[PV Selection] November '17

IT'S FUCKIN' EARLY, WHAT!?

It's the final Music Video Selection of 2017, which can only mean one thing...

IT'S CHRISTMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!!!! And Duu's Graduuation month ;^; Let's just cancel that last one, okay? >o>

We're at the end of the years selection posts, which means that now I will dedicate myself to the final reviews of the year! Of course, as with every December since 2012-ish (or 2013, who knows?) I will be writing out Christmas reviews, and my final Year End posts. Of course, this December will also have a dedicated slot to my Graduuation posts. I don't want to do it, because Duu is leaving far too soon... but it must happen. Le sigh.

Anyways, as per the usual, these are the videos chosen from the month gone by! Though my tastes will not match everyone's, please do respect my choices, and also, remember that I am one person, and what I think about a video or what I enjoy about can differ greatly from the thoughts of others. Plus, I may have not seen a lot of the PV's released for the month of November; some could be blocked in my country, or I never found them.

And of course, there is also the fact I might not like a video. It happens, and again, tastes vary. I can't apologise for not enjoying something XD

Finally, if you do want me to watch something - whether I have seen it already or not - please don't hesitate to suggest it to me! It's good to look back, see what you see, and reconfigure my thoughts. I'm not gonna say no to re-watching a video, after all!

[PV Selection] October '17

I'm hella late with this, but surprisingly, I'm still in the month of November. What in the heckity-heck?

It's because I need to get these November posts out, before December hits. I have a full month ahead of me, and I honestly can't afford to lose a day of it. So, let's get this over with. ARE YA READY KIDS? 8U

As per the usual spiel I drag out before these posts, here lies the videos that I have personally enjoyed from the month gone by. Any that do not appear, have been neglected for a reason. Perhaps I have not watched them, or maybe I did, and if I have, then there is the chance that I did not like the video, or I intended to add it, but my opinion on it changed, and it was taken out.

There is also the possibility that the videos you enjoyed from the month gone by are blocked in my country, cause y'know, Youtube and entertainment companies hate me.

Of course, you do not have to like what I like. I am simply listing videos that entertained and appealed to me, in the hopes of introducing you to groups, songs and videos that you haven't really cared to look up before now. These are also here to catalogue the videos of the year that I have preferred over others, to help me in my end of year lists.

Oh, and because prettiness. It's always nice to see pretty videos that can be visually captivating.

[PV Selection] July '17

The lack of internet almost defeated me, and I was going to give you an unfinished post, missing out a few MV's. However, I saved the link for where I find all my Idol PV's from my horrible laptop, and hurrah, I was able to finish the list! Turns out, I didn't pick that many PV's for the last few listed here, anyways, but ah, well! At least I got to see everything I needed to see!

And now, it's time to get on with the post! What did July have in store for us all, and did you enjoy as many - if not more - as I did? It's time to check them out~

As per the usual, it's time to give all the disclaimers and what not! Of course, this is my own blog, so all videos listed here are the ones that I have enjoyed throughout the year, and are based on my preferences, not yours. I am one woman, and I compile these lists for the fun of it, and also as an archive for all the PV's I see throughout the year. You don't have to like what I like, and you don't have to enjoy it just because I say I do. Your mind is your own, and I know you will pick what fits your taste buds.

Also, if there is a video absent from this post that you enjoy, this could mean a number of things. Either I never watched it, do not know it's available, could not watch it (due to region restrictions) or, I did not enjoy it myself. That does not mean anything, it just simply means it wasn't something that impressed me that much to make it on here, or tickled my fancy at the time. That is how it is.

[PV Selection] May '17

I'm late to the PV party once again, but let's not dwell on that. We have some videos to watch and get through, so let's begin this ritual of music and visuals! Are you ready to check out some Idol PV's, and see which ones suit your tastes?

Once again, I have delayed my PV Selection post by a month. Let's pray the same doesn't happen to June's posts, because I have things that need to get done. Still, what's done is done, and I will move forward, like I normally do, and give you all the low down on my favourite PV's from May '17! It's always better to be late, than to never have the post arrive!

As per the usual, any videos posted here are the ones that I found amusing. I will not post what I dislike on this list, because it is a collection of what has entertained me over the course of a month. If a PV isn't here, then I either didn't like it, or thought it wasn't worth the words, or I've missed it completely. But, if you want to voice your preferred videos, then please do! Sharing is caring, after all!

Of course, all opinions are my own here, too. Don't like what I say? Well, just accept it. I don't bow down to other peoples ideas and opinions, just to make them happy. I'd rather be disliked, and know myself, than to lose myself to be liked. That's just how I work here. This is a solo blog, and I want to do what makes me happy, and say what I feel! So, there we go!

[PV Selection] March '17

AAAAAND I am hella late with this one, and honestly, what excuse can I give this time? Deadlines... Trips abroad... Yeah, those are the two excuses I have, and I'll stick with them, cause they are the truth. I was a busy bee last month (and early this month), and yes, life trumps blogging. I did what I had to in order to keep on top of deadlines, and also to spend as much time enjoying myself as possible.

Who said I have to keep to a blog schedule? Er, me. And yet I break that promise I make myself XD Oh, welp~

Anyway, it's time! Let's talk Music Videos! Ya ready for a Month-Late March PV Selection? :p

As always, all Music Videos added to the list are subject to my opinions and personal taste! If there is something in here you dislike, or something absent that you enjoyed, chances are, I was not all that keen, or did not find it as riveting as your wonderful self. That is how taste works, my dears, but suck it up! We can't all enjoy the same thing, can we now?

Of course, what I put on here does not stop you from enjoying what you love, so I say, make a list yourself, or just share your favourites with someone via word of mouth! Sharing is caring, after all, and we should all let people know of our love for Idols! So, why not share? ;)

Houkago Princess Selection: The Top 5 PV's New (and Old!) Fans Should See!

When celebrating 5 years of Houkago Princess, I often look back to their videos, and see just how much these girls have grown, how much they improved, and how drastically the quality of their videos have changed... and believe me, people, the quality has upped itself quite a damn lot, especially when you put Oshiete Kudasai and Seishun Mermaid next to one another.

It's truly impressive, if you ask me; they started from the very bottom, and right now, they're paving their way higher up the mountain that is the Idol world. I feel so proud of them, let me tell you!

So, in my quest to deliver you all Houkago Princess posts in celebration of their 5 years upon this Earth, I will be sharing with everyone today a small collection of what I personally consider some of their best Music Videos, and hopefully, I will introduce you to some of their charms when performing in front of a camera! Are you ready?

Now, whilst I would have loved to give you a Top 10 Music Videos List, I have to admit that it'd be a bit difficult; for one, I can't seem to get Dailymotion videos to work here all the time, and secondly, I don't actually think HouPri have 10 good videos. 5, yes, but 10? That's a stretch, because whilst each year has seen their video quality rise, their videos have only truly been great since around late 2013, early 2014. So, it's a difficult thing, to pin-point 10 good music videos out of the 18 they have released (and tried to erase from youtube, actually).

Hence why I'm settling with the Top 5. It'll be a lot easier, and the videos will definitely be the higher-quality ones. Alas, that might mean you've already seen them... they'll be the most recent bunch, obviously.

Of course, what is suggested here for you to watch, and what I have ranked is completely subjective; have my tastes, as do you, so even if I found say, one video appealing, you might dislike it greatly, and find another HouPri PV that suits your tastes better. So, do take that into consideration... however, I am trying to deliver to you all what I think others would enjoy, as well as what I myself like from HouPri's small video collection.

And so, without further hesitation, let's take a look at what I might consider some of HouPri's best PV's, whether it's in look or its aesthetic! Will your favourite be presented here, or will there be something new to enjoy? Read and watch on to find out!

2015 in Video: The Okay! Musume Time Music Video Awards

Within this post, there are much opinions to be contained. If one may feel offended by words or the decisions I have made for this list, please let it be known that you need not read. For here lies a list of my own, made by my own mind, and if you wish to dispute, please do, however be sure to know that this is my final decision, and that it shall not, will not, be changed. Good day.

As the year comes to a close, I have taken the time to look back at this years offerings in the form of Music Videos, picking and choosing between the many I have seen to try and divulge which will be best for this list, and which will only just make it into the Honorable Mentions pile at the very end. I wonder just who will make it, and who will bit the dust?

With the PV's viewed and my decisions made, I wish to present to you all this years Music Video Awards Post of 2015. Who has made it, and who reigns #1 supreme? Enter, and you shall see...

... Okay, I went a tad over the top with my opening, however, YES, we are making our way through the End of Year Posts for 2015, and finally I have gotten to the part I have the most expertise in; VIDEOS!!! Seriously, I can't wait to get into this one, because gosh darnit, I love videos!!!

This post is always one of the hardest to conduct, because I try my darnedest to choose only a handful of videos each year, and usually these are the videos that I found spoke to me the most, or at least, entertained me a whole lot throughout the year. For some, I really loved the visuals, for others, it's the camera work... things like that are what stick out to me, and honestly, when both visuals and camera work come into play... well, I'm a puddle of happiness, because good videos just make me feel so energised! It makes me want to film, they inspire me so. Plus, I can't help but feel giddy after watching a genuinely good video!

 Honestly, I do wish more people were as enthusiastic as I am when it comes to even the simplest of videos, because it is an amazing feeling to genuinely adore a video for not only its production value, but everything else about it, too.

... Buuuut, I am a video freak, so maybe it's better people aren't like me in that sense. Hm...

Anyways, before this intro gets stupidly lengthy and derails even further, I want to say that, for this list, I have included PV's that I remember the most from the year gone by, for whatever reason may be stated within the post itself, as well as the videos that have impacted me most, whether it is visually or in its camera work. I have watched a lot of music videos year, but honestly, there were not that many that stood out like the ones listed here did, whether that is in a good or a bad way. Somehow, they stuck out, and so they are listed here, and the final one that is to be mentioned before the Honorable's... well, that's the PV that I think the most highly of, as well as my Number One pick for the year of 2015.

 Also, please not that, whilst I've watched plenty of videos this past year, I have not watched them all, and please, don't get offended if I have not listed your favourite music video of 2015. This is a subjective list, one that contains my choices, the videos that I found to make or break my video-loving year. There is a chance that I have not seen a video you liked, or that I even liked it myself.
