[Single Selection 2016] Single Recommendations So Far (According to Chiima)

... So, it is September already, and soon it will be October. Already I have failed in what I originally planned to do; create a post called a 'Single Selection', where I had aimed to post my favourite singles from the Half-Year gone by. I wanted to recommend to everyone what I found the most entertaining in terms of single releases from the first 6 months of 2016, however... I didn't. I don't know why. Time was not an issue, so it comes down to the fact I procrastinated. For that, I'm sorry.

However, I am not going to let that stop me from posting these recommendations, even if the post itself is 3 months late. No, instead I will just throw in some singles from the other months that I have enjoyed, because I still want to recommend to you all the single releases I have thoroughly enjoyed, and let you know what I consider the pinnacle of 2016 thus far.

Also, I like lists, and I like explaining why I like things, so I won't let this go to waste! No. Freakin'. WAY! It's too good to let go, y'know!?

So, with this list, I will follow a similar pattern to my Music x PV Selection posts. Here, I will give you the singles I find worth your time, and I will try my darndest to explain just why they are so great. So, for the past 9 months of 2016, what have I been listening to, and which singles listed here will you recognise?

[Music Selection] July 2016

Happy August to you all! Hopefully summer has been treating you well thus far, and that your July went off without a hitch, and that you listened to lots of great Idol Music along the way! For me, I actually didn't listen to that much Idol music, because for 12 days of my July, I was off in Poland with my friend, going around Gliwice, Katowice and Krakow, discovering a few things and trying my hand at saying 'hello' and 'thank you' in Polish! So, yeah, I didn't listen to a lot of music unless I had some down time and did some writing... and even then, it was mostly music from February to June, so nothing new!

So, if this July post feels a bit scarce, I do apologise, but I wasn't going to listen to new J-pop music 24/7 when I was away! Still, I listened to some, and about three singles popped out, so those are the three you're getting, for now xD Sorreh! Maybe a few July songs will pop up in the August post, hm?

ANYWAY, with that all said and done, as per the usual, the idea behind [Music Selection] is to love and share music I have heard from the month before, and other past months, to give you an idea of what I have personally been obsessing over during the month of July, August, and so on so forth. Because this is a personal list, if there are songs that are not on here, do not get offended; it's usually because I have either A) Not heard them, or B) didn't like them, and if I didn't enjoy what you did, well... music is subjective! I can't like everything, my mind does not work that way!

I also have a [PV Selection] post that comes out monthly, as well, however... I might not have one this month, due to the fact I did not watch any videos for July due to panicking, preparation and being away with barely any internet, so... apologies for that! O-O

Aaaaaand with all that said and done... let's look at some music! What did I enjoy in July? Let's find out, whoooo

[Music Selection] May 2016: Music Side

Howdy there y'all, and welcome back to my Monthly Selection, where I share with you my favourites in Music and Video from the Month(s) gone by! We have just come into June, a month where the sun is high and the evenings warm. Hopefully the summer days will be kind to us all, and heck, I might even get a tan if I'm lucky!

Anyways, as per usual, I am here with my Music Selection for the past month that was May. Will there be anything here that you will enjoy, too, or something you enjoyed just as much as I did?

As per freakin' usual, all songs listed here are subject to my opinion. You don't have to agree with me, you don't need to like what I did, and you sure as heck don't have to have the same tastes as I do! This post is simply here to give a general look into what I personally enjoyed, and for you to check out a few songs yourself to see if ought or nought takes your fancy. We have our own unique tastes, some which may collide and hug it out, however you don't need to like what I do. Just read on, have fun, and check out some music!

Also, if you have your own suggestions and favourites, please leave them here with me, or create your own post about them! It'd be fun to get an idea of what everyone else enjoys!

Suggesting is the game of it all, and Selection's in the name. It's like a mild form of Hunger Games, where the songs battle it out and what not, you know? xD

It's just a series made for fun, and to share music with you guys as well as to help me keep on top of current and past releases. It also makes my list compilation for the end of the year a damn sight easier, let me tell you! It's like my own shared archive, y'know? Yeah, you know! :D

[Music Selection] March '16: PV Side

*This is Part 2 in my March Selection series. Due to finding so many PV's delightfully entertaining, I felt it best to break the pots apart for a Music Side and PV Side, respectively. Thank you for your understanding.

Music Selection is a series of monthly posts in which I list the Music and Videos I have enjoyed from the month gone by, including songs thats I have may have enjoyed from months or years prior to the one mentioned. Included will be some spiel as to why I have chosen the songs or MV's, just so y'all know what I liked about it, and what not. This is to give you an idea of what has been released in the Idol world, and to pique your interest in groups you may not have thought to look at yet, or did not even know existed until now.

As per, everything written and mentioned here is subject to opinion and taste, so if something you have enjoyed has not been listed here, do not fret; it just so happened it was not my cuppa tea. I also do not expect you to take my word as the Holy Grail, or something of that nature. I am simply listing and suggesting, and also hoping you all share your favourite songs and MV's of the month with me, too!

This is simply a series made for fun and happiness, and to share with you all what I have enjoyed! It's supposed to be a little bit positive, and to be shared! I can't always be a negative ninny, you know!

*Due to this post including more songs and MV's than expected, I will be splitting the post into two - A 'Music' side, and a 'PV' side. I hope you enjoy the two posts that will come to you all! <3

Music Selection is a monthly series in which I share with you all the music and videos from the month gone by that I have enjoyed, along with a few other songs from past weeks, months or years that I have also loved listening to. Included will be a little bit of spiel as to why I enjoyed the songs and videos chosen, whilst hopefully giving you an idea of what songs and groups to watch out for in your journey through this big, wide world of Idols.

Of course, all songs and videos are subject to opinion, so if there is something you have enjoyed that is not on here, or something you absolutely abhor that is listed, please be aware that this is simply my list of songs I liked and what I suggest, and that you do not have to even like them as I do. I am just suggesting and listing, and I do not expect people to take my word that these are holy grail, God-tier songs, cause more often than not... they aren't (because I have terrible taste in music, y'know).
