is understandable, but then there are people like the ones above, who believe that these girls aren't given lines for this reason - that they are not ready yet, and in a way, it does irk me. In fact, it irks me a lot.

Line distribution in groups is a big thing - generally, the most lines go to the popular members, regardless of vocal talent. Example A of this is, unsurprisingly, Michishige Sayumi. The girl herself knows that she can't sing well, however because of her popularity, she gets a good portion of lines in singles now (I say now), though that wasn't the case early on in her career. The same can be said for Ishikawa Rika, who's voice I don't really like, and yet she got a lot of lines during her time in Morning Musume because of how popular she was.

But there are also girls who could sing in Morning Musume that were also popular - namely Abe Natsume, Kago Ai, Takahashi Ai, Fujimoto Miki and Tanaka Reina. All of these girls are really good singers, that is a fact, and they were or are all popular in Morning Musume because of their vocal talent, and I honestly don't have an issue with this - I mean, they are the best singers, why not let them represent the group and show off their skills?

Then there are the girls who are popular, but don't get solo's, and the girls who are good singers, but also don't get lines - This is where Sayu will pop up again. Whilst Sayu is popular, she didn't necessarily get the lines she 'deserved' as a member who was popular - the same goes for Koharu Kusumi. Despite her popularity with the wota, she was kind of given the short leg with lines later on in her career as a Musume, though she was shown a lot - much like Sayumi was. It's the same with Fukumura Mizuki right now - the girl can sing, and has a good amount of popularity, however she doesn't get as many lines as fellow Jyuukie member, Sayashi Riho, who can't sing as great as Fukumura (in my opinion, think how you wish) or hold notes as well. And yet, Fukumura isn't really given much in terms of solo's. The same would go for girls like Yossie, LinLin and JunJun, who could all sing, but weren't given lines because of their popularity. The same could go for Kamei, who later got lines because she just seemed to shoot up like a daisy in the spring in terms of wota love.

And then there are the 'unpopular' members who aren't really pushed, but, improve over time. Kamei Eri, as an example, and other members like Niigaki Risa, Ogawa Makoto, Tsuji Nozomi and others. These girls don't really stand out at first, but in time become better and, if everything goes well, become even more popular and are put to the front because they are what the wota want, and can also sing really well, like Kamei Eri and right now, Niigaki Risa. This is what most people hope for with new members, like Zukki  or Masaki Satou, who are both improving greatly with their singing already.

With what this person said, and how I see it, I feel that they are wrong - they say that these new girls aren't ready yet, and yet they fail to mention that in the beginning, Riho was not a great singer, and she still has some difficulty sometimes - and yet, whilst Fukumura could sing nicely, Riho was pushed to the front because of her popularity. Singing doesn't help these girls get a lot of lines - their popularity does. Why do you think LinLin and JunJun were pushed to the back? They weren't popular, despite both being damned good singers, and were ignored for most of their careers in Morning Musume. Sad, but bloody true.

But my big issue here is that line distribution goes beyond solo's - it's all lines, not just the parts where the girls get that one line to shine. It's the rest of the lines, the shared ones outside of the 'all group' lines. It is those kinds of lines that I have a big issue with right now, because these lines can be really unfair, such as in, oh let's say... Renai Hunter?

Renai Hunter is a glaring example of this - and so is Only You. These two songs may have some strong solo's in them from the leading ladies, however, it also has poor line distribution where the rest of the girls, barring Ayumi I think, are pushed to the back and get about one or two shared lines with the other members, whilst girls like Sayumi, Riho, Reina and others get a great amount of solo's as well as shared lines. And yes, that pisses me off!

It's also the same in Kono Chikyuu and Kare to Issho, with horrible line distribution - however most of the time this crappy line distribution is made up for by good screen time, though even then not all the girls get good amounts of screen time either, and if you are a fan of these girls, the line distribution and screen time can be a little bit of a piss-take if they aren't shown or even heard much.

And it isn't just Morning Musume - as you all know, S/mileage recently took this route, considering that they now have more members.

Now, admittedly, I am on the edge with S/mileage right now - I don't like nearly all of their members, barring Kana and Akari, and a sudden liking for Dawa as well (I know, that's weird...) but lately, their line distribution, mostly solo's, funnily enough, annoys me - especially considering a certain Vampire can't sing as well as another member. And my dislike for the line distribution is not because my favourite member isn't getting lines - I mean, I love Kana and all, but she is not my favourite S/mileage member - She kind of graduated in August. What I'm saying is that S/mileage was a group that had good singers before, and now they have two girls who can't sing, and one of those girls is at the front - my main issue with S/mileage is, yes, their singing capabilities. And I do wish that Rina was put at the front and not Meimei. I mean, Ogawa Saki wasn't as popular as the other members of S/mileage as far as I know, and yet she was pretty much their front girl next to Yuuka, and she could sing. Meimei and Kana can't. But, in the end, it does boil down to popularity now, and not talent.

But I think it is kind of understandable why I have such an issue with S/mileage, considering they were based more so on their talent as eggs rather than how popular they were... Unless they were Yuuka, but she's a freakin' QUEEN

But, for some reason, I don't currently have an issue with the line distribution between C-ute or Berryz, unless you count Shock, which is... disgusting because most of the time, they have pretty decent line distribution - C-ute is onyl a 5 member unit, and the lines are shared out well right now, though I doubt that that was the case earlier on in their career - I mean, their indies singles were pretty badly distributed, especially with members who weren't as popular like Chisato or Nakky, but were made in favour of Maimi and Airi, and also Mai. Two of which could not sing, but have improved over time. Luckily they can all sing really well now, right?

I can't say much in terms of Berryz, considering I ignore them for the most part - but my main issue with Berryz is that there is a tad too much focus on certain members, including the lovely Miyabi. However, their recent singles do give a bit more focus on the other members, and they have relatively good line distribution with each girl shining during a solo except for Aa, yo ga Akeru so I don't mind their songs as much... But that's due to the fact that I don't care about the group itself, so I barely listen to them.

So, as you have probably guessed, my issue with line distribution lies mainly in the groups that I really like, or even liked in the case of S/mileage - and it isn't the solo's that irk me now, though that can come into play sometimes, but the line distribution where a certain number of girls sing. It honestly pisses me off, especially when these girls aren't given good screen time either.

I do find it annoying that people think that all the talented or 'ready' members get lines when that is not the case - but I can't really oppose their opinion, however I can debate it if I feel that they are, in a way, wrong. And here, I do think that some people are wrong. In the idol world, it isn't the good singers who get the lines, it's the popular members. This goes for groups outside of H!P, like TGS, Sexy Zone, H!S!J and other popular groups, so I am not just directing this at Hello! Project - they are just the group that I target because I know more about them.

So the issue is that, no matter what, line distribution will suck, and popularity won't always guarantee solo's in the group (though it can give them more screen time). However, your best bet is to buy a lot of merchandise of your favourite member of any given group, and hope for the best, otherwise, they might just stay in the back for a while. That, or you can hope that the wota lose interest in a certain front member, and that they get pushed to the back.

But that's doubtful, though it does happen... Why did it happen to Koharu!?

... And this is a majority of you as you read this post, or me, as people hate on me for giving my say on line distribution. I needed an excuse to get Gary Oak in on the act, sorry!

My opinion has been given!

The Fight For Leadership: Morning Musume's Next Leader and My Thoughts on this Matter

I'm too annoyed to care about even my own opinion, LOL

A few months ago, I had the desire to write up a post on a certain topic but, for some reason, completely forgot about it. Well, I read an article on Tokyohive that reminded me about the topic I wanted to write on, and, considering that Niigaki Risa's graduation is nearing in a few months, now is better than never.

Just after Takahashi Ai's graduation from Morning Musume, I read on one of the fan wikipedia's for Morning Musume that a 7th sub-leader hadn't been chosen for the group. This was surprising, but I really wasn't prepared for what I had read next - Apparently, Tanaka Reina was to become the sub-leader instead of Michishige Sayumi, but in the end Tsunku chose neither, as he predicted conflict. So, in the end of it all, no sub-leader was chosen.

When I finished reading that, I was ready to write up a blog post or a very long rant on why Reina shouldn't be the next sub-leader, and why Sayumi deserved the position rather than that winking cat. In the end, I simply forgot about it and didn't think twice about the situation, somewhat making myself believe that Sayumi would become the next leader regardless due to being the second oldest in Morning Musume.

Well, my insecurities have returned thanks to the Tokyohive article that I read today. In the article, Michishige Sayumi was claimed to have stated that she wished to become Morning Musume's next leader, as she feels that it is her time and that currently, the new leader has not been discussed, so she expresses her wishes to gain that position. And when I read that, I knew then that I really wanted Sayumi to become the leader, and not Reina.

I guess it's down to personal preference, but honestly, I do feel that Sayumi would be better fitted as the leader than Reina is - she is a lot more friendly with the other members as far as I know, and helps them out as best as she can. She appears on TV a lot, and is pretty much the spokes person for the group that she loves so much. She is much more than a pretty face, and has already proven herself to be a reliable and capable young adult in such situations, so yes, I would love to see her become a leader.

But what kind of makes me think about what will happen is more so the comments on this topic - there's a divide when it comes to those who want Sayu as a leader, and those who want Reina as the leader. Some people think that Sayumi already gets enough attention as the resident camera whore of MM, so feel that she just deserves that sub-leader title and to look pretty beside Reina as the leader, whilst others feel that Reina deserves it more because she is the face and voice of Morning Musume.

Honestly, these comments... I really hate them, but that is probably because I have a soft spot for Sayumi. She isn't my favourite member of the group, but I seem to relate to her more than the other members in a personal way. I especially hate the comments that state that Sayu should not be a leader simply because she has a lot of camera time in Morning Musume, as well as claiming that she would steal everyone else's spotlight because of this fancy new title, and that Reina deserves it more because she is better than Sayumi at singing.

I know that people have different opinions on the matter, but there are a few shallow comments on this situation - and it is mostly concerning how Sayumi shouldn't be a leader because of how much better Reina is, and how Sayu gets enough spot light already. Well, in my opinion, I think that Sayumi deserves this much more than Reina. She has worked hard to become what she has, to get that position in Morning Musume where she is at the front, singing lines that were made for her. Reina has always had a front and centre position from the day she started, whilst Sayumi herself has had to make her own road from scratch in order to get to where Reina is right now.

Also, Sayumi is currently the only member (other than Eripon, in a way) who happens to be on TV a lot. She is shown on different TV shows, and recently was cast in two different drama's (one for MoBeKiMaSu, and another where she is a spoilt sister) as well as becoming the image character for SANRIO and a character on the Dragons Nest MMO where she played as an Idol character. As well as that, Sayumi also helped to produce her latest photobook, where she was able to choose things that she wanted and to show a different side to her usual cute self, and show a brand new Sayumi for her fans. This just shows how much control Sayumi can have, and how big she is with the Media. Right now, she is one of the only connections to TV for the group - and Reina does not have that.

Whilst Reina is the most popular member of Morning Musume and the face of the group, she probably isn't as active as Sayumi is when it comes to the Media. Yes, she is popular - but the public seem to adore Sayumi more as a tarento than they do Reina, because if they really did adore Reina just as much, wouldn't she get as many appearances as Sayumi does right now? In the end, it is the wota that love Reina - but it's the public (mostly kids, as far as I know) and the wota who like Sayumi.

In the end of it all, whoever is chosen as the next leader is Tsunku's and UFA's choice, and not ours. There are probably a lot more people out there who, like me, want to see Sayumi as a leader, simply because she deserves it. The girl has had to push and pull her way to the front from the beginning and has had to make herself noticed, whilst Reina has just had to sit back and relax because it was all done for her. I feel like it is Sayumi's time to shine as someone who isn't 'cutesy' or 'annoying', but as the leader of Morning Musume who will continue to promote them and show everyone that Morning Musume is a great group.

These videos are from the release event of the Valentines chocolate that Sayu collaborated with as 'Sayu Usa'. This is where she expressed her desire to become the next leader of Morning Musume, too.

The Facts over Fiction of Idol Groups/Hello! Pro Rant! (Collab with Momoka)

Everything within this post IS my own opinion, and only mine, and does not have to be taken seriously. If you are offended by what I say and do not like it, fine by me. However do not disrespect what I have to say. If you want to counteract me, fine, but you may get nowhere. I will respect your opinion, so please, respect mine.

Note* This is my first collaboration ever! So I tried hard XD

Note.2* I may contradict myself - especially if it concerns Tsunku XD

I was talking to a friend of mine, Momoka, over facebook, and she was in the mood to rant at that point, especially about Morning Musume related topics - I suggested that she put it on her blog, and she thought 'yes, then I can add more to the rant!' before having the idea that we should do a 'collaboration' style of post, one where she posts her side and one where I post my side, of recent questions or stereotypes that have suddenly come up in the world of Morning Musume or Hello! Project, so I agreed. For a while now, I have wanted to give my piece on how I view Morning Musume as of late, and whilst that may not really show here greatly, it will still give you a view into how I see things right now.

These started out as True or False questions, but when I (finally) joined in, I started to list everything that had been bugging me about fans for a while now. I currently follow certain tumblr posts, where people 'confess' things. You can find them HERE and HERE if you want to see them.

There are 21 questions that me and my friend, Momoka, came up with. So, I hope you enjoy this post and I hope it gives you a bit of an insight into what I think, feel and hope for from Morning Musume... or something along those lines :/

Warning: I have no idea if it will, but ranting may ensue~

Questions and Answers, after the jump! (If I make no sense, that's normal)

You can find Momoka's blog post HERE and see how drastically we differ with explaining how we think and feel... XD

Wait a Minute! Is this MomoClo!? - S/mileage's 'Chotto Matte Kudasai' PV Review/Rant

All opinions and thoughts here are my own, just like your opinions and thoughts are your own. If you do not agree with my opinion, that is fine, however in order for others to respect your opinions, you must learn to respect theirs. Also, give things a chance~

S/mileage's 8th single release, titled Chotto Matte Kudasai!, is the first single that will feature the new 6-nin lineup now that Maeda Yuuka has graduated. It is also the second single featuring Derpy, Wonky Eyes, the Gorilla and that horrible little squealing Vampire.

Now, before I get into this review, I have literally no idea what I have myself in for. I did try to listen to the preview for this song, but in the end I blanked it and closed youtube. I guess I'm still sore that Yuuka is no longer in the group and now I am left with a bunch of noobs and a few girls I hardly care about. However, I also wanted to have a reaction to both the song and the PV when it came out - and yes, I have seen a little of the PV preview, however it was like 2 seconds long so it doesn't count.

So, when I first saw the covers for this single, I actually thought 'Wow, Momoiro Clover are releasing another single?' and then back tracked - MomoClo doesn't have 6 members. Oh crap, S/mileage look like MomoClo clones. They really do. Even when I watched a little of the PV preview, it looked like a MomoClo release. I don't like MomoClo.

So yeah... but other than that, those are my current reactions. So, I have no idea what is in store for me.

... Is it so bad that I reaaaally want this single to flop? Because really, I do.

Okay, now that that is out of the way, I will go and watch the PV then give you a picspam... because I still haven't watched it as I write this (I'm pretty much putting it off)

...

Okay, what the f**k did I just watch?

(Warning: My opinions change throughout the post as I listened to the song more. I appreciate the song and PV, but I also don't really care for them like I do other songs and PVs)

Now, this pic spam won't be lengthy, for the pure fact that I feel like going into one of my more lengthy reviews. So yeah... there might be a lot of writing here, be warned~

The first reaction I had once the PV ended was pretty much 'What the f**k did I just watch?'. It is something that I would expect from MomoClo, and I am not kidding - I know that S/mileage do cute and energetic, but not to the extent where they look like idiots (Oh wait, Koi ni Booing...). But... it works with the song, unsurprisingly. The video fits the beat, and it has an overly energetic and childish feeling to it.

... And I don't like it right now.

Now, I'm not saying that it is bad or anything - I just don't really like it right now, much like I never really liked Tachiaa Girl but in the end started to care for it a little more. I guess that I just need to give the video (yeah, video) some more time before I actually start to like it more. I don't mind the song - it's incredibly catchy and quirky, and something I would listen to to perk me up or to get me in a hyperactive mood, much like Pyoko Pyoko Ultra. However... I'm not overly ecstatic with this, and it's probably because I'm not used to it. I mean, Yuuka isn't there anymore, and she was my favourite after Saki left. But right now, I only have one person I really actually care about in this group. Yes, I like other girls, but there's only one or two who actually get me excited when she sings or comes on screen...

Now, when Akari pops up I immediately gain a lot more interest. She's a very interesting character for me. She has this absolutely adorable face that reminds me of a chipmunk, and her voice is absolutely amazing. I will even go as far to say that she's the best singer in Nuevo S/mileage now that Yuuka's bailed. She's also got this energetic aura about her that makes it more fun to watch her, and she's always smiling. She doesn't look like she hates this, and she genuingly looks happy - a little like Dracu-Meimi, actually. I guess my liking of Akari makes me like the PV a lot more, however, it's really only Akari and Kana who actually make this PV fun for me.

Oh... and maybe Meimi but I don't really want to like her...

Talking about Meimi, she really is like a ball of absolute crackers in this - you can see how hyperactive and loony she really is. The girl is a ball of crazy, and I do like that about her. I just hate her voice and I think she's a freaky looking kid. I won't be the first, either, but I have a feeling that people may really not like me for saying that...

Oh well, my opinion \(._.)/

Now, concerning the dance in the PV - it's something that was really really weird and a dance technique that I am not used to. The girls look like idiots, which is actually rather cute and fun to watch, but it's really weird and too much like MomoClo. Though I did really enjoy the parts where Kana was always late and looking over her shoulder at the other members to see if she was on time - it's kind of like H!P are trying to make a little fun of Kana and how she's the most inexperienced member, but it just makes the dance a little more cute and fun to watch. I enjoy her shocked face.

And if her lateness was actually due to her not realising it, then props to H!P for keeping it in, because it adds a nice touch and it actually puts a lot more focus on Kana, and I do like that, because Kana is my second favourite in S/mileage right now, even though I don't honestly care that much for her. But she's getting there, and I like her a whole lot.

Hey look, it's how H!P see S/mileage...

Now, with the song, I am going to gripe about something, and that is the high pitched lines that go to Kanon, Dawa and Akari. Now, none of these girls can do them. They all sound horrible, and it's the worst part of the song to me. I mean, the only one who sounds half-decent singing them is Kanon. Seriously.

Oh, and I also hate how only Rina and Kana get one line each - Maybe I'm just spoiled by how S/mileage used to be with a few fairer lines distribution wise, but seriously? I hate this new S/mileage and the direction they are going in. I mean, Rina is one epic singer, but here she gets the least screen time. With Kana, she got a great amount of camera time and also had her own little bit added to the choreography to get her noticed more, but Rina? She's shit out of luck, and I hate that. She sings 10x better than Dawa does, and she's just shoved to the back.

But seriously? She's not even my favourite, but it really pisses me off that Rina's getting so little. I may bitch and moan with MM, but they have 12 members right now - there are 6 in S/mileage, so just throw a couple more lines to Rina!

This is turning into a rant, I know, but there's a lot that is pissing me off about S/mileage right now. However, I really don't want that to derail from my opinion on the song itself. So, whilst the PV will take some getting used to, I actually like how they made it - it has no story line, but what they do have is really funny and cute. I mean, the part where the girls stick to the wall like flies is an interesting concept, and I really like that backdrop - I have heard/read people say that it reminds them of Mr. Moonlight (Ai no Big Bang) but I disagree. It actually looks a lot like the MomoClo backdrop from their song Mirai Bowl.

Even if you don't think it does - I do. And the colours are similar too, so I'm not kidding when I say that S/mileage remind me of MomoClo in a way.

But yeah, there are a lot of cute things in this PV - much like the scenes where the girls are all colouring or drawing on the screen - this scene, though, made me crack a smile (I had a poker face through this). Kana is definitely amusing, and she's really cute when she does it. I think this scene made me like her a lot more, but I'm really happy that she has quite a bit of focus in this video. Her random antics make it a lot more enjoyable than it already is for most viewers.

And again, I like this concept here; I wouldn't have thought of it, but if it was any group that could pull it off in the PV, it would definitely be S/mileage in terms of H!P groups. I enjoyed watching them stick and slide down. I don't know why it's amusing, it just is - I nearly laughed when it happened to Dawa and Meimi, but that's probably because I am a synical cow and I don't like them.

So yeah...

I've listened to the song about 50 times right now since I began writing this rant/review, and whilst I may need to give it some time before I fully start to like the PV and grasp that Yuuka isn't there any more, I have begun to really enjoy the song. It's a great (and crazy) composition, something that S/mileage is good at. The song and video fit the image of the group, even if it does remind me too much of MomoClo when it shouldn't, and I do hope that S/mileage continue to go in the energetic direction. But the direction I don't want them to go into is where they are like Morning Musume: Girls in the back and a few at the front. I'm used to the S/mileage where everyone got a good amount of lines, not where two girls were shunned. It pisses me off, and I hate it, considering Rina is a better singer than two of the front girls and Kana... well, she's just hilarious and adorable. But yeah, her voice sucks - even I can admit that.

What I'm going to say to conclude this is: If you like S/mileage, and you hated Pyoko Pyoko Ultra, then I have a feeling you might like this - purely because right now, everyone seems willing to give this changing group a chance rather than Morning Musume. However, looking on Arama, some people aren't too keen - but give it time. A few people are praising the song for being cute and energetic, whilst others are on the edge. Wow, a lot more people are fine with the energetic 'new' S/mileage than the Nuevo Morning Musume. Is it bad that I want to punch something for how people react to different groups?

Okay, rant over on that...

If you like MomoClo or S/mileage, you will most likely like this as I said. Right now, I really don't care, purely because I'm not crazy about this new S/mileage right now. I don't like Meimi or Dawa, and the only members I can really say I care about are Akari and maybe Kana. The others? Meh. I have no opinion of them, but I don't think that I'm ready to get into my life boat yet. S/mileage seem to get better and better, actually, which makes me hope that I will start to care for them more as the year goes on. Hopefully, they will bring out more material that's really good. WITH Kana and Rina lines and minus that Squealing Vampire with a fringe.

Whatever, I'm hoping for the best. But I'm going to admit this now: Yes, this song is better than Pyoko. But I still like Morning Musume better than S/mileage.

And my sisters response was that she liked this more than Pyoko, which she enjoyed a whole lot. Then again, this is the image of S/mileage we know - not many people are happy with the direction that Morning Musume are going right now.

SO what are your thoughts on this? Mixed, happy, sad?

Chiima~
