Fukuda Kanon to Graduate ANGERME and Hello! Project This Coming Fall!?

Please note that all thoughts and opinions, however harsh, brash and bitchy they may be, are completely my own and, regardless of how others may deem my opinion, something that I will not change unless they eventually change overtime naturally. These are my opinions here and now, and I will record them how I see fit. You do NOT have to agree with me. You do NOT have to conform to what I say. You SHOULD NOT think that my word is law, or that I am right. Think I am wrong, please, but this is indeed what I think, and I would appreciate if you didn't try and sway my opinion just because you think I need to conform to your ways of thinking. I won't do that to you, so don't do it to me.

There is no right or wrong in an opinion. It is all subject, and that is that.

Earlier today on May 20th, 2015, it was announced that ANGERME's first generation member, Fukuda Kanon, has decided to graduate from both ANGERME and Hello! Project come the Fall. This will be the groups first graduation since 2011, after Maeda Yuuka departed from the group in order to continue a regular life.

Fukuda Kanon's comment regarding her Graduation, as well as a small reason to as why she has decided to leave the group and Hello! Project come Fall, has been translated via Up-Front Link, which you can source HERE.
To all the people who have always supported me. I, Kanon Fukuda, have decided to graduate this fall from ANGERME as well as from Hello! Project. Now that I became a member of S/mileage around 6 years ago, after the 3rd generation members joined and the group changed its name in order to become more powerful, I oriented myself to the thought of graduating. So after my graduation, I trust and feel relieve that the group would become bigger and bigger. Then, as well as graduating from ANGERME this fall, I have decided to take a new road. All of this came from me. The remaining time until my graduation is quite limited but in order to not waste one day, I took a break from the university I was going to. Now I devote myself and rush to ANGERME’s activities until the end. After my graduation I will go back to the university, and I will firmly study to graduate from the university, as well as for the work, going through new challenges, so please continue to support me. 2015/05/20ANGERMEKanon Fukuda
Fukuda Kanon joined Hello! Project back in 2004, and has been a member of the group ANGERME since its formation as S/mileage back in 2009. She has also been a part of the units Shugo Chara Egg!, Shin Minimoni, LilPri, HI-FIN, MobeKiMaSu and the Hello! Project Station Dance Club.

For 2015, Fukuda Kanon's graduation is the first to be announced, and will be the second graduation to undergo, after Berryz Kobou graduated this March.

Personal Thoughts

Okay, so, regarding my feelings on this matter; No, I am not surprised. I've been waiting for Maro's Graduation Announcement for a few years now, around the time Yuuka graduated, actually, and have always felt that, of the remaining two first generation members, she would be the first one to leave the group. So, for me, this announcement was something I simply waited out, as opposed to being shocked or surprised by it.

I suppose she had a bit of Risako syndrome going on when it came to her PV performance; for a long time now, she has looked so dis-interested when in the group, and just doesn't seem that bothered with her co-workers, which is why I always felt she would be the first to say bye before anyone else could.

Now, Maro is by far the least favourite member within ANGERME for me, but I don't dislike her, either; I think she's a fantastic performer, one of the best acts within the group, and also a stellar singer, however what has always bugged me about her for the past three years is that she looks like she'd rather be elsewhere, or seems to give off a feeling that she may be too good for the group. That's the vibe I get from her, and whilst I think she's amazing as a performer, it's just that I can't get over how much of a snob I feel she could be.
And I may get major dislike for that comment, but it's how I feel towards her, and I definitely wanted that out of my system.

With that said, again, there is a lot to like about Maro, moreso for her performance aspect, but whenever I read translated posts about her, I find it funny what she writes. But, aside from her performance skills and how she can seem funny in a snobbish was from her posts, I probably won't miss her.

I definitely don't feel sad right now, however I may feel something towards the date of her actual Graduation, because Maro has been a member of this group since around the time I became a fan, and I have followed them from their major debut since. Yes, it was a loose following, especially when they hit their shitty years, but I've still watched the group grow as I have grown as a fan, so she does mean something to me, I guess... she's just not as important to me as other members are from this group.

Despite this Graduation Announcement, however, I still think that ANGERME will do well without Maro; it's obvious that they're already prepping for someone to take over her spot *cough*MUROTANIT'SSOFUCKINGOBVIOUS*cough*, if their latest single is anything to go by, and the group has a great deal of some of H!P's strongest singers in there already, with both Maho and Dawa being the weakest at this point in time. So, yeah, I do think the group will go on without Maro quite well - if Morning Musume could survive without Reina, then I'm pretty damn sure that ANGERME can do okay without Maro.

It's been a long time coming, I believe, and it's not surprising or saddening for me that Maro will be leaving the group. To a degree, I know I'll miss her, and I will certainly miss the high quality of her performance skill that she has provided thus far, but as a character? Nah, I won't miss her, not that much.

Seriously, though; if Berryz were the first group I thought should go based on their sloppy video performances, then it was going to be Maro that I would have thought should go next based on how annoyed she looked just being with ANGERME, I have to admit.
 I know, I'm a bitch.

At least it's not C-ute, though.

I did a video too, by the way. Because I haven't done a 'Let's Talk...' in a long while, and this moment called for videos to be recorded. YEAH!!!

If you wish to, feel free to leave your own thoughts on the matter in the comments below. Feel free to also disagree with me, because I know my opinion will not go down well with everyone XD

Until next time.

Okay! Musume Digest #31

It's Christmas Time! Pull out the Crackers and the wine, because it's time to celebrate!

To all the readers who do not celebrate Christmas, then please have a great day ahead of you and I am wishing you a Happy new Year, too! But to everyone, please have a wonderful day and remember to stay safe and drink responsibly! Especially you, Shirow and Morningtime!!! I don't think they even read my blog

Anyway, here, have a Christmas present... or five...

Now those are some of the most delicious Christmas presents I have ever seen ;)

So to start off, I've been procrastinating... but I'm going to put it down to Holiday laziness, really. Then again I've been doing other things aside from the blog, so shhh ;) Anyway, I gave you a picture, so forgive me? xD

Okay enough jibber-jabber! It's time to move onto the video of the week, so here we go!

Video of the Week

Aitai Lonely Christmas by C-ute!

Are you having a lonely Christmas this year? Well, don't worry, for the C-ute girls are here to warm you up and to let you know that they are lonely too! So why not spend Christmas together and enjoy sitting by the fire as these girls sing you this sad little tune about Christmas loneliness. Awwww ):

So, this video can only mean one thing, right? Correct! It did indeed win the Poll, but where did the other guys come in?

Poll Results

Aitai Lonely Christmas 55%
Samui ne 27%
Wa~ MERRY PIN X'mas! 25%
Pittari Shitari X'mas 25%
Shiroi Tokyo 22%
Santa-san 20% (HOW!?)
Oujisama to Yuki no Yoru 15%
Noel no Yoru 7%
Totteoki Christmas 7%
Kira Kira Fuyu no Shiny G 7%
Sweet Snow 5%
Samui kara Fuyu da mon! ~Doumokou mo Naissu yo Mikitty~ 5%
Sexy Summer no Yuki ga Furu 2%
Akai Muffler 2%
White Christmas 0%
Santa no Saxophone 0%
Futari no Hoshi ~Hanarete Itemo~ 0%
Uchii Ichi no Christmas 0%

And those are the results! Sadly some song choices weren't chosen, but we can't really do anything about it now, can we? The one obvious song won of course (everyone loves that song, haha) and is obviously being featured as the video of the week!

Hopefully you will be listening to that Christmas tune all week, or at least until December 26th, so please enjoy it~

With that all said and done, it's time to get into the final part of the Digest. Please enjoy this week's batch of:

NEWS OF THE WEEK

Maeda Atsuko will appear on MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE, which is scheduled to air on December 21st from 6:53pm. This will be Maeda's first appearance on Music Station since her graduation from AKB48.

Whilst this will have aired by the time this Digest is up, it's great to see that Atsuko fans will have a chance to see Acchan appear on a music channel again. AKB48 will also be appearing on the show, so Acchan will be able to meet with her fellow members again on the stage and hopefully sing with them, or maybe she will sing solo? Who knows.

Hopefully everyone who watched the performance enjoyed it.

It has been announced that AKB48's Takahashi Minami's solo debut, currently untitled, is set to release under NAYUTAWAVE RECORDS in the spring of 2013. The song has also been chosen as the opening theme to the upcoming drama Saki, which will begin airing on January 8th. The song is said to be a dramatic and emotional rock ballad which symbolizes TakaMina's solo debut.
“Takamina has been leading the AKB48 group while encouraging the members that ‘your effort never goes unrewarded.’ Now it’s time to prove it by your own self as the general manager. Alright Takamina. We are ready for your solo debut.” - Akimoto Yasushi (Tokyohive)
It's great to have an update on TakaMina's solo debut, and whilst I was hoping for an earlier release, we'll probably get a good preview through the opening of the show that the song is being used for. Hopefully more details will soon follow, so keep your eyes and ears open!

It has been announced that Berryz Kobou will be holding a Fanclub Tour in Hawaii for 2013. This will be their third trip to Hawaii for a fanclub tour, two years after their second Hawaii fanclub tour.

I'm honestly surprised that Berryz haven't been to Hawaii in two years for a fanclub tour, but with their recent surge in popularity - especially in the Thai market where the girls have become a lot more popular and well known - I'm not surprised that a new FC tour was announced for the group. Hopefully the girls will have an enjoyable time when the tour starts, and hopefully their fans will join the girls in Hawaii for a day of fun and watching their Idols perform.

C-ute's will be in a stage play titled Sakura no Hanataba, and it will run from March 14th until the 24th.

Stage plays are nothing new to Hello! Project, but it's always fantastic news to find out that a member or two are performing in a stage play together. It's actually pretty fantastic to find out that all of C-ute will be performing together for this stage play, and honestly, Sakura no Hanataba is quite a fitting name for C-ute as the girls themselves are just as refreshing as the spring season.

I will be looking forward to seeing the girls perform and hopefully a trailer or snippets of the show will be released in 2013.

Momochi will be a guest on the show Otameshi Ka! of TV Asahi on the 24th of December. The show will air from 6:30pm.

Note the Momochi, and not Momoko, meaning that the infuriating pigtails will be back to haunt us all!

... I need to make a tag for Momochi, actually...

Mano Erina's Best-of album has been titled. It will be called BEST FRIENDS.

Announced via Nama Suma, it has been revealed that S/mileage second generation members will get their own radio show. The show will be titled S/mileage Station and will begin airing on January 6th, 2013. It will air from 1:00am until 1:15am. You can also send mail to S/mileage Station via ss1422@jorf.co.jp, so be sure to send in your messages!

It's great news for S/mileage fans that the second gen members will be getting their own radio show, and it will be a great way to keep up with the girls! Sadly, 15 minutes is quite short, but it will still be a great way to keep up with the girls, so when it begins please tune in, and please send in your messages to the girls!

Hello! Project and B.L.T will once again be collaborating with specially designed member shirts!

It's great to hear that once again H!P will be collaborating to make special shirts for their fans with the help of B.L.T. Hopefully all fans will be able to buy a special shirt to support their favourite member!

The cover to Fukuda Kanon's up-coming solo DVD, titled Dress up Kanon, has been revealed.

When I saw the cover I as quite surprised, because I immediately thought of when Kanon was in LilPri. I also thought about how much the title suited Kanon as well, because to me Kanon looks and seems like a doll, so the title is perfectly fitting for her.

Hopefully Kanyon fans can reserve a copy of the solo DVD, because it will be a great addition to any collection for S/mileage or Nyon fans.

Source

Kikkawa Yuu (I refuse to say You!) will be releasing a new single nd DVD on the 16th of January, 2013. On the 25th of January, Kikkawa will also be holding Kikka Fes 6 in Tokyo.

It's great to hear that Kikka will be releasing something new for her fans, and whilst I'm not a big fan of hers I do like some of her music. Hopefully fans will anticipate the release!

Source

The duo voice-acting unit YuiKaori will be releasing their first single of 2013, titled Shiny Blue, on March 13th. There will be two editions of this single, a Regular edition and a Limited version which will include the music video of Shiny Blue.

It's great to get news of YuiKaori's next release, and whilst it's a few months away I am excited already! After Ueika, I have high hopes for this duo. I love what they do regardless, and hopefully Shiny Blue will be just as good as their previous works.

Anticipate up-coming details like covers or previews! I know I will!

It has been announced that Nakajima Saki will release a solo DVD on February 27th.

One question: WHERE'S THE COVER?

Source

Wada Ayaka' up-coming e-Hello DVD is titled Vivid Flower.

Dawa looks gorgeous on that cover... Ah, is it bad that I want to marry her?

Yes, I like her more, so sue me... ;A;

A PV preview for Morning Musume's up-coming single, Help me!! has been released.

... Green-screen, YAAAAY.

But it reminds me of Mikan, which I liked, but that was before I became a judgemental cow.

Whatever XD

The digest to Wada Ayaka's up-coming e-hello DVD, titled Vivid Flower, has been released.  Let the video enchant you with Dawa's grace and elegance.

This is actually one of the best digests I have seen, mostly because Dawa actually knows what she's doing, plus, she's a stunner/corker/gorgeous!

Caw blimey, Dawa!

The short music video for Bakusute Sotokonda Icchome's Yoropiko Pikoyoro has been released, so watch and enjoy!

Who wants to play spot the difference between this PV and Help me!!'s dance version? I already have but it will be fun to play again xD

But in all seriousness it's a pretty cute song, but not very memorable, either.

It has been announced that the Hello! Project Kenshuusei will be holding their next live on March 31st.

It's great to get confirmation on a date for the Kenshuusei's concerts, so now fans will be well aware of when to book tickets and places to support their favourite Trainee's of Hello! Project!

The cover to Tazaki Asahi's up-coming debut single, titled Tegami/Rolling Days, has been revealed. Much like the other Satoyama covers, this is a very simple but pretty cover.

Whilst there is only one cover available, this release is a Double A-side for the new singer under the Satoyama movement, so hopefully that will mean two PV's to enjoy from UFP's latest singer. I am actually really anticipating a video from this girl, so fingers crossed that it comes out soon!

It has recently been revealed that Mano Erina's best of album, BEST FRIENDS, will include 17 tracks. 14 will be existing, 2 are new tracks and there will also be a bonus track.

The sound of a bonus track is extremely surprising, and of course I am really curious to know what that bonus track is. It might be a message or a song, who knows, either way I will anticipate the release or preview of the bonus track!

Any thoughts?

C-ute's December 30th concert will be streamed live via Youtube.

I wasn't expecting this news, but for all fans this will be something to look forward to and watch on the 30th. It's a great treat for the fans who can't watch it in the hall, and for international fans like myself, it will be a nice little gift from C-ute to see them perform on youtube.

Make sure to tune in on the 30th and enjoy the show!

Source

Peaberry will be releasing their second single on Febraury 27th!

This is amazing news for Peaberry fans, and confirms that the groups will be going ahead with new releases! Whilst details are scarce, I will be waiting patiently for the title of the song and whether or not this will be a collaborated single once again like it was beforehand.

Hopefully all Peaberry fans will reserve a copy or wait patiently for previews and further announcements.

Michishige Sayumi introduces the new Idol Hour Hello! Project for ENJ Radio, which will begin airing Idol Hour in January.

It's great to see that the new Radio segments are being promoted already, ready to bring in a new audience. It must be hard for Sayu to speak in English, though, but she did a wonderful job! Everyone, please check it out and get excited for the new radio show which will cater to international fans!

It has been announced that Kikkawa Yuu will be a regular in the TBS drama Hancho 6.

This is wonderful news for any Kikka and drama fans. My hope is that the drama will lead to better promotion for the Idol, because it is one of the things that she lacked this year. Anyway, I hope for great success for Kikka and hopefully many people will tune into Hancho 6 to see her performance!

On December 23rd it was announced that JKT48 will be making their CD Début in Indonesia this coming January. To commemorate their début, the group is planning to distribute 100,000 copies free, mainly in Jakarta.

There will be a total of four versions of the promotional CD, with each version containing an AKB48 song from Heavy Rotation, Baby!Baby!Baby!, Ponytail to Shushu and Kimi no Koto ga Suki. Each version has been covered in the Indonesian language. These songs will also be included on the official CD release, and the title and trackl ists will be announced at a later date.

Whilst I don't follow JKT48, it's great to hear that the girls will be getting a CD début next year. Much like HKT48, the girls will be releasing their first single and officially débuting like their older sister groups. Hopefully the début for JKT will include an original song, and hopefully everyone who is a fan can reserve a copy and enjoy what the girls produce!

It has been announced that NMB48 will be releasing their first album on February 27th. Currently the album is untitled, however it will contain 6 of their singles, some coupling tracks, songs from their theatre performances as well as some new songs for their fans to enjoy. There will be four different editions to the album; Type N, M, B and a Theatre edition. Type N, M and B will all come with a DVD whilst Theatre edition is CD only.

This is great news for all NMB48 fans and NMB48 themselves. An album release is important for all groups and those who are fans of that group, because it means a great collection of old and new songs that everyone can enjoy together, and for fans who prefer albums to singles, this will be great to add to a collection.

Hopefully everyone will be able to wait patiently for further announcements, and if you're too excited to wait, then remember to reserve yourself a copy!

And that, my dears, is all we have time for this week! Hopefully you will all have a wonderful Christmas or a wonderful day with your family. Please keep safe, happy sober or drunk, and remember to always love your Idols and fawn over your Oshi's happily! Until the New Year for our next batch of Digest goodness, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Okay! Musume Digest #30

Greetings to you all, and welcome to my Digest! Shall we take a look at what the week has brought us in terms of news?

IT'S ONE WEEK TILL CHRISTMAS!!!! YEEEEAH!!!

This week has been filled with Idol news, some shocking, some surprising and some which is just darned expected! The biggest shocker was even more graduation announcements from the 48 Family tree, whilst the surprise was finding out that Bump.y are STILL ALIVE!? I know, I nearly cried with absolute happiness and manly tears, too. There's also plenty of H!P related news, too, some Station♪ and more! Stay tuned to find out, but first, let's look at our Video of the Week, eh?

Video of the Week

Futari no Hoshi ~Hanareteite mo~ by Bump.y

To celebrate the return of Bump.y, I want to share with you their second single, which is also a winter-based song. Now, if only Akai Muffler had a PV, I would have put that up as the PV of the week because that is one of my ultimate Christmas songs, but alas, it was not meant to be... Oh well, whatever. This song is very fresh and nice to listen to when you look past how raw the vocals are. It's a lovely video, too, and I love the sisterly feel that Bump.y has together. Please check it out and enjoy the cuteness of Bump.y and the winter feel they give through this video.

Poll of the Week

Let's get into the spirit of Christmas with a Christmas-themed poll, shall we? Here is this week's question, so be sure to answer!

Which of these songs is your Christmas tune?

There will be quite a few answers, mostly from groups that I know mostly, but hopefully there will be something there for everyone to choose! I'm sorry for having such a limited number of groups I enjoy... DX

Happy voting, guys!

Picture of the Week

Santa-chan, this year I have been a really good person, so is it possible to find some Idols under my tree on Christmas Day...?

And with my message to Santa all said and done, let's get to the important part of the Digest! Let's go!!!

NEWS OF THE WEEK

Ikuta Erina appeared on a show hosted by Nakai on 28/11. This is a little late, but I wanted to show everyone the show that Eripon appeared on alone.

To see Eripon on a show by herself is amazing, and I was really impressed by how easily she was able to interact with everyone and charm the other guests with her confidence and cuteness. It seemed that a part of the conversation was focused on Morning Musume, but due my lack of Japanese skill, I have no idea what the girls are talking about.

Please take a look and enjoy if you love Eripon or anyone else who has appeared on the show!

Bump.y will be releasing their 6th single, titled COSMO no Hitomi, on January 16th 2013. The single will be available in three editions: Regular, Limited A and Limited B. The title song is produced by Nishidera Gota

Track List:

1. Cosmo no Hitomi
2. Escape
3. Sunday (Regular Edition only)
4. Be Mine ~Code of Flowers~ (Limited B only)

Limited A DVD List:

1. Cosmo no Hitomi (Music Video)
2. Cosmo no Hitomi (Music Video Making of)

My lord they're actually alive O-o

A song preview for Bump.y's up-coming 2013 single, COSMO no Hitomi, is available for fans to listen to. The preview is 2:35 minutes long and features a calm and pretty tune.

... Weird thing is, I was talking to Nia about Bump.y because she asked if they were still active. Well, question answered...

Source

A song preview for Be Mine ~Code of Flowers~ has been revealed. This song will be featured on the Limited B version of Bump.y's up-coming 2013 single, COSMO no Hitomi. The song is a spring-like tune which sounds very calm and pretty.

... I still can't get over the fact that they're alive... o-O

... I think that UFP have realised how to make money and/or how to promote singles and sell the girls o-o or something...

Okay, honestly speaking, the thought of Riho singing in a duet that isn't Peaberry scares me, especially with her shitty vocals right now. UFP, don't you realise that this girl needs a REST? Her vocals are crap now thanks to you guys over-working her. She sounded damn good in her first concert, and now when she sings it's painful to listen to... giving her a duet with Sakura will not aid her in recovering her vocals, if they are able to be saved, that is.

I would also have liked Fukumura to be given a duet with someone else, like Haruka or Sakura - SOMEONE to match up to her vocal ability, at least. Sayu and Ayumi aren't as polished or refined as Fukumura. Give her someone with talent to sing with, please.

Source

The full radio preview for Morning Musume's 52nd single, Help me!! has been uploaded for everyone to listen to, so go on and check it out!

Well... it seems like this song is pretty much 3nin, or mostly that, and you can certainly hear Riho's  voice over all that auto-tune. That girl is beyond help, I swear... her voice sounds terrible in my opinion, she needs a rest, or to never sing these sorts of songs again.

Which I wouldn't mind, because I would be saved from physically wincing every time she tries to sing or shriek.

Anyway, other than me bitching about Riho needing a break, the song sounds better than I expected, I may even grow to like it more. It isn't as bad as One Two Three, but it could be better. Also... auto-tune. Yaaaaaay... //sarcasm.

... I like the talking, who I suppose is Fukumura or Sakura?

MY GOD, THIS SONG SOUNDS LIKE TOKKAIKO JUNJOU O-O

Whatever, everyone else is going to eat this up I expect. I'm the minority, always xD So not mainstream, duh

I can't even hear some of the decent singers like Haruka or Zukki, and I can't hear the other girls uch either other than Sayu

Mano Erina is an 'IceCream Girl' for Icecco.

I've never heard of Icecco, but it seems to be a site where the focus is on 'girls who love Icecream and Photographers', giving you a sweet taste and a delicious expression from the cute girls. The site seems to promote a variety of Idols, including lesser known girls from groups such as Pramo, as well as other groups who are more well known like Afilia Saga East.

This is a great way for fas to see Mano in a more relaxed atmosphere, and also a chance to see her having ice cream! Her pictures look very beautiful and thoughtful, so I do suggest that you all check them out to see Mano with some yummy ice cream!

... And now I crave ice cream!

Source

Young Jump magazine have a gallery of Mano Erina's photo shoot available for everyone to take a look at, so go and check out Mano in all her glory!

It's great to see that Mano is doing as much as she can with Hello! Project before she officially leaves next February, and to see her in this photo shoot just show how much she has grown and matured into a young woman from a fresh debut soloist. The images are mature, sexy and refreshing, and really show off the beauty of Mano Erina.

There are only 6 images, but please take your time looking at these beautiful images and appreciate Mano and her beauty.

It has been announced that S/mileage will perform at FujiTV's Kira Kira Winter Land on December 16th.

It seems that S/mileage are becoming a popular choice for mini-lives or stages, but for any fan this is great news because it means that the girls can become more well known as well as sell their image and the image of Hello! Project. Hopefully the girls will perform with great energy and happiness, and everyone will enjoy the performances available!

Source

S/mileage will be on Happy Music on December 16th.

Any music channel means promotion for the girls and their song, and of course it's no surprise tat S/mileage will be able to go onto the show and hopefully promote the song by talking about it and maybe even performing it. Hopefully fans will tune in and enjoy seeing S/mileage on TV!

Source

Hello! Project will be holding a Hinamatsuri, titled Hello! Project Haru no Dai Kansha Hinamatsuri Festival 2013, which will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of March. There will be three event to attend; Saturday evening, early Sunday afternoon and late Sunday afternoon.

This is pretty surprising news, as I have never heard of Hello! Project doing a Hinamatsuri, however with this, the girls are surely being promoted so much better and are gaining a lot more recognition now from the public. As the event itself is in March, Mano Erina will not be present as she will have graduated.

Whilst the information given tells us that all the main acts plus some Kenshuusei will be performing, I hope that the Satoyama acts will take part and promote themselves more.

It has officially been announced that Oda Sakura's image colour is Lavender!

... Meaning Light Purple, yes yes? So in essence, she has taken on Aika's original colour. Not that I mind, because honestly, we need a new purple now that Eripon has taken up Gaki's yellow-green colour, and with the sea of blue/green/pink in the group, it's quite refreshing to see a purple colour once again which is light and refreshing.

A PV preview to Iwasa Misaki's Moshimo Watashi ga Sora ni Sundeitara has been released.

My sister actually suggested that I add this to the Digest, because she enjoyed it quite a bit. Originally I wasn't going to because I pay little attention to Iwasa, but I would like to say that after watching the preview, she has a beautiful, mature voice and the PV itself is very lovely to watch. She looks beautiful, and I think that everyone should check it out.

It has been announced that Team M member Hikawa Ayame and Kenkyuusei member Sato Sorai will be graduating from NMB48. Hikawa will be leaving due to an injury, and will have a graduation ceremony on December 22nd instead of a performance. Sato's reason for leaving is to focus on another goal in her life, and so far no graduation date has been set.
Even though I’m getting treatment, it hasn’t recovered completely, so when I try to exercise, it hurts. While taking a rest, I spent a lot of time thinking about my future, and it made me start thinking about graduating. - Hikawa (Tokyohive)
I have two dreams. One is to become an actress, and the other one is to become a nursery teacher which was my dream before I joined NMB48. When I contemplate my future, the feeling that I want to focus on my studies, got stronger, thus I have decided to graduate.” - Sato (Tokyohive)
More NMB members graduating? This now totals the graduations for this group to 15, which is a lot. In total, that means 42 members from the '48 family have graduated, or will be graduating... which I do think is bad, even though most people wave it off because there are 100's or even thousands of these girls.

Well, it sucks - but if these girls think that they aren't getting anywhere (which is the most likely case), then hopefully their education will get them somewhere better.

Here is a video of Wada Ayaka and Iikubo Haruna at a Tower Records event.

This video was recommended on my youtube, and whilst it was uploaded a while ago, I want to share with everyone the cuteness of Dawa and Harunan when they are together. This is part 3 of 4, but I saw this part and fell in love with the girls' interaction together. Please take your time to watch the cuteness of these two best friends~

It's over an hour long... xD

Afilia Saga East have introduced a new member, Raymee Heavenly! Raymee is from the Sherry's Cafe, which is based on the 'Sexy schoolgirl' theme as well as mage costumes.

Due to Karen Classica's departure from the group, it isn't weird or surprising to see someone new; the managers seem intent on keeping Afilia a 12 member unit, having added two new members to Afilia when Meena and Rose both graduated back in March.

Hopefully Raymee will become a great member within Afilia! I can't wait to see her debut PV and how she performs! :D

It has been announced that Station♪ member Kinjou Narumi will be graduating from the group on December 29th, 2012.

WHAT!? SHE'S LEAVING!?

... That's the one girl I liked in Station♪ gone, now I'll need to cling to one of the remaining four, and it ain't that trainee they had... or whatever she is now...

-sighs-

Source

... To add salt to this ever-growing wound, Station♪ are holding auditions to find a new member, girls aged between the ages of 10-20, without a record or contract. The girls require some knowledge of the railway. There will be three rounds; The screening of documents, practical interviews and then dance lessons, learning Station♪'s songs and practice of choreography. No fee is required.

Okay, so saying that this adds to the wound is a bit of an over reaction. Actually, I am happy to see that the group's managers are preparing the girls for a new member and trying to continue their activities with someone fresh. It's the best way to start the new year... right?

It has been announced that Station♪ will be releasing their 4th physical single release, 5th overall, and is titled TO・KI・DO・KI Fumikiri. It will be released on February 13th, 2013, making this Station♪'s first release of the year and the first without Kinjou Narumi.

I'm always happy to hear Station♪ single related news, because I absolutely adore these girls and their music. I can't wait for the PV to come out~ I hope that it showcases the cute freshness of Station♪.

Starting on January 5th 2013, Enjoy Network Japan will begin broadcasting their Idol Hour Hello! Project segment, which will be a free radio show for all Hello! Project fans. Michishige Sayumi will be the first DJ on the show.

When I heard this news I was so happy, ecstatic at the prospect of finally being able to hear the Hello! Project members on the radio! I'm still extremely happy, because Hello! Project is my favourite company filled with Idols, and I can't wait to tune into the show on a regular basis (if I remember, haha!) and enjoy hearing their voices!

Are you all as excited as I am? *o*

Kitahara Sayaka will take part in the Sorao no Sekai stageplay, which will run from February 9th until the 17th.

It's great to see that Sayaka is continuing her activities after leaving UFP. Sadly, I have no idea what character Sayaka is or if she is even a lead, but still, this is a great opportunity for the ex-egg and I hope that she delivers a great performance which is memorable.

Ebisu Muscats have announced that they will e disbanding next Spring. This was revealed during their December 16th one-man live at Nakano Sun Plaza. The group will be disbanding after their live at Maihama Amphitheater on April 7th of 2013. Onedari Muscat SP!! will end on March 30th, and the girls will also be releasing their final single, ABAYO, on March 6th, as well as their final album titled Sotsugyou Album in April.
“Our program ‘Onedari Muscat SP!‘ will end next spring, and with the end of the program, we will also be disbanding. Though it is regrettable, this is the decision we made.” - Kishi Aino (Tokyohive)
“We were first told that this program would end after 6 months, but we were able to keep going for 5 years, it has taught us a lot of things just like school. Although we are different from other idols, I am proud that we are able to announce our disbandment at such a big venue like this. Thank you very much for this past 5 years.” - Kishi Aino (Tokyohive)
"From the beginning, I was thinking that the disbandment should be when the girls are in the best form. They have achieved the 7th place on Oricon weekly chart with their latest single ‘Gyakusou Idol‘ (released on October 31st), and also the audience rating for the program has reached 2.5% which was the highest, so I wanted it to disband at this timing.” - Makkoi Saito, general director of Onedari Muscat SP!! (Tokyohive)
I had a brief, brief fling with this group... Honey Trap is a wonderful song (with a creepy video), and Go Go... Purakawa is so cute... So in a way, I am a little sad, but we did not spend enough time together. Though honestly, I thought that Ebisu would be around for a lot longer. These Gravure/AV Idols all seem to be eternal to me, so I was shocked to learn of their disbandment.

Hopefully their graduation will be a happy one, filled with the love of the fans and the girls themselves. Please enjoy Ebisu Muscats whilst you can, guys~

Worse to come in news, Nogizaka-forty-fail are still around, and holding second generation auditions...
Nogizaka46 are holding their second generation auditions! 13-22 years old's as of March 31st 2013 can apply. The auditioners who pass the audition will become Research Students and begin lessons, and will become official members according to the results of their lessons.

... I don't like this Research Student system. I actually don't xD Why not just hold auditions for Research Students instead of auditioning girls, adding them then re-evaluating them further? I know that the '48 family + this group is gigantic, but still...

This is why MoMusu are easy to follow

SKE48 Kenkyuusei member Ogino Risa has decided to halt her activities for a while in order to focus on taking care of her younger sister. The SKE trainee posted this via her Google+ account. SKE Management has accepted Risa's request to suspend her activities until the end of April.

Here is a translation of Risa's message to her fans:

This is Ogino Risa of Kenkyusei.
Thank you always for all of your support.
I have an announcement to make to everybody.
I, Ogino Risa, have decided to stop my SKE48 activities temporarily starting in December.
My 5-year-old sister recently entered the hospital, so I have decided that it’s the time to stick together with my family, and look after her.
After the discussion with staff members, I chose to stop my activity for a while.
I’m very sorry to my fans who always cheer for me, and to members who always support me.
For now, I want to put my all into looking after my sister with my family, so that I can come back and perform in front of you again, when my sister’s condition and my family situation are settled down.
Please continue to support me.
- Tokyohive
I don't know about you guys, but this is a really admirable thing to do; it's always sad when a family member becomes ill or is taken to hospital, so I really admire this girl for halting her activities to be with her sister and the rest of her family, supporting her sister in getting better and just being there for her when she needs her.

Now, I actually don't know who this girl is, but that doesn't mean I don't respect her for what she is doing, because I do, and I hope that her younger sister gets better soon. Risa seems like a very responsible girl, and I hope the best for her in the next few months as she takes care of her sister.

It has been revealed that C-ute will be releasing their next single on February 6th, and that it will be a cover of Moritaka Chisato's Kono Machi. The single will first be performed live at their December 30th concert.

I'm happy to hear that C-ute will be releasing a new single, though I'm pretty sure that a few people won't be too pleased at the fact that it's a cover, but honestly, I'm pretty happy with it - C-ute have very original songs, but it will be great to see the girls challenge another cover song, because the last they did was Edo no Temari II, right? I think it was...

Anyway, let's anticipate the new single and PV when they come out!

Tazaki Asahi will be making her official debut through the Satoyama movement. Her single, titled Tegami/Rolling Days, will be sold at the Hello! Project winter concert. The single is set to release starting 2nd of January at Nakano Sun Plaza, whilst Neowing and CDJapan ave set the release for January 16th.

As many have already said; I wish she was in H!P, however, I am happy that Satoyama Movement has a soloist. It seems that they are using UFP's talent to their advantage~

I look forward to Tazaki's debut~
