[Snippets of Haachin] The Haachin Experience - Performance Selection (Mini-Reviews)

[Snippets of Haachin] - also known as [A Week with Haachin] - is a week-long series in which I dedicate myself to all things Ogata Haruna. Whether it is a PV Review, Birthday Live viewing or something else, this series dedicates itself to watching the growth and wonder of Ogata Haruna before her upcoming Graduation on June 20th, 2018.

Even with minimal screen time and few solo lines, let's look back at Ogata Haruna's 4 years as an idol and adore her from afar. It's time to celebrate and fall in love once again with this idols smile and sweet nature...

Despite Haachin already graduating from Morning Musume '18 on June 20th, I plan on finishing these posts as soon as I can (all without becoming stressed or damaging my work life) and appreciating the heck out of her as much as humanly possible, because yes, she is worth it. That, and I really didn't plan out or time the posts that well beforehand, so I will repent for my sins and finish what has been started (let's hope I finish this, at least).

So, without further delay I give you this: a small but satisfying selection of songs that showcase our dear Haachin in a live setting, one where we can truly enjoy her as an idol on the stage. Though she might not have dominated the platform like many before her, and whilst she does not have the voice of an angel, this was still a place where could watch her shine a little more brightly and where we could truly appreciate the hard work, efforts and her smile even more.

Even though she wasn't given the time to shine as much others in line distribution or camera presence, we can still watch over her time as an idol and look back fondly at the memories she created. It's time to adore Haachin a little more and look back at the few lines she was given throughout the years. Are you ready to reminisce?

[A Week with Zukki] A Smile so Bright that can be Seen from Afar! [Performance Selection à la Zukki]

All thoughts are my own. Done.

*[A Week with Zukki] is a series dedicated to the and only Suzuki Kanon, to both celebrate her and to prepare for her up-coming departure from both Morning Musume and Hello! Project. Here I hope to appreciate and adore the Idol who has brought me such joy, as well as to share with you some of her best works in her time as an Idol. So in order to celebrate all that is Zukki and her wonderful smile, let's take this journey together and think of her with fondness and joy. Before she dares Graduate, let's enjoy this wonderful Idol as much possible, and smile as we do so!

When planning out this series formy last week with Suzuki Kanon, I had a good idea of what I wanted to do for it, and planned on a PV Review for my second post, much like I had done with my [A Week with Meimi] series. Thing is, I hit a giant wall of mental block when looking at earlier PV's featuring our beautiful Zukki, because let's face it; she's not shown a ton in most videos after her debut. That privilege actually went to my other MoMusu love, Eripon, so no matter what I reviewed from Zukki's first two years in H!P, I wouldn't get a lot of imagery that included her.

So, because of that giant road block that caused a spanner in the works for my series, I've decided to focus on three PV's from her last two or so years in MM later on in the series, and for today focus on some of my favourite performances from our dear Zukki instead of the PV Review I had hoped to write.

Also, I would like to apologise for the delay with this post, however I headed home today, so had to pack and sort things out the night before, rather than writing up this post. It is what it is, I suppose.

So, without further ado, let's take a look at some of my favourite performances from our darling Zukki, and enjoy this girl as a performer, an Idol, and of course the wonderful singer that she is!

[A Week with Meimi] The Littlest Vampire's Enormous Voice [Performance Selection à la Meimi]

All thoughts and opinions within this post are, as per usual, my own and nobody else's, unless otherwise stated. If you do not enjoy what is being said regarding these songs and / or member, or disagree with me to a point where you cannot stand what is written, then you can turn away and leave this blog. Otherwise, please do enjoy whatever nonsense I spout!

*Regarding the [Week with...] series: When the time arises, I will dedicate myself to a week of posts where I write and talk about specific members or groups who are Graduating, and for this series, I will be spending my time talking about and appreciating Tamura Meimi of both S/mileage and ANGERME as her Graduation comes ever closer. The intention behind such a series is to focus on Meimi as an Idol and member, and to go through her growth as a performer. I watch as she evolves, and come to appreciate who she is by the end of it. Hopefully, you will take this journey with me, and see Tamura Meimi: The Idol, the Performer, the essence of a smile. Thank you.

In this kind of series, I aim too look at Meimi as an Idol and Performer, and of all the current Hello! Project members to date, Tamura Meimi is one of those rare girls who seems to be an all-around Idol. She has the voice, the looks, the personality, the dance skills, and of course the acting bug. She's a star, one with a cute face and powerful vocals that really surprises you when she opens her mouth and sings. She takes you in and keeps you there, and sometimes she can even send chills down your spine.

Simply put, Tamura Meimi is amazing, and despite her short time as an Idol, she really did deserve more than two solo songs, because damn, she was - is - one of ANGERME's best.

In this post, I will be looking at Tamura Meimi's two solo songs, Mo nana nai to Kime ta from the stage play LILIUM, and her solo of Yume Miru 15sai from SMILE FANTASY, as well as a select few duet and solo performances from concerts or events that Meimi has participated in during her time as a Hello! Project member, all in order to appreciate the big voice this girl holds.

So, without further ado, let's look at Tamura Meimi as a singer on stage in this small Performance Selection, and appreciate this girl's enormous voice.
