The Dog That Knows Freedom Barks The Loudest - A Look At Keyakizaka46's 'Glass wo Ware!' Music Video (Review)

Having already reviewed this on YouTube, I realised pretty quickly that I wanted to continue my thoughts and feelings towards Keyakizaka46's Glass wo Ware! in words. This is to not only further my understanding of the music video and its lyrics, but to also touch upon a few scenes and ideas that I may have neglected to include or even see in my initial review. It's also a great reason to return to a more serious tone in PV Reviews. You know, the ones I rarely do these days.

In line with things that are rarely done, throughout this review I will include snippets of the lyrics. Because the theme intrigues me, I thought it would be fitting, but for the full effect of what this song about, please look towards Sakamichi Dreams' translation of the song.

As to why I chose Garasu wo Ware! for a review, it has to be because it's my favourite of the songs and videos I have watched by the group. It's also the video that left the strongest impression on me, not only because of its visuals, but because the lyrics are powerful yet degrading. It is an impressive track with an equally expressive music video, one that is worth any persons time.

[Music Selection] April 2016: Music Side

Hello all, and welcome to the month of May, where Summer should officially begin and the Idol PV's hopefully blossom into something airy and bright! And as per my schedule, I do believe it's time for a little April love in Idol Music! Yee-haw! First off, the intro!

Music Selection is a monthly series in which I share the music and videos from the month gone by that I have enjoyed, mostly from the J-pop side. I will of course include some previous releases from way back when, a few months ago and so on. No matter what though, it is all going to be music that I have loved and liked listening to, as well as what I recommend to you all if you dare to chance the listen. Yus!

As per usual, all songs and videos posted within these Selections are subject to my own opinion, and I do not expect anyone to agree with me or to even like what is posted. Just because I enjoyed it, doesn't mean you have to. We all have our own tastes, and honestly, my only aim here is to share and suggest, and from there it's basically all up to you.

Suggesting's the game, sharing's the na--- oh no wait, Selection's the name! Oops :p

Also, if you guys have anything you want to share and suggest, please do so! It's fun to share your music tastes and see if we like it, too, and it can get us into discovering some hidden gems we might have overlooked! Y'never know just who you can get addicted to that one group you love in the near future, aye?

And finally, this series is for fun, as well as to allow me to keep up to date with musical releases from the Idol scene each month. It allows me to find songs I enjoy, whilst also introducing me to some groups I might not care for as much, or allowing me to realise how good a group is that I did not care about before. Either way, this is for fun, and it is something I enjoy doing. So... yay!

*This is Part 2 in my March Selection series. Due to finding so many PV's delightfully entertaining, I felt it best to break the pots apart for a Music Side and PV Side, respectively. Thank you for your understanding.

Music Selection is a series of monthly posts in which I list the Music and Videos I have enjoyed from the month gone by, including songs thats I have may have enjoyed from months or years prior to the one mentioned. Included will be some spiel as to why I have chosen the songs or MV's, just so y'all know what I liked about it, and what not. This is to give you an idea of what has been released in the Idol world, and to pique your interest in groups you may not have thought to look at yet, or did not even know existed until now.

As per, everything written and mentioned here is subject to opinion and taste, so if something you have enjoyed has not been listed here, do not fret; it just so happened it was not my cuppa tea. I also do not expect you to take my word as the Holy Grail, or something of that nature. I am simply listing and suggesting, and also hoping you all share your favourite songs and MV's of the month with me, too!

This is simply a series made for fun and happiness, and to share with you all what I have enjoyed! It's supposed to be a little bit positive, and to be shared! I can't always be a negative ninny, you know!
