Grab Your Pitch Forks, Airi's now a Whore!!! BURN THE WITCH!!! [RANT TIME!!!!]

Pleas take into consideration that these are my thoughts, and I am going to get emotional. It's a rant; expect me to be a bit of a bitch here.

If you want a more logical, well-thought out read, and not a rant, please check this link:

Also, the Blog translation of Airi's apology post, thanks to Takamaruyo forums:

Erm... What the Fresh Hell did I come home to? Seriously, what the damn Hell?

Okay, let me clear a bit up first; a few days ago, a picture was posted on Facebook somewhere showing Suzuki Airi, the back of her head to be exact, sitting beside a guy on a bus. Yeah, that was pretty much it, and for a few days nothing else was said.

... Well, that was until Airi posted on her blog apologising for what had happened, and telling her fans that they were nothing ore than acquaintances. So now it's a scandal.

... The. Fuck?

Okay, are we being completely bloody serious here? She sits next to a guy, on her way home from classes, and someone tweets, instagrams or whatever the hell they do with images nowadays, and it is a scandal? Because she conversed with someone, made a friend in class, and sat beside them? Really, now? REALLY? This is so fucking stupid, I can't even...

Oh wait, I'm sorry, I'm being too irrational right now, aren't I? Sorry for over-fucking-reacting to the situation we are in. I forgot that Idols aren't allowed to breathe the same air as the opposite gender unless they are a Wota and have that 'privilege'. Oh well, too bad, she's sullied goods now. Pack your bags, Airi, you're going home. We don't want you in C-ute, now. Whore. Harlet.

... Okay, that one was a bit over the top, but you know what I mean. Yes, okay there is a little more to it (apparently), such as how she has messaged him on her blog and such, and that she meets up with him... but seriously, who cares? Okay, no dating, I get it, but if she is friends with him, then really... who cares, and what can we do? I know that Airi, as an Idol, has rules to follow, and has an image and reputation to uphold, but sometimes I do feel like the Wota take this sort of shit out of hand and make a mountain out of a mole hill, all because their 'pwecious Idol' breathed the same air as another human being who she shares a class with in University.

Seriously... When the hell did this:

Turn into this?

... URGH!!!

This, to me, is really stupid. I find it incredibly baffling and idiotic beyond belief that Airi sitting next to a guy, conversing with him and such, can cause such an uproar, to the point where Airi has to apologise for sitting beside someone. It is incredibly ridiculous, and it really riles me up. If it didn't, I would not be writing this post.

I know that my energy on getting riled up about this is pointless here, but I really did need to get it across, in my own way. Airi, as an Idol, especially one of her status in H!P, will always be subject to these sorts of things; people will deliberately try to get her into trouble because they can and they might find it funny, or because someone is jealous or something, but I do honestly find it stupid that this is being labelled as a scandal for the pure fact that she sat next to the guy. What next? Will her fans burn her photos when she talks to her father or brother, because they are, gasp, male? Either way, this is ridiculous, and it just makes me wonder about how stupid the no-dating rule is as a whole now, and how ridiculous some fans (not all, some) can be.

... But, if she really did get into a scandal, then what? This is not AKB48 we are talking about, but H!P and UFP; they have a very different way of playing that field whenever a member of theirs is caught up in a scandal; they will either ignore it, like they tried to with Miki (she just left) and Miyabi, or they would totally boot Airi out and shun her from the public eye (like Mari right now).

Again, I find all of this commotion over Airi sitting next to a guy who she apparently converses with quite a bit pretty fucking stupid and unbelievable, and yes, I know... I am adding my own timber and fuel to the damn fire by making this post, but seriously, I wanted to rant and express how idiotic I think all of this. Seriously... she isn't pregnant through touching his arm or breathing in his deathly 'human male' spores, she just sat next to the guy!

But nope, she's a whore, clearly. She's a whore because she is social in her University class, and made a friend. And if he is more than that? Well, what do I care? What we don't know doesn't hurt us!

Ya never know though, if this guy takes pictures of her topless and sends them to Friday, she may become super popular and the next MoBeKiSuJ song, if it ever happens, will be a parade dedicated to her with Airi as the front and centre.

... Yeah, that's all I gotta say. Rant over, I'm sleepy now. Night y'all!

Okay! Musume Digest #29

It's time for our Weekly Digest! Digesto Taimu, yatta!

This week has been pretty slow, I guess... The start of the week had a lot of great news, but then it kind of went slow afterwards, to the point where I procrastinated and didn't write anything until more news came out... Oh well, you have your highs and your lows, right?

In terms of news, I think that Fudanjuku have really had a good week... 10,000 fans on their facebook page in a month (WOW), their new single MV as been released, and they have covers for their song as well! So, for this group, it's been great - which I love because I love them!

This week is a mixed bag I think; plenty of other groups outside of H!P have news to contribute, which I think is great, whether it's concerning a new release or not, as well as the usual H!P extravaganza of news and all... well, I'll leave you guys to read it, but firstly we need to check out a video!

Video of the Week

Forest Time by Harvest!

Every time I think of this song, I mentally call it Harvest Time. No idea why... Anyway, SATOYAMA's youtube channel finally brought out the MV, or at least the Close-up and Friends version, which is just as good in my opinion. I love the song itself, and the girls' chemistry reminds me of Old S/mileage, before it was screwed up... Not that the new members are bad, I like the new members, but I miss Sakitty and Yuukarin who bailed because of the change.

Anyway, it's really cute, so definitely check it out! This be ma JAM for now, until I begin listening to Christmas songs all over again...

Anyway, moving on...

Poll Results!

It's time for those poll results! Last week I asked you if I should continue to do the Request Week either Annually or regularly, or if I should review Big Bang more! Well the votes are in, and here is your verdict!...

... I'm continuing Request Week. Surprised?

For this poll I took in 38 votes, with 34 of those votes wanting me to continue the PV Request Week, and only 5 wanting me to do some more Big Bang reviews. Well, I can't say I'm surprised, so it looks like the Request Week will become an annual thing for me. You will all have fun choosing PV's for me to review, won't you?

Speaking of which, I have indeed been procrastinating... Sorry D;

NEXT?

Picture of the Week

Hey... are you going to eat that soul...? If not, then can I have it? Thanks~

I'm on a bit of a Paruru high... she's so creepy and cute... xD

Anyway, let's move on with the most important part of the Digest, which can only mean that it is time for this:

NEWS OF THE WEEK

The cover to Yajima Maimi's up-coming DVD, Chelsie, has been revealed!

Now, how many times do I have to tell this girl? Her name is NOT CHELSIE!

Source

The cover to C-ute's Cutie Circuit 2012 has been revealed!

... What, did someone barf paint on their outfits or something?

A Promo video for Berryz Kobou's up-coming concert tour in Bangkok has been uploaded!

I really can't say much about this other than the fact that this is such an amazing oppurtunity for Berryz; they may not have the best promotion in Japan, but by lord, they have the best promotion outside of their home country when compared to the other groups!

Morning Musume has been invited to the Osaka Women's Association New Years Concert (NHK), which will broadcast on January 2nd, 2013 at 7:30pm!

Okay, so they didn't get onto Kohaku... Oh well! They're doing something else, so this will be fun! Hopefully I can find the channel it's on...

Fans can send in song requests until December 14th, so if you have a request, send it in! However, you do need to live in Japan (or speak Japanese) to enter... urgh... ;A;

A 35 second TV spot for Ono Erena's up-coming 3rd single, Say!! Ippai has been released, allowing fans to preview her new song which will be released on December 26th, 2012.

... It's disappointing that it sounds similar to both Erepyon and Erenyan... All the same, I do like it, but still... She's getting as bland and unoriginal as AKB48...

Oooh, snap!

Fudanjuku have revealed the LQ covers to their up-coming 29th single, Jinsei Wahaha!, which will be released on January 9th, 2013. There are four editions available.

Track List:

1. Jinsei Wahaha!
2. Yuki no Yoru
3. Senpai no Kanojo (Regular and Event ver. only)
(+ Instrumentals included on Regular ver. only)

DVD List:

Jinsei Wahaha! Music Video (Limited A + B)
Jinsei Wahaha! Music Video Making of (Limited A)
Jinsei Wahaha! Live Video 2012.11.22@Shibuya O-EAST (Limited B)

YAY! It's great to finally see the covers for Fudanjuku's up-coming single, and whilst the covers themselves are fairly simple (like the PV itself), they are really cool, fun and really work in favour of Fudanjuku. They look nice!

It has been revealed that AAA will be releasing their 23rd single, currently untitled, and a live DVD/Blu-ray for AAA TOUR 2012 -777- TRIPLE SEVEN simultaneously on January 23rd, 2013. Whilst not much is know about AAA's first 2013 single, there will be a regular and limited editions released.

It's great to see news from AAA, a group I don't generally go straight to like Fudanjuku or Morning Musume, but I do enjoy their sound greatly and find them a fun and appealing group! Hopefully these guys will begin 2013 with a bang and show everyone just what they are made of with their new song and PV! I'm looking forward to it!

AKB48's Iwasa Misaki has revealed that she will be releasing her second Enka single, titled Moshimo Watashi ga Sora ni Sundeitara, which will be released on January 9th, 2013. There will be a Regular and Limited edition available.

Track List:

1. Moshimo Watashi ga Sora no Sundeitara
2. Flying Get! (Enka Ver.)
3. Ajisai-bashi / Jonouchi Sanae
(+ Instrumental tracks of all songs)

Limited Ver. DVD's:

1. Moshimo Watashi ga Sora no Sundeitara Music Video
2. Moshimo Watashi ga Sora no Sundeitara Making Of
3. Special video “Iwasa Misaki no Nayamigoto Yamakawa Yutaka-san ni Kiitemoraimashita” (Iwasa Misaki has a talk with Enka singer Yamakawa Yutaka)

There are very few AKB48 soloists I pay attention (Mayuyu currently being the only one, in fact) because there seems to be too many to watch, to find out about, etc... and also, I think they're only soloists so that Aki-P can get money. Then again, Idols are meant to make money, right? Well... whatever. If Isawa and her fans enjoy the sounds she creates, then yay!

-rolls around in Aki-P's money-

It has been announced via NMB48's official blog that Research Student Sugimoto Kana has withdrawn from the group, making her the 13th member to leave the group this year. She has cited her reason for withdrawing is to focus on her studies more.
I’m preparing for exams this year. Right now, I want to do my best with my studies to go to high school and make my dreams come true,"
My activities as NMB48 were happy and fun, but there were times I suffered from my unsatisfactory condition.
And another one of the million members of the '48 family bites the dust...

But seriously, dafuq is happening here? Are they all really getting tired of being pushed to the back and being given nothing because other girls are front and centre? Understandable, really...

Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku, aka Ebichu, will be releasing their third official single titled Ume which is set to release on January 16th, 2013. The title track has been written, composed and arranged by Maeyamada Kenichi, the one and only Hyadain, and the single will come out in three editions.

Track List:

1. Ume
2. Ganbatteru Tochuu
3. Odoru Gariben Chuugakusai (Regular only)
3. Pakuchi (Limited A only)
3. Diasuki dayo (Limited B only)
(+ Instrumental vers.)

I've been wondering when these balls of absolute Crazy Cute would be releasing something new. Their second single was a bit lacking in my opinion, hence no review or even an inkling of me even knowing about it's existence, but hopefully Ume will be a cute and fun spring song for these girls. I do look forward to it... but please, no tie-in's with Naruto. Especially Rock Lee...

Source

NogizakaFortyFail's song, Koko Janai Dokoka, has been picked up as the new ending theme for NHK's animation series Usagi no Mofy. The song can be found on the Limited B version of Nogizaka46's new single, Seifuku no Mannequin, which will release on December 19th.

Meh. Meh Meh Meh...

Though admittedly, their new song is everything that I did not expect...

A preview for Houkago Princess' latest single, titled Housoubu Please has been released. The single was released on December 2nd, 2012.

Track List:

1. Housoubu Please
2. Fuwafuwa Smile
3. Sanki Berri Macchi (?)

... This is another venue song, meaning that no one will upload it, and I will never ever be able to buy it. URGH why, HouPri, WHY? IT SOUNDS AMAZING!

Mano Erina's final Hello! Project single, NEXT MY SELF, will have a boxset.

Boxsets aren't all that new, but for Hello! Project they are usually used for something special more than anything, such as Morning Musume hitting 50 singles. It's great that Mano is getting one final boxset as H!P's sole soloist, and for fans who want to buy it to support their Idol, please go and buy a copy!

A preview for M-line Memory Vol. 9 has been released and featres Takahashi Ai's solo fan club tour.

As always, previews are a great way to get a taste of what a fanclub tour is all about. This time, it seems that Ai was able to experience a really fun day with her fans at an amusement park. We also get to see Ai singing a variety of songs for everyone, something we are used to seeing in FC tours, but it's honestly great to see that Ai is still singing for her fans.

Hopefully everyone can check it out and enjoy!

A video preview for the Demon Spawn's Momoko Tsugunaga's fanclub tour has been released.

She touched Momoiro Sparkling... unforgivable ;A;

However, it seems like a really fun, energetic fan club event, so hopefully everyone can enjoy the full DVD when it comes out! Definitely take a look at this preview, because it has Momoko written all over it XD Sadly, her hair is as horrible as ever in those stupid pigtails. Good thing she has plenty of hairstyles for me to like... xD

The digest for Oda Sakura's up-coming e-Hello! DVD, titled Greeting ~Sakura~ has been released for everyone to view and enjoy!

Like all other Greeting e-Hello's, this one features Sakura in a school uniform, as if she's on a date with the viewer. She looks very cute and innocent, and her smile is pretty infective! We also get to see her in a white dress with her hair all done up, which gives off a refreshing image of Sakura.

She is adorable, that's for sure... If only I could date you ;A;

Suzuki Airi will release a "Perfect" book, which will include gravure shots of Hello! Project's Ace as well as reveal treasures such as photo's, personal belongings and unveil a few things from her private life. This book will show the history of the 18 year-old Suzuki Airi as she celebrates 10 years of being in Hello! Project since the H!P Kids Auditions. The book has been titled Airi-al.

This is really interesting, mostly because no one else has released one of these, and as this book delves into not just Airi as an Idol, but also her personal life and history behind her career, it makes the book so much more interesting.

I do think that this is an amazing idea, and Airi totally deserves to be able to do this; she is the H!P Ace, and she has seniority over most now (barring older members from the Kids' days) within H!P, so I can see why they chose her.

Apologies if my translation is dodgy; Google translate is bad :D

The limited edition cover to Fukuda Kanon's Kanyon17 photobook has been revealed.

... Is it bad that I think this looks boring?

AKB48 have secured themselves another Guinness World Record with their game AKB1/149 Renai Sousenkyo.

It isn't really that hard to secure these sorts of titles that have anything to do with numbers when you are a super group full of teenagers/young women... really, it isn't XD But congrats to AKB for another record!

Weather Girls have revealed a preview of their up-coming second single, Koi wa Tokimeko Chuihoi, which will be released on February 6th, 2013. The preview shows backstage footage from the MV shooting, costumes and the girls commenting on the single itself.

In my opinion, the beginning of the song (the opening I guess) and their costumes give off an SNSD vibe, but the song gets into a really cute, Japanese vibe which reminds me of an up-beat spring song. It sounds and looks really cute.

Hopefully everyone can check it out and anticipate this release!

Morning Musume have revealed the title of their 52nd single, titled Help me!!, through youtube as well as shared their comments and a preview of the song.

... URGH, it sounds a bit like As for One Day, a song I despise and has no real good point to it... but oh well, this is only a short preview, hopefully it will sound better in full. Sadly, the costumes do nothing for me either, though I love Haruka's hat, and Sayu's! Also, Winky Twin-tails are back... and this costume has Winky written all over it...

Also, the only solo line we get is Riho, and wow her voice sounds crap bad. All nasal and strain, and no talent.

A PV Preview and the covers to Kasai Tomomi's debut song, Masaka, have been revealed. The PV preview shows us the story of what seems to be an unexpected, but sweet, love that Tomomi dreams of.

(Type A, B and C in order from top Left to Bottom)

Tracklist:

1. Masaka
2. Watashi no Hikari
3. Dakishimeraretara (Type A + C)
3. Candy (Type B + C)
(+ Instrumentals)

The covers have been revealed, and let's just say, I am surprised by Type A... I really am! I didn't expect a sexual cover to come out of this, but then again... this AKB, and sex sells... so yeah XD

Unsurprisingly, my favourite cover is Type C, as it features a very Princess-like image which is extremely appealing to me.

The video itself looks really nice and cute, depicting the dream of a bookworm who wants to be in love. The song also sounds very dream-like and filled with the possibilities of love, which I like. I also love that the actors and Tomomi speak the lyrics of the song... How sweet!

I'm looking forward to this debut! I really am!

Fudanjuku's facebook group has achieved 10,000 fans in its first month since being created!

OMG!!!! I was so happy when I read this! Congratulatios, Fudanjuku! I LOVE YOU <3 <3

And that's all we have time for this week! Thanks for reading and staying tuned in to my Weekly Digest's, I hope that the news wraps up the week nicely for you all! Have an Idol-filled week, and remember to stay happy and obsessed with these Japanese cuties!

Okay! Musume Digest #22

Okay guys, it is that magical time of the week again... Digest Time! Get ready to Digest~

So this week has been pretty good for H!P news I think, with a few other bits and pieces on the side that I randomly picked up. Thank goodness the week wasn't a total dud! Anyway, other than gathering news, I have been pretty busy + really really tired too, so I haven't been spending much time here DX Have yet to spend a lot of time online at all, really! Oh me, oh my DX

Anyway, I hope that you have all had a lovely week! Hope that you haven't been as busy as I have, and remember: SLEEP!!! 8D

Also, this would have been up earlier if not for distractions... DX

SO, what is the picture of the week my dears? Let's take a looksy, shall we?

Right in the groin! Ouch... okay, I kid xD

But dayumn, that's a good kick, Eripon!

Anyway, poll time. Wanna know what it is, and yes, I actually have a poll question! My sister actually gave me the poll idea, so thank you, Mamba Pon!!!!

Who is Your Favourite Sexy Zone Member?

Haven't had enough Sexy Zone in a while, so hey, why not? So pick your fave member, or members, and have fun! So, who is your Sexy Zone fave/ Mine is Marius, of course! Such a sweety <3

... I swear I have done this poll before?

Meh!

Anyway, I think that it's time for the...

NEWS OF THE WEEK

The cover to Kudo Haruka's first photobook, titled Do, has been revealed!

The Queen of Lollipops and Gum drops has once again graced us, this time in the form of her all natural beauty. Seriously, she looks so innocent and sweet here, nothing like her usual bossy attitude, am I right?

This girl will be a real looker when she's older. Damn, she is awesome... <3

Source

A short PV or Sashihara Rino's up-coming single, titled Ikujinashi Masquerade! has been revealed. This version is the Muse no Kagami version, which shows scenes from Sasshi's single.

Shall I be honest? Yes, I will, because to be blunt, this short PV was hard to watch because of how bad the acting in it is. Oh boy Sasshi can not act... or at least that's what I think? But it killed me, I can't even watch the entire 2 minutes because I find Sasshi to be such a crappy little actress.

However, nice to see PV's appearing. Nice to see Sasshi only, actually. Yay.

Morning Musume have released a Sakura Oda version of Wakuteka Take a Chance, showing off Sakura as she dances to Wakuteka.

I wasn't expecting this... wait, was anyone expecting this at all? Well, regardless, it's pretty damn good I think that UFA are doing this in order to promote not only Sakura, but also the single. Okay, so her dancing looks stiff and lacking in refinement, but that doesn't matter. This is what will tide over the hungry Oda fans until the next single, I think, and honestly? Damn clever of UFA to do this.

Nice work.

Oh crap, I meant UFP. Promotion seems to be their aim now, DAMN!!!

Michishige Sayumi graces the cover of EZ Japan and looks as stunning as ever~

Promotion! Oh man, it seems UFP really are serious about this name change thing and it not being a joke... until next year, of course, when they begin to suck again, but that is not the point right now! PROMOTION! Of Sayu, no less, the one who is just awesome in a cute way~

Yay, promotion! (can you tell I'm happy?)

Morning Musume have appeared on Thailand's TV show, Japan Bravo where the girls performed One Two Three and talk to the hosts as well as meet their fans.

Seeing this is really great because it shows just how loved MoMusu are in Thailand, and allows the girls to see their fans from another country and to realise just how much they are loved. It was great to see scenes of the fans who support the girls waving and smiling, and to also see the girls (Iikubo mostly) waving back! It's really nice.

Hopefully promotion like this keeps up! It's getting good!

The covers to Hello! Project's 2012 Summer concerts, KtKr and Wkwk have been released, showing the girls in off-shots during performances.

The covers are your standard affair, showing off the groups and the girls either individually or together. It's a nice little cover for each concert, and whilst not overly complex or well thought out, the covers are nice to look at.

Source | Source

The Queen of Smug and Auto Tune (kinda) has graced the cover of Weekly Famitsu Taiwan.

Promotion! All hail promotion, even if it is for Smugleaf (haha Pokemon fan-name reference) and her ability to pop up everywhere even when you don't want her to. But, it is promotion, and promotion makes me incredibly happy because it means that Morning Musume get more of a push. YIPEE!!

Go UFP, you really are putting the promotion in your name, aren't you?

A full length preview for S/mileage's Samui Ne has been released for everyone to listen to, so check it out!

The song is quite a cool song, one which follows a similar feel to it that Suki yo delivered. It's different from the usual we get from S/mileage, but the song sounds nice and has a slight sad, Christmas feel to it, bringing on thoughts of a sad, lonely Christmas.

I'm not used to this new sound that S/mileage are producing, but the girls seem to get more and more diverse the older they get. Also, is it just me, or does this sound somewhat familiar? I can't quite put my finger on it, but I swear I have heard this tune somewhere else before...

Morning Musume grace the cover of Luck You magazine.

1) Nice photoshop, I seriously can tell you have no idea what you're doing. It looks choppy.
2) PROMOTION WIN!!!

Suzuki Airi and Sayashi Riho both grace the cover of Idolgraph with some random SKE, Cheeky Parade, SUPER GiRLS and other chicks.

Promotion, again? Well, it's good, especially if two Hello! Project chickies are put on the cover! That, and the girls are being promoted alongside other Idols from big-name groups, so this makes me a very happy Winking Wota.

Promotion is key, guys~ No matter who it is, I guess~

Our sweet little Lollipop Idol's image DVD release has a cover! It has been titled HARUKA and will contain absolute sweetness, you will get cavities! Check it out and enjoy, guys!

Let's just say I am happy that she's getting a photo book and image DVD. This girl totally deserves it, even though I know that I won't read it because she is loli bait DX

On November 11th, there will be a female-only Satoyama one day Bus tour in Hitachi Oota.

Sadly, it looks like only Maimi from DIY♡ will be going, which sucks because I don't like her, she is one of my least fave H!P members - the others in DIY♡ I actually really like. Sucks the one who is urgh is there DX

Anyway, bitchiness aside, it's great to see that the Satoyama units (plus the randomness of Airi and Kanyon, new duo?) are able to have their own bus tour and promote themselves to the female fans of Hello! Project, whilst also promoting agriculture life, DIY and other experiences to do with the country. It will be a great learning experience for the women and will hopefully give these girls more promotion and exposure!

On December 23rd, there will be a Mano Erina fanclub event held.

HECK YEAH, MANO ERI!!!

Considering she will be leaving soon, this will be a great chance for fans to go and see their Idol before she officially graduates from Hello! Project as a solo singer. This probably won't be her last FC event, but if it is, definitely try to get there!

The cover to Morning Musume's 'Morning Musume Single M Clips 7' has been unveiled!

... Looking a lil crowded there, ain'cha?

A PV teaser to Naaboudoufu@Nana's up-coming second single, Magical Lip KISS, has been released!

To be quite honest with you all, I am not overly impressed with this PV or the song. There's nothing outstanding about it, nothing which makes me think 'Omg wow, cute, pretty, fun, colourful...' like KuneKune Bravo did. It seemed like there was a lot more personality in her last single, but here there is less of that personality and more of a robotic like girl... no, I am not liking it so much.

It sounds... okay? But I am not psyched on it. I'll wait till the full song and PV comes out, though, but definitely check it out if you're interested.

A preview to Morning Musume's up-coming 2012 Hawaii Fanclub Tour DVD has been released, so check it out!

Now, not to be a bitch, but I swear Riho sounds really shit live compared to when she first joined Morning Musume.

Just sayin'.

Morning Musume grace the various regional covers of B.L.T Magazine!

-cries- Oh beautiful, beautiful promotion... -weeps more-

Source

... Aaaaand that is all for this eek! Plenty of H!P news, not enough of other news, but I keep ignoring everything on the internet right now.

DAMN!

Anyway, I hope that you all have a good weak ahead of you, and keep smiling and winking!

Okay! Musume Digest! #15

DIGEST DIGEST TAIMU WOW-WOW-WOW
DIGEST DIGEST STATION WOW-WOW YEAH-YEAH

Do you know what I call this week? Procrastination for the Nation week, because guess what? That's all I've been doing with this Digest... and it wasn't until today that I actually put up a bunch of news, so I've been pretty bad this week... But meh x3 Nothing much interested me, though there have been too may graduations e.e

Anyways, lazyness and Graduations aside (cry cry don't cry FU~) it's been an all right week news wise, though I feel like it's gone a bit slower than usual. That, or the news just doesn't seem to fit my taste buds right now DX Though the Show Luo album release is my favourite bit of news for this week... >3> Muahahahaha...

Anyway, before I get into the News of the Week, allow me to reveal the winners of this weeks poll, as well as hand you all a delightful picture of the Week ^^

So, the winner of this Week's Poll, Who is your favourite AKB48 Senbatsu member? is... -drum roll please-

Oshima Yuko, Shinoda Mariko and Takahashi Minami with 22% of the votes each! You go girls!!!

I am honestly surprised that the Creeper didn't win! I really am! I thought that Mayu would take this poll by storm, but once again you guys have surprised me, and chosen girls I didn't think would win... well, I knew Oshima would get a high vote, but I wasn't expecting the amount of TakaMina love in this poll! I appreciate the TakaMina and Mariko love, by the way, they are two girls who I quite like in AKB48!

Anyway, with a three-way tie, what did the other girls get in terms of votes? Let's take a looksy!

Watanabe Mayu 18%
Kashiwagi Yuki 18%
Minegashi Minami 16%
Sashihara Rino 14%
Matsui Jurina 14%
Kasai Tomomi 12%
Kojima Harua 11%
Miyazawa Sae 11%
Kitahara Rie 11%
Itano Tomomi 7%
Matsui Rena 7%
Umeda Ayaka 7%
Yokoyama Yui 5%

And those are the results! Thank you to everyone who took part in this poll and voted for their favourite Senbatsu members! Overall, there was a grand total of 54 votes! So, once again, thank you for taking part in the poll and helping Yuko, Mariko and TakaMina climb to the top! I really appreciate it!

And now, let's move onto the main event of this Digest. Yes, you know what it's time for! It is time for the...

NEWS OF THE WEEK

This week's Hello! SATOYAMA Life is brought to you by: Sexy Times, because C-ute isn't so Cute any more.

No auditions this week! And yes, this did disappoint a lot of people, which is honestly understandable. I was actually hoping for more audition footage, because I never actually said much about the first bit we got when it was released, so yeah... I was hoping for more, and didn't get more x3 Maybe in the next two weeks? Cos next week's episode won't have any footage either xD

Anyway, this weeks episode shares footage of Aika and Chinami doing some DIY work together as they try to make a bench. You know, I hate watching people use saws. Ever since I sliced one of my fingers with one in Wood Work class, I haven't really been able to handle saw's or sharp things in general. Yes, I needed to share that with you to creep you out xD

Anyway, there is also some C-ute love in this episode, showing some footage from the recording of their music video for Aitai Aitai Aitai na. This will be a treat for any C-ute fan I think, and it adds more variety to the episodes of SATOYAMA Life too, so be sure to watch it even if it's jut to see C-ute.

It's a nice episode to watch, so have fun! :D

The King of Perfection himself, Show Luo, will be releasing his debut Japanese album this September 19th! A PV preview for the first song featured in the album, RUNNER, is also available for fans to view.

Track List:

1. RUNNER
2. Bounce!
3. Dance in Paradise
4. STAND UP
5. STILL
6. DANTE
7. MAGIC
8. Tarantula
9. I Just Wanna Love You
10. See the same sky

Okay, finally, our darling Show Luo is getting a Japanese album! I absolutely adore Show Luo, he is an amazing singer, a great dancer and an absolute cutie, so I've been awaiting a new announcement concerning a Japanese release, and we have one now!

I'm really looking forward to this album, it seems promising. There are a good number of tracks (and a PV!) with previews available on Show's official ponycanyon website to get everyone excited! There are dance based tracks, love songs, cool songs... you know, plenty of genres x3 From the previews, Runner, Tarantula, STILL and See the same sky all sound like extremely promising songs... Oh, and of course the PV looks fantastic from the preview!

This looks to be a promising album, so yeah... I am really looking forward to it! Bring on the Sow Luo hotness!!!

Yajima Maimi and Suzuki Airi have been featured in the weekly magazine Shounen Sunday!

The preview is small, but hey! At least we can see the girls in all their glory! Of course, Airi is the real stunner here, and Maimi looks a bit derpy. Anyway, as both of these C-ute members are very popular, it comes as no surprise that they are featured on a magazine together. Hopefully all fans can buy it and stare at the glorious beauty that is Airi!!!

SKE48 will be releasing their first album on thr 19th of September! A trailer has been uploaded via their official youtube channel showing off short clips of the members.

SKE48 are probably the most energetic and best group out of the 48 family in my opinion, and now they are releasing an album, which is amazing news for any fan of the group! I love SKE, because these girls have some really great MV's and songs which I really like.

Anyway, it's something to look forward to! So, let's look forward to the up-coming first album of this great group, and if you love them and can buy it... yeah, buy it! xD

Sayashi Riho, Suzuki Kanon and Sato Masaki promote Morning Musume's 13th album in this video from MacPeople magazine!

It's great to see that promotions are somewhat going under-way for Morning Musume's 13th album, which will be the first album featuring the 10th generation, and to see that UFA are allowing two 9th generation members and a Jyuukie promote it.

As you probably know, Riho, Zukki and Sato were all chosen to be shown in MacPeople magazine, promoting not only themselves but also their group, so it's great to see that the girls were able to record a small clip of themselves promoting Morning Musume's new album for the same magazine so that fans can see it! Hopefully everyone can watch it for the cuteness of the girls!

The outfits for Mornig Musume's Autumn concert tour have been revealed in this preview!

Erm... why are they ugly? Why are they tacky? UFA, did you stab your eyes to make these? They suck D8

Whilst yes indeedy, these costumes are colourful, they aren't exactly attractive, though the retro feeling I'm getting is nice, but honestly, these costumes suck. The hats look horrible, Haruka's hair... what did they DO!? Is she the new Aika with her hair and catastrophes... OH, and Reina's hair! The pigtails! NOOOOO D8< This photo is damn old xD

Anyway, whatever, they suck, we will live. Boohoo.

The members of Buono! will appear on Ikasama Takosama on September 5th.

Okay, so I am pretty sure that this is a TV show, but it might be a drama... who knows? Either way, an appearence is good news because it means promotion, and if it is a TV show, then may there be a song promotion in the works? Hopefully, because Buono! just released their mini-album, so if they are promoting it it will be great!

Anyway, I hope that fans will look forward to the performance!

Satoyama Life now has an official youtube channel for everyone to check out as a part of their Satoyama movement!

I wasn't expecting a youtube to come out of the Satoyama movement... then again, I don't think that anyone was expecting two new sub-units to come out of it, either, so this is another pleasant surprise for everyone who has been watching the Satoyama Life videos from the get-go.

There are already three videos up on the channel, including two full concert performances: One from Peaberry, and the other from DIY♡. From the sub-groups and youtube channel that have been created for this movement, it seems that Satoyama Life is set to promote itself well and to try its best in making sure that everyone knows about it, which is of course great! Hopefully there will be more surprises to come from this movement later on, maybe a MoBeKiMaSu surprise before Mano graduates? Honestly, if that happened, it would be amazing!

Stay tuned for more Satoyama Life if anything ever happens after this!

Creepy Idol Wota Eripon's official DVD cover for her journey to (and during) Niigaki's FC has been released, showing Eripon in all of her Wotaful glory.

The cover... Oh boy, the cover is just wonderful! Whilst most Idols are prim and proper, and show a more girlish lady-like side, we see a totally different look with Eripon, who is now known for her creepy Wota tendencies and her fangirlish love over Morning Musume's 7th leader, Niigaki Risa. For many Eripon fans, this is a release which is much anticipated, because this DVD follows Eripon on her Wota journey as she experiences an FC event as a fan as opposed to being an Idol.

It's great that Eripon was able to get this opportunity to be filmed and to even get her own DVD, showing off her love for Gaki along the way. It's great that she was also able to interact with fans too, and to show her love for Gaki. This is why I love this creepy girl x3

I really want to see this DVD! Hopefully subs will be available soon! Actually, I hope the DVD itself will be available soon! Gyah!

Here is what seems to be a clip from the DVD, so look forward to it, guys! :D

The cover to Niigaki Risa's ~Morning Days Happy Holiday~ Risa Niigaki Fanclub Tour in Shizuoka has been released in low quality for all to see!

The FC tour cover is quite like Eripon's own DVD cover, though less creepy, and more casual looking, but the way it is designed is in the same kind of format, though Gaki's seems to be more mature and less childish, in a way. We get quite a few pictures on the back, ranging from professional to natural where Gaki isn't posing, and it's nice to see those sorts of pictures on the cover. Just from this, we get a good idea of what to expect from the DVD: Plenty of Gaki, and  singing, of course!

Hopefully all fans can buy a copy, and if you aren't sure as whether or not to buy it, then take a look at her performance of Takahashi Ai's graduation solo, Jishin Motte Yume wo Motte Tobidatsu Kara decide for you!

Niigaki Risa has been cast in the stage play 'Dietrich', and will be playing the part of Maria, the daughter of the lead character Marlene Dietrich. Performances will be held in Tokyo from October 29th until November 4th at Aoyama Theatre, and Osaka performances will be held on November 16th-18th at Morinomiya Pilotis Hall.

Niigaki Risa is certainly keeping herself busy, because right after wrapping up the stage play Tumbling Vol. 3, she has now landed a new part in Dietrich, a play based on the life of Marlene Dietrich, who was a German-American actress and singer who became popular in the 1930's onwards.

For any fan of Gaki, this is fantastic news, as Gaki is keeping herself busy and working hard with her acting career now. She has been in a few stage plays, and is still keeping herself busy with work! So when I found out that she would be in a new stage play, I was really happy, because Gaki is a fantastic actress.

Hopefully any fans who can go to see this play, or go buy it even, then do it and see Gaki shine!

Also... a video where Gaki promotes the stage play!

Backstage footage of Niigaki Risa and Mitsui Aika's graduation concert, Ultra Smart has been released for fans to see what went on behind the scenes for around 15 minutes!

Backstage footage is always nice to see, especially when it concerns a graduation, and when I first saw this, I really teared up. Gaki has been a favourite member of mine since late 2009, so for me, she was the member who I had the longest 'run' with ever since joining the Morning Musume and Hello! Project fandom, so for any fan, these clips will be quite emotional.

Hopefully more, such as the graduation concert itself, will be uploaded for everyone, especially the international fans, to see at some point.

Michishige Sayumi's solo song, Lalala no Bibibi, which will be available on Morning Musume's 13th album, has now been released as a radio rip for everyone to listen to! Cuteness, auto-tune and Sayu loveliness to ensue!

Honestly, I am not a fan of most of these auto-tune songs, but with Sayu, I am used to it... and so it isn't surprising that her solo song has that auto-tune edge to it. It's cute, quite enjoyable, and very sugary. Quite the opposite from her solo song It's You, which is a lot more... sexual, I guess. Anyway, this song is really cute, and if you love Sayu, you might just love this. It has Sayu and cuteness written all over it x3

Karen Classica has announced her graduation from Cafe based Idol Group Afilia Saga East. After taking a break since the end of July, she has come to terms with how difficult it has been to come back into her activities, she finds that her graduation is due.

It seems that a lot of graduations are happening lately in the Idol world, some bigger than others of course, but everyone will agree that any graduation is sad, no matter what. This time, it is Karen from Afilia Saga East. She joined back in 2010, so her run with the group has sadly not been a long one, though she has been a key member to the group ever since she joined.

When I first found out that she had graduated through the JPH!P forums, I was shocked. Actually, I thought that it was Kurumi graduating, but then I remembered that Karen never used 'LaLa Milk' at the end of her name, but knowing that another member was graduating was still deeply saddening. No, Karen was not my favourite, but she was such an energetic member, one who you cul recognise from her genki nature and beautiful smile, and I will be sad to see her leave the group.

Whatever happens afterwars, please everyone, support Karen Classica!

Station♪ have revealed the cover of their new single, LOVE Happy Sataion, which will be released on the 10th of September!

I haven't really been keeping up with updates from Station♪ as of late, but it was nice to see that the girls had a cover for their next single, and thankfully it features everyone on it! Editing wise, the cover is quite plain, but the girls all look great, and the font and colour that has been used for the title stands out against the plain background. They all look great, and the cover is quite nice too!

Station♪ have now opened their official fanclub! Currently there isn't a lot to be seen via the site, though there is a video where the girls talk about the fanclub. Anyway, go and check it out!

It seems that Station♪ have become that little bit more popular, because the girls officially opened up their fanclub on the 3rd of September for fans to join! This is amazing news, because it means that fans can sign up for events that the girls might organise, and gives fanclub members other opportunities that may not arise for casual fans.

Hopefully fans will take the opportunity to sign up!

Watanabe Mayu has been cast as the protagonist for the upcoming anime film Nerawareta Gakuen and will also provide the theme song. The film is based on Mayumura Taku's Sci-Fi novel. Mayu's character is called Suzuuru Natsuki.

With Mayu's rising popularity as an AKB48 member, and with her voicing for a main character in AKB0048 as well, I'm honestly not surprised to see that she is getting a chance to shine in a new anime film, and I find that her lending her voice to the film's theme song is quite fitting for her, as her voice suits the sort of tone that anime songs have (She feels more like an anime soloist to me in many ways, I can't call her a real soloist xD) and the cutesy image they have, too. And, of course, Mayu's character is a rather happy, energetic character which suits how Mayu acts, too, so hopefully this will be an easy role for Mayuyu to take on!

Mayu commented on her character:

"Though I’m a little anxious, I would like to enjoy voice acting for this.  Since ‘Natsuki’, whom I’m voice acting for, is a very cheerful, cute, and charming girl, I’ll try my best so that people watching the anime will like her!”

Hopefully all fans will anticipate the release of this film and listen to Mayu's cute voice as 'Natsuki'

S/milege have announced atheir 12th single, their fall tour and a second album to be released in this year and in 2013! Triple WOW!

Their fall concert will begin on the 23rd of September, their 12th single will be released in November and apparently the album will be released in 2013. That's a lot to take in, eh?

It seems that S/mileage will be busy these coming months, what with rehearsals, recordings, MV shoots and photoshoots, plus fan events and promotions for their up-coming single and album! The girls will have a hectic few months, I think, but this is quite a nice surprise for all fans!

S/mileage have changed a lot this past year, but it's great to see that the girls are all doing their best for the group they love so much, and to know that they are still going, and bringing out their 12th single since their debut, it's quite overwhelming for fans who have been with these girls since the beginning. The new album will certainly be different from the last album that S/mileage released, which had only the original four members present, as there will be new voices, possibly new sounds and different personalities behind the songs.

Hopefully previews and such will come out soon, and let's hope for an MV release, too! Waiting is always the hardest part when it comes to waiting for a groups newest release!

Morning Musume will be filming an appearence on NHK's Music Japan on October 1st. The episode will be aired later on in the month.

TV appearances = GOOD NEWS! Then again, I always think that anything to do with events or TV shows is good news, because it means promotion, so yeeah! Anyway, it's great that fans have been given confirmation of a recording so that we know when to expect the episode to come out, though no official date for the episode to be released has been given as of yet.

Currently, there is no word of what the girls will be doing on the show, though they may be promoting their album or their new single, Wakuteke Take a chance. Big chance it's the latter.

Anyway, good news. Yatta~

Morning Musume will be attending JapanFesta 2012 in Bangkok!

This is a great announcement, because it means that Morning Musume will be able to promote themselves in another country, and once again go abroad! The last time the girls went abroad (that wasn't Hawaii) they went to Paris and performed, so it's great to find out that the girls will once again be taking a flight to a different country to promote themselves!

Currently there is no other information available, but hopefully we will get confirmation of who is going and what they will do.
