Let's get Fluffy with Afilia Saga East in their new PV, 'Kindan Muteki no Darling'!

All opinions within this post ARE my own, and no one else's. Please respect my opinion and also, respect everyone else's opinions~ Whatever I say about this group, their single and music video are what I truly think and feel - do not get offended at what I say, because we ALL have different views!

Okay, I'm back and I'm ready to churn out a few reviews (and probably other things, who knows?) until the Idol world runs dry once again for a week or two. It's been pretty slow (or at least, to me) and I have become lazy, too. But I'm back and ready to roll!

And so, after not doing anything for a while, let's start with the Angels in Maid costumes...

... er, I mean, super hero-esque cute outfits?

Whatever it is they are wearing, Afilia Saga East, my favourite Maid-costume fetish group, have returned to the Wota world with their newest PV, Kindan Muteki no Darling, which I will have to say is their cutest, most Idol-like PV and song to date! This is a big turn from their last single, Mirai no Watashi Matteiru, which had that familiar Afilia sound to it with a more choir-like tone as well as being quite a hopeful (and sad) song. But this...

Well, let's just say that it's fluffy. Like, really fluffy. I swear, the producers and design crew puked up sparkles when they decided how the video would look.

Don't believe me? Well, let's head into the fluff-fest...

The moment I saw this, I was reminded of Koharu Kusumi's Chance PV, Kare to Issho's opening and Mayuyu's Synchro Tokimeki CD covers.

OMG IT'S SO PRETTY!!!

... Can you tell where the inspiration for my current banner came from, now?

... Yup~

Kyun~

Emiu is adorable, but she looks tired in this xD Love her hair though~

Okay, can I just say I love their costumes and I love that room? They just need BALLOONS FLYING AROUND!

Laura Sucreine looks shocked by Aria's sweet-nothings she whispered into her ear!

Yukafin Doll: Ayami, kawaii~
AyamaI: I know~

Maho is becoming a favourite of mine, I dunno why...

Probably cos' she's the boobs of this group. Or cos she's cute. Who knows?

She's my Aika replacement, but for the wrong group!

Okay, this wouldn't be a pic spam without everyone's resident favourite (everyone's but mine) Kohime!

And seriously, the move where they lift their hands up and down is adorable!

Kurumi LaLa Milk, my first Oshi in Afilia!

... What? After Gardenfairy left, I kinda latched onto Kurumi and Laura Sucreine... And Maho

Hey, I want popcorn too! Also, Aria looks so stunning here~

Sleepover! Want a pillow fight?

Miku Doll really caught my eye in this clip, probably because she was really focusing on eye-fucking that camera and showing us what she's made of.

... Or it was the cat ears. Who knooows?

Can't get enough of their legs, those awesome skirts and that studio set~

Yukafin Doll looks so damn gorgeous in these shots!

But of course, no one can compare to Kurumi! <3 Her sweet face is all I need to feel happy!

And MAHO <3 Dayumn, you work that camera, gurl!~~~

This part of the dance was so cute >3<

Haha, look at Kohime as she's pulled back! Gotta love her expressions!

Yukafin: "Tasukette!~"

Louise Sforzur (I know, their names are really... confusing to remember xD) is such a doll! I love that hairstyle on her! >3< Squee, why are they all so adorable?

Okay, let's pray for new, sexier maid costumes for our fans!

The camera can't help but sparkle for Kurumi! She's just that fabulous!

SPARKLE, BABY, SPARKLE!

Okay, an adorable shot from the adorable Miku - but where are her ears!?

Next PV, have her in a cat costume!

Laura!!!~~~ So adorable, such a natural cutie pie!

Emiu is so sweet and innocent looking, you work that couch, gurl!

Seriously, this room needs those balloons flying around! Come on girls, kick those balloons!

Afilia are looking for their maid costumes! Oh, where art thou Maid costumes!

Damn, so those balloons are just for show! How disappointing!

Okay, firstly, Afilia are back, which always makes me happy. I love watching their videos because these girls have so much personality and they are all seriously adorable. Also, they are very entertaining and can really make a PV fun to watch, because every one of them brings something great (and cute) to the golden Afilia platter.

Secondly... I am loving both of the new members. Laura and Emiu seem to already fit in with Afilia, despite this being their, what, second single? Honestly, I almost forgot that they were still new girls compared to everyone else. (Especially first gen members like Kohime, Aria and Louise) I have also found that I have taken a liking to both of them! Laura because she is just adorable, and Emiu because, for some reason, she has a really intriguing face. My sister noticed it too, and we both quite like her - my sister has actually claimed Emiu as her 'Oshi', though my oshi in Afilia is Kurumi LaLa Milk~

Okay, let's get back to the important stuff...

This has to be Afilia's fluffiest PV to date. It's absolutely adorable! I didn't think that a group like Afilia, despite how adorable they are, could pull of something like this. They've never done it before, so I wasn't really expecting this ball of fluff to come from them. In fact, I was expecting more maid costumes and some more fanservice, but this video is really tame and really cutesy compared to everything else they have done since before now.

The video is one giant affair of cuteness - my first thought when I watched this for the first time was 'it's so fluffy!'. There are plenty of cute shots in this video, such as the girls dancing around in a bright and colourful polka dot room, with balloons on the floor in front of them as they dance. Their costumes are really cute and remind me of super-hero costumes because of the capes, and also remind me of what the Sailor Scouts would wear in Sailor Moon. Then there are the scenes where the girls are together, looking at clothes, holding popcorn and looking extremely adorable in cute clothes as they sing to the camera. Finally, there are the photoshoot shots, where the girls are all posing individually to the camera and smiling innocently as they charm the viewers with their sweetness.

I really enjoyed this video - I didn't know what I would think about it other than that it was 'cute', but after seeing it, I have found that it is also very entertaining to watch, especially the dance scenes. I love that the dance is sectioned into different groups for certain parts, and then the entire group dancing. The moves, though not really that complex, are cute and really add to the charm of the video, though very Idol-like and over-the-top cutesy. Despite how simple and cute the dance was, it was definitely the most entertaining part of the entire video, because it was really fun to watch the girls - especially when the Afilia girls created a bridge for the others to go under, and then the girls had to rewind back with shocked looks on their faces. It was enjoyable and very adorable, and probably the best part of the dance because, honestly, it actually looked like the girls were rewinding.

It's actually a very simple PV, with only three shots throughout the entire three minutes, but it still manages to entertain you and keep you watching it until the very end, because the girls are so wonderful to watch. You somehow want to know who will be shown next, how the dance will go, what girls will be shown, etc etc. I was just hooked on this bundle of cuteness that had come from Afilia Saga East, a group who I thought prioritised itself on fetishes (Maid costumes, bikini's, knee high socks...) and fan service. Well, this PV has proven me wrong, because this video is as Idol-generic as you can get, in a good way. There is no fan service (that I can think of) and the girls are in a costume that any Idol group could wear or pull off. Even without giving fanservice or wearing their maid costumes, Afilia still manage to deliver a great PV, and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this despite the video steering off into a new and different direction for the group.

It's cute, it's fluffy and it is all around adorable. It's a new look for Afilia, but it is also a look they suit right now, especially Kohime. It was a surprising turn, but it definitely works for them.

The song itself is also a surprising turn for the Afilia girls. From the preview, we could only hear the opening and ending tune to the entire song, so I typically thought 'Wow... it's going to sound like most of their other songs...' and I was actually disinterested in this song because of that. What I didn't expect was an extremely cute song that was very different to the opening instrumental.

The song is definitely an Idol song, but it's also really catchy, cute and wonderful to listen to. Okay, so it isn't amazing, it can be quite forgettable too if you haven't listened to it over a million times like I have already, and it doesn't stand out in terms of Idol music in general, but it's a nice song, and it's something different from this group.

I like the entire song, actually - I won't say that I 'love' it, because I don't think that it ranks so high in my list of songs that I love, but I definitely don't hate it either. I could listen to this song for a while, actually, but I would need a break in between and probably listen to some Show Luo or Rainie Yang to kind of ward off the over-bearing cuteness that this song has. By over-bearing cuteness, I mean their voices - Afilia have lovely voices, but they are terribly sickly sweet to the point where they can be annoying if you listen to them for too long. I like their songs, but I also find that the girls are all a tad too squeaky, like they're forcing it because they might not be able to sing that well... I dunno, that's just what I think when I listen to any of their songs. (Especially La*La*La Revolution)

Other than their sickenly sweet voices, the song is pretty good. Nothing ground-breaking, but it's different to other songs I have heard from this group. It's a nice change of pace, and the image they have in this video is a wonderful contrast to their more refined and professional images that they have in their other PV's. Kindan Muteki no Darling is definitely a more carefree, girly PV that is incredibly happy and cute, and will make just about anyone smile. It's sweet, sugary, fun and entertaining to watch, but also brings Afilia back into the Idol world with the generic shots and overall playfulness of the video.

It was interesting to see Afilia take this approach with their music video and song, and I enjoyed it. I just wish that it didn't remind me of Hello! Project's PV's, because honestly, doesn't this video look like something Tsunku would pull out of his hat?

It's cute, it's carefree... It's Afilia! Enjoyable from start to finish, definitely check this video out and see if you like this carefree and girly side to the group, or if you prefer their more refined and polished image as maids!

I enjoyed it, but please, bring back the maid costumes. I miss them~

EDIT: I have reviewed the short version of the song, as I didn't know that the longer version was out, however all opinions are still the same! It's adorable!

Okay! Musume Digest! #2

The week has been pretty slow, hence no updates... also, I've been busy with a few other things so I haven't written any reviews or anything like that, but I have been updating this post every day if there was any interesting news, so yay~ Anyway...

Hello again everyone, and welcome to this weeks edition of Okay! Musume Digest! This time there is plenty more to report on, so a little more to read than last weeks!

Now before I get into this weeks Digest, I would like to give a brief explanation behind the idea of it:

I am hoping to continue this ~Digest~ every week, where I will put in the little bits of news from over the course of the week that I find interesting or relevant, with information that was never wrote up into a full-blown post. Sometimes there are snippets that are released which I take an interest in, but don't necessarily write up because I find that there isn't enough there to go by, so, that is where this Digest comes in. I was actually inspired by Hello! SayuNii's Shuukan Yoro! to do this, but never seemed to put it into place until now.

I will also be using the ~Digest~ for poll results when I do make polls, and will also give my opinions on certain posts. Hopefully I will have a lot to report about, as most of the small things are always updated, such as TV show appearences, CM announcements etc. Basically, it's a news paper in a way, featuring different little bits of news that I have piled up from the week that has happened. I seem to want to keep it all condensed, as this isn't a news blog, but rather, a fan blog.

So, please enjoy the Digest, if you will, and go on forth, young venturer, and see what this week has brought us all (that you have probably read somewhere else, mwahahaha!)

All of the Digest after the break!

Okay! Musume Digest! #1

I'm going to try and keep up with something I like to call a ~Digest~ every week - there may be days where I skip it, due to pure laziness or being out of whack with my blog, but it's basically like the Poll Results I used to do - but different?

Anyway, welcome to Okay! Musume Time Digest! #1. First on the Agenda is...

This weeks poll results came in, with the Number 1 spot being grabbed by:

Urgh. Dot Bikini, by S/mileage. It seems that this song is pretty popular - then again, it's cute and catchy, but it's just not my cup of tea (though I can listen to it without wanting to smash my head against the desk now, and I kinda like it... damn S/mileage songs and the catchiness that they have...).

Dot Bikini is everyone's summer song choice - why? I have no idea! Oh well, everyone likes it, so congrats to S/mileage on winning!

Here are the other poll results!

Manatsu no Sounds Good (AKB48) 32%
Nagiichi (NMB48) 26%
Aishiterabu! (SKE48) 17%
Haina! (NYC) 17%
Miracle Rush (StylipS) 8%
Erepyon (Ono Erena) 5%
Magi (Show Luo) 2%
Ame Tokidoki Hare Nochi Niji 2%

I'm suprised Nagiichi got 3rd

Tanaka Reina has been arrested for looking too damn HAWT in this outfit. That's the news.

Second on the agenda is the surprising news that Tanaka Reina of Morning Musume will be getting her own band within Hello! Project whilst still continuing activities within MoMusu. Auditions for women between the ages of 15-22 are being carried out, and Tsunku is looking for another vocalist (Reina being lead, of course) and a guitarist who can also provide vocals for the chorus. This sudden announcement has lead fans of Morning Musume to believe that her graduation is near, and that this group will become her 'future' career within UFA and possibly Hello! Project - whatever happens, this is a good move on Tsunku's part because then it secures Reina's future, keeps her under lock and key and also means that she will be a song bird forever...

In all seriousness, though, if this does mean that she is graduating soon, I honestly don't want it. Currently Morning Musume only has Reina and Riho to give some sort of vocal stability to the group, because UFA quite obviously don't know how to utilise the other four good singers (Fukumura, Kanon, Ayumi and Haruka) and prepare them for singing up front with Riho herself. So, if that means Reina is graduating soon, we only have Riho as a singer... seriously? I don't want that. The girl is okay as a singer, but she's not exactly an Abe Natsumi, Gotomo or Ai, is she? This is why UFA/H!P should get the other four good singers ready for the front line. Also, I don't agree with all the fans who BS about how Riho is the only capable singer in MM - they clearly forget that Fukumura and Haruka are better singers that Riho. That may be a personal opinion, but it's how I see/hear it.

Okay, rant over - Reina's getting a band, and I am happy about that, but I honestly hope that this isn't the ticket out of Morning Musume for her - I honestly want her in another year tops.

And in other news...

There is not other news.

So, this is what the Digest will most likely be like if I continue with it - Updates on polls, possibly updates on why I am not blogging if I stop for a while and also little updates which I don't really talk about on my blog in general.

So, what are your thoughts on the mini digest? Anyway, hope to blog again soon :P

Mano Erina's Destructive in her 'Song for the Date' PV

All thoughts and opinions within this post are solely my own and no one else's unless otherwise stated. You do not have to like my opinion, you just have to respect it. Thanks!~

Oh hai thar, Tsunky-boi...

When the hell did you get good at music (again)?

Seriously, these past few months it seems like Tsunku has been on a roll ith his music - Chotto Matte Kudasai, Be Genki, Kimi wa Jitensha, Ren'ai Hunter and the epic CHOU Happy Song!. Seriously, this year Tsunku has really brought out the Diamond's, with only a few rocks to offer such as the horrible Dot Bikini and the cute, under-appreciated Pyoko (I love PPU but there are a lot of people who don't, hence why it's a rock), but, other than those two singles, Tsunku's been releasing some pretty awesome stuff.

And I doubt that he's going to let that streak slide just yet, because Mano Erina's latest single, Song for the Date, is all kinds of awesome. It's mature, alluring, different and a slice of absolute wonder that I could never imagine coming out of ManoEri's discography collection. I mean, I wouldn't exactly put that image above to the song or PV that we have been given on a silver platter. I seriously wouldn't - Then again, Mano's Single covers have been all kinds of naturally alluring lately, so I'll let it pass.

The cover is also awesome

This is actually the PV I have been anticipating since a preview was available, actually - I've wanted to see this video more than, well, any of the newer releases which I have recently reviewed. This is the video that I have been dieing to get my hands on, just to watch it - and finally, finally I can watch the video non-stop!

Okay, so to be honest, my first thoughts after reading about this song's title was that it would be a fluffy, cute love song or something to do with a date. Then, when a preview came out, I was surprised by the cool, mature tone to the song - I certainly wasn't expecting it, but the preview made me anticipate this release so much more after that - especially when I saw the small PV portion of it, showing two different Mano's. Even from the preview, I was impressed. I really wanted to see the PV, so when my sister came over and told me it was online, I was pretty happy (though in a half-sleep, half-awake state, too) about it.

And now I'm totally besotted with this song and PV - It's pretty much been on a loop because I like it that much, it's rather addicting!

The video is, of course, stunning - but I will put that down to the fact that UFA seem to have actually given this PV a budget, because it was actually directed by a director. So, of course, there are some amazing shots in this video, a stunningly disastrous set location and a wonderful performance courtesy of Mano Erina herself.

This PV actually has to have one of the best opening sequences of any Hello! Project PV - it opens so wonderfully, with such beautiful shots. It was amazing seeing these sorts of shots coming from a Hello! Project PV! Seriously, I wonder why H!P or UFA haven't done something like this before, because it's pretty amazing.

Aside from the fact that this video has a budget, I think that the video and song both have a lot to offer. The basic plot of the video is that there are two sides to Mano Erina - an older, more womanly side who wants to break free from her other persona, a seemingly innocent Idol character who has binded her so that she can do as she pleases.

Now, I was surprised by how this PV turned out when I began to watch it - in the preview of the PV, you see Dark Mano ripping the posters down whilst White Mano watches on, smiling innocently. I really thought that Dark Mano was the bad guy in this PV, but in a twist of fate and epicness, it's actually White Mano, who I shall now call Bitchy Mano - Basically, her innocence is an act and she's trying to take over Dark Mano, by tieing her up so that she can promote her innocent persona. Or at least that's what I got from the PV.

These scenes remind me of old MoMusu PV's, like, 1998 back in the day
I found it interesting how the roles were switched for these two sides of Mano Erina, but I liked how they portrayed the seemingly innocent Idol-like girl as a rather dark person who was trying to take control whilst restricting her more womanly and mature side. I was interesting to see how Mano was fighting with herself throughout the PV, by ripping down posters of her Idol image and running after herself.

And that's pretty much how the PV goes throughout (other than shots of Mano singing on the beach). Dark Mano chases her 'Innocent' counterpart around the wreckage, tearing down as many posters as she can, whilst White Mano taunts her and acts playful before running away again. It was really interesting to watch, despite the fact that it was simply a chase - I liked how Dark Mano was trying to gain control of herself whilst White Mano thought that it was all a game, and toyed with Dark Mano as she slowly tried to take over, until Dark Mano herself gained full control and destroyed the other side of herself towards the end of the PV.

And the song... Oh the song...

Everything is so right with this song, from the arrangement to the vocals. This is a song that fits Mano's voice beautifully, and really shows off that more alluring and mature side to her that her earlier singles didn't show. She sounds amazing here, even with the auto-tune that was happily thrown in there during some parts, but it all works - Everything works so well together, and the song is so amazing. Thank goodness there isn't that much auto-tune, though, or I probably wouldn't really like this song as much.

It's surprising how this song is called Song for a Date, when it sounds nothing like a song which you would listen to (or think of) when you are going out with your beloved. It's edgy, it's darker than anything else Mano Erina has done, and it's too epic to be classed as a date song. Then again, it could also have a deeper meaning embedded in the lyrics that I don't know about - but I still think that this song is too cool to be classed as a date song. But that's my personal opinion.

Okay, so here's my conclusion:

Mano Erina's performance in this video was absolutely amazing - I love how she showed the corrupted side of herself by feigning innocence, before showing her true colours as she battled against her with her more mature side. This PV basically showed me that this is Mano Erina's coming of age song and video, telling us that she is no longer the cute Idol that she once was, and is now a woman who has been battling that Idol persona whilst trying to act like an adult, before destroying that 'Innocent' side that we all see and taking control and becoming a mature, alluring woman. I loved the symbolism in this - the dress hanging from the lace and wire where she had been bound before, the posters burning that innocent image and how the innocence itself was simply a facade that could easily be erased if you wanted to drop the act.

The PV is absolutely beautiful to watch - I loved every minute of it, and Mano looked gorgeous in every shot, and I love how I was reminded of H!P's earlier releases when MoMusu was just starting. This is, by far, Mano Erina's best PV to date. Whilst I love My Days for You and Tasogare Kousaten, two of her PV's which had more thought put into them than any of her other singles, I do feel that this one comes out on top. Mano's PV's have just been getting better and better lately, and her performance just keeps rising. She keeps on improving and continues to impress me with everything she brings out, and her music is some of the best that H!P has been delivering lately.

Everything about this single A-side is amazing - the song is wonderful and new for Mano, and the video is mature, different and just like a movie. This is a 'Destructive' video that is worth watching. Why destructive, you ask? Because Mano is destroying a side of herself to become someone new, someone different - and I love that. I love this Mano and I really do hope that she keeps this image, and continues to do PV's which have plots to them and are outside, because she is amazing at doing those sorts of videos'.

Seriously, Tsunku, Mano... keep on doing what you are doing, because 2012 has so far been pretty amazing song and PV wise (barr S/mileage) for Hello! Project. Oh, and UFA... keep spending that budget, please!

Seriously... Watch it. You won't regret it.

Where's My Pony?

Heat of the moment PV Overview... er, I mean dance shot.

Okay, so I'm fucking tired but my sister came over all excited, woke me up and told me that the Dance shot ver. of One・Two・Three was uploaded onto Morning Musume's youtube channel. Oh Yipp-fucking-ee.

As you can tell, I am in no mood to really give two hoots about this song (still) - though it was recently battling for dominance in my head with Chou HAPPY Song, but of course for the Berikyuu awesomeness won. But yeah... it sounds a lot better cos' the quality is good, but dance shots do nothing for me at all - give me a real PV and then I might start caring, but with the way this single is heading, I'm probably not gonna buy it... (I will though, cos I promised myself to buy any single that 9th Gen/Zukkini is in).

Anyway, Pro's...

One: Eripon Centre - Thank you!
Two: Riho's wearing Hooker Red - This means I can bitch about hookerness in the PV Review
Three: Said PV Review will hopefully be done drunk... and Baby Predator's a better dancer than Riho.

Con's:

One: Where the fuck is Zukkini?
Two: Why the fuck is Sayummy in the back?
Three: Where the fuck is my pony Zukkini?

Seriously UFA, are you shitting me? Why the fuck is Sayumi put in the back and traded in for Baby Predator, the Shrieking Child (who does particularly well on whoa-whoa's - then again, she's auto-tuned, so meh) and... er, yeah, that's it. For fucks sake, UFA, I want to kick you all. Sayumi's the mother-fuckin'-Leader - choose a better fucking time to shaft her and put her in the back with Zukkini and Iikubon, kay?

This song is made of fuckin' auto-tune - At least give the spotlight to the Queen of Auto-tune, and not the mini minion in Red who needs it just as much. Hell, if it's all auto-tune - give lines to the girls who don't get them as much, it might, oh, y'know, PROMOTE THEM?

Also - Zukkini in the back, wtf?

I'm hoping that the PV and the Matenrou Show really exceed my expectations or at least help this single to appeal to me besides the costumes because this 50th single is currently really pissing me off.

Then again I'm in bitchy mood. Oh well, fuck being nice. I'm 'meh-ing' over this single and slowly beginning to hate it.

I'll be back when the real PV is out with close-ups and shit, and hopefully I'll be drinking by then.

Oh, bright spot: At the start of the video I got excited, but then Meh'd before it even got to the chorus. Truth.

...So I liked some of it for a brief moment :/

PASSPO☆ are Flying Higher in their 'Next Flight' PV!

All thoughts and opinions regarding the PV, song and group are my own, and solely my own, unless otherwise stated. This blog is filled with my opinions, and if you don't like my opinions, then simlpy move along and find a blog which suits your tastes. If you like my opinions... sit down, relax, have a cup of tea and a biccie, kick back and enjoy.

It's been a while, PASSPO☆.

So, continuing with my Summer-PV Bonanza, we're going to head into darker territory with PASSPO☆'s latest, Next Flight. Last year, the group brought out their first summer PV, including bikini's, but this year they are taking a brand new approach - and how welcoming it is!

Now I've been on the fence with PASSPO☆ as of late, especially with their last single, which was an absolute piece of boring sh** in my opinion, so I wasn't really expecting a lot from this PV. I didn't get excited, I didn't anticipate it, but I knew that I wanted to watch it to see how they would approach their latest single, considering the last one was the most dull thing ever created. Let's just say that I had a bit more hope for this single, especially after seeing the costumes for the first time.

And, thank the Holy Lordeh Gaki, PASSPO☆ have brought another wonderful PV! Yay for learning from mistakes!

Actually, the PV's pretty basic all the way through - so it has a much simpler concept than what Kimi wa Boku Fail does, but funny thing... PASSPO☆ make this work better, mostly because of how edgy and fierce it is in comparison to their previous PV's. The video may be simple, but the execution of the PV is very well done, and it works well for PASSPO☆.

The PV layout is basically what you see here: Flat landscape, a plane in the background, a band (woohoo!) and the girls themselves, bringing colour and life into the PV. With all of these elements put together, you get a wind-blown, dust-cloud, epic filled PV which is both entertaining and cool. I was so surprised that PASSPO☆ had only used the one location, but also pleasantly surprised that they had created a good PV with just themselves and the background (and the band). This PV was also a nice change from the fluffyness that we usually get in most Idol PV's, because seriously, these girls rocked this video.

I'm going to begin by saying that they all look sexy as Hell. I originally thought that, because of their hot pink outfits, this PV was going to be another girlish Idol affair, much like their last few releases - but I was completely wrong. Even with big poofy skirts, hot pink clothes and their lovely appearances, these girls look so beautiful and sexy. Especially Mio-Mio:

You should watch her as she leans on the plane oh-so-exotically
This PV certainly showed off the womanly charm that is PASSPO☆, and not just how cute and fluffy we think they are. But, not only do we get to see the womanly charm of the group, but also the fierce and dark side to these girls. This song is quite heavy, so it needs quite a lot of fierce moves and fierce looks in it, and the girls really pulled that off - they looked and felt like they were angry, wrathful and edgy. Their dance moves were sharp and fit the music, and I really enjoyed the mood the video gave off. It was extremely exciting seeing PASSPO☆ like this, and it made me want to watch them more and more, because how they looked and presented themselves was addicting.

The choreography was enjoyable, the costumes brought a great amount of contrast to the scene, and I thought that the outside scene was great - the dust clouds and the wind blowing against the girls created a great effect and made the video feel more like a war zone than anything, making the video really cool and different. I liked that the girls had to dance against the wind and dust. Heck, you can see the effect the wind and dust has in these pictures! It's pretty epic in my opinion.

Thank you, nature!

Bow down to me, you worthless minions!
Even PASSPO☆ themselves are bowing down to this PV, it's that awesome!

The song is, as I said previously, quite heavy. I think it's rock, but honestly I can't distinguish Metal or rock from each other, so forgive me for now. Whilst I am not a keen fan of heavier music, I do like PASSPO☆'s style because it's that bit softer and more poppy, but when the instrumental started when I listened to this song for the first time, I was pretty sure that I wouldn't like it at all, but I ended up liking it quite a lot. It's heavy, yes, but it has that very recognisable PASSPO☆ sound to it which I adore.

The darker tone to the song is also really appealing for me, because it's something that I haven't really heard from PASSPO☆ yet. I love how the girls all sound - energetic and fierce, like they're fighting for something. Now, I honestly have no idea what the song is actually about, but I'm supposing that it's about hope of some sort, considering they may be singing about their 'Next Flight' and how they will fly - if it's about love, I shall roll my eyes and shake my head in disappointment.

They look like swans, haar
But the song is really enjoyable - it's wonderful to listen to, and it's different from all the other Summer PV's that have come out. It's darker, exciting, and it's somewhat anticipating. The PV may have a simple concept, but by God, it's a beautiful concept too. PASSPO☆ are amazing - their performance was absolutely beautiful, it kept me wanting more and I enjoyed how much more grown up the PV felt and how much darker it was and how fierce the girls looked.

The overall performance of the PV was wonderful - I enjoyed it from beginning to end, I thought that the shots were done beautifully, and I felt that the girls really gave it their all. It's a wonderful PV with many different shots, but one location.

Let's just say that my faith in PASSPO☆ has now been restored thanks to Next Flight, and also, I'm so glad that they steered away from the stereotypical Idol-bikini PV this time around, because this cool and edgy PV is the sort of thing that I like to see (and take notice of) in the stream of bikini-clad, sweet-sounding Idol PV's and songs.

Go on, check it out - I dare ya.
